Deathslinger right now is low C tier. His harpoon is barely threatening at all. It doesnt guarantee damage, and even if you have god aim, you wont ever get reliable downs because of the flimsy chain.
Happened to me. Huntress hatchets gets the hitbox of a pallet yet this guy aims with a needle.
He is so much fun, but he is more frustrating than he is fun.

If anything, he needs a nerf. Might be that he is weak on PS4 because stinky controls, but on PC when versing a good Deathslinger you are dead when within LOS.
Imagine thinking he has no counterplay when he can't deal with MANY pallets.

Because she's incredibly misunderstood. M&A is a must on her. Her playstyle is different and I used to play her wrong too, until I played against a great Plague. You want slug the first survivor and look for the other 3. Once everyone is broken and after your next down, you power up, then hook. with BBQ + M&A you're guaranteed to down the next one extremely fast.
Thana is really good on her and you want another gen slowdown perk.

Playing this game on console is an exercise in frustration. I'm so glad I switched to PC.
Half the killers are unviable on console + the game is so poorly optimized. I was SHOCKED to see that it was one of the most played games on ps4 in 2019. BHVR really are coasting through with minimal effort.

Uh. I havent seen a Billy in months. Im a rank 3 surv on console, and thanks to matchmaking, I get killers from all ranks (gj BHVR). Hillbilly is not difficult to counter. His chainsaw travels in an easily predictable arc, but again, because this is DBD, you are bound to get hit by some bs every now and then. You do realize that M2 Billys are severely limiting their offense by using the saw? Most high rank Billys mostly use it as means to get around the map, because in most scenarios, guaranteeing a damage state is better than maybe getting an instant down, but Im not that good with Billy soooooo..
Also he has hella punishment for running into objects. Oni doesnt, but he has a long ass swing cooldown. And yes, Billy does have a cooldown on the saw as well. After the saw is used, youll hear a lil engine noise, and that means that you can use it again. During said cooldown, you cant attack AT ALL, you can only move.
No Billy does not need a nerf or "tweaking". But you know what does? Adrenaline, Decisive Strike, Dead Hard, etc.
So TLDR....git gud
I'm not sure why you're under the impression that people care about console killers. Everyones knows Ps4 controller is NOTORIOUSLY bad for fast turns/flicking. Of course you won't see a Billy, Oni, or Nurse on console unless you have XIM.

DS makes survivor play recklessly with 0 repercussions. Oh look I have DS, lemme just do whatever the ######### I want and the killer can't touch me for 60 seconds.

The days of Mettle of Man + purp medkit addon. You 99& heal when you're injured. 1st hit, mettle of man activates, you heal back to healthy. 2nd hit you're injured and then you instaheal. 4th hit you're injured again. I could feel the killer's despair as he was chasing me.

How about make kicking actually useful? Right now kicking a gen without Pop is 4/5 useless because it gets cancelled with a tap and the regression rate is incredibly slow.

Yup. Go to twitch and you will see the vast majority of streamers are playing survivor because they can just chill and interact with their chat.

He had 4 hooks in two minutes against terrible survivors and they still end up genrushing. What OP is trying to prove is that his momentum did not matter.

I'm not sure why you're lying to yourself by saying that most SWF in red ranks are casual; this is obvious bullshit to any killer main.
Also, the devs are "professional" in creating the game, but they have NOT optimized their gameplay. I would trust a killer or survivor with 2k hours about game balance.

Which killer do you main? If you can't play Billy, Nurse, Spirit, Hag then you honestly shouldn't play killer. The Devs made it very clear they prefer survivors.
