SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: Queuing as killer in 2v8 may result in the game crashing when joining a lobby on the main menu. The game may also crash after loading into a trial as killer in 2v8. Hello, I’ve played DBD on Switch for 2,000 hours and I’m a huge fan of the game. However, after recently upgrading to a Switch2 I can’t stand playing with these graphics much longer. I understand developing a Switch2 version of the game isn’t as easy as pushing some buttons and shipping it, but it really feels absurd having a 4k 60fps console running a 9 year old game at 30fps 720p. i find the new character menu UI incredibly overwhelming, and oddly stressful to navigate. I’m not opposed to change, but this is a case of trying to reinvent the wheel. Turning what is supposed to be a simple character UI into what is now just another shop has only served to clutter the screen, get in the way of choosing characters, and is just overall so much worse. I’m really enjoying how BHVR has been introducing more diverse perks for killers to use when it comes to the gen regression meta for killers! As someone who plays both survivor and killer it’s really helped in my personal enjoyment of the game. When playing survivor not having to constantly deal with Ruin is really nice. I keep searching for lobbies and it either fails and gives me a “Failed to connect to host” error OR finds a lobby, starts loading, then takes an extra 2-3 mins to load before spitting out on the post-game screen.
