  So it's endgame. Killer knew hatch location and B lined right to it before 3rd survivors death animation ended to deny hatch. It's a trapper and both exit gates are already trapped.   While a hatch escape is a fair last attempt at escape for a solo survivor who's team didn't pull their weight while they hammered out gens. I feel they should update the hatch to deny access to any survivor that didn't personally unlock it through in game achievements (gen completion, chases, saves & cleansing) As a killer you can apply heavy map pressure to slow or hault any kind of gen

  When in a 1v1 situation and the hatch is closed it becomes very easy for the killer to gaurentee the last survivor doesn't escape simply by exploiting the endgame timer and by monitoring the exit gate door lights.   I understand the problem we had before with hatch stand offs but I would prefer that the killer was unable to close the hatch and instead the timer started counting down as soon as the 3rd survivor dies. The countdown would prevent standoffs since it would only result in the survivor dying anyways.
