  • Meme-y killers and Survivors. Plus, this game is really fun with friends, and I absolutely love the lore and fandom this game has. Honestly, if it wasn't for the lore and fandom, I would have left a long time ago.

  • This. I already struggle with following scratch-marks as is. Not sure why, but ever since the update, it's become much harder.

  • Tbh, while I loved his content, I hope he doesn't come back for his own sake. I just don't want him spiraling like that again- and it's something you can do really easily by falling back into old habits. Some people just aren't built to be content creators, even if they were good at it- and I think Noob was one of them. Hope he's doing well though, he was always great at what he did.

Here is the rub, I don't care how you treat the game for YOURSELF. I have no expectations of what you want from the game or how you choose to play it. Just because I'm competitive, doesn't mean I expect you to play my way. The only thing I ask is please don't grief, shame, or spend a lot of time trying to make me play YOUR way. It isn't going to happen anyway, so it is a waste of your time (and mine). You do you; I'll do me. I will always be polite pre-game and post game. I will do my best to be humble in victory and gracious in defeat. During the match, I'm going to play to win. I won't cheat, but I will avail myself of any tool in the tool box if I need it. I won't begrudge you yours either. You might curb-stomp me and I'm going to give you a GG. I will hopefully learn something from it.

I mean, I'm fine with that. I never grief or shame anyone or make them play my way. Worst I'll do is hit you with a 'ggwp', and if it was like... a Forever Freddy with a Game offering, then I'll hit you with the 'man that was boring' after the gg. I don't mind people seeing this as a competitive game- I just think that not enough people realize that not everyone plays like that, and the system in place now really doesn't help things, since everyone plays together in the same queue- no matter how they see the game.

    Bait?

Nowhere near mate, just stating the obvious.

Every time there is a strong killer/add on or perk, people start crying that it needs to be nerfed.

It's always been like that and will always be like that unfortunately.

And yes spirit has been changed/nerfed a couple of time now.

Don't believe than feel free to search around ๐Ÿ˜‰โœŒ๏ธ

I mean, people cry all the time about how survivor perks, items and add-ons need to be nerfed. (Old insta-heals and BNP anyone?) I mean, there's dozens of DS threads, or threads turned into DS threads, because of it.

Sure, Spirit has received nerfs, but she's also received buffs since her release. (Such as a power recharge reduction and noise changes in 2018, or her more recent lunge change.) And her nerfs really aren't bad. (Her losing her hitbox just means she can't mindlessly zoom into survivors and feel for them like she used to at loops, causing her to require more skill for what she does, which she didn't have before. Prayerbeads nerf was needed. The fact that you could get grabbed off of any gens without anyway to foretell it coming besides running a perk was crappy. Now, you can still do the same thing if the survivor gets cocky- and you can scare other survivors just by using your power normally. And did she really not need to have a window vault when every other killer in the game has one, especially when she could already mind game people by standing still?)

I'll admit she has had more nerfs then buffs, but I don't think that means it's bad, or one-sided. Spirit is still really fun and rewarding to play, and she still does great at what she was built to do- shut down 1v1s. She still has great add-ons (which is more then what some killers, like Demo, can say), and her power is amazing.

People call for nerfs to both killer and survivor perks all the time. And nerfs and changes do happen to both, just like how buffs happen to both. It's not a one-way street- if it was, we'd still have infinites, old Balanced Landing, regaining exhaustion while you're running, and an absolute myriad of safe pallets.)

  • Lol sorry m8, but if you want me to treat the game as an actual Competitive Game, there needs to be changes first.

As a very specific example that I love to use here, the big one is that the game doesn't really have a strict win condition. If you want to see this game as competitive, it needs to have a strict win condition. While I know this is an asymmetrical game, for example, if I play a game of Overwatch, when I get to the end screen, I get a definitive win or loss.

Don't get me wrong, there are still win conditions in Dead by Daylight. Obviously, survivors and killers have objectives for a reason. However, when you get to the end game screen, the best we get is a scoring system made up by the Devs, who say themselves don't actually represent your skill. So what are we really counting as a win? The game's system which the Devs stated aren't good? Escapes to death? Because right now, players can pretty much choose their win condition, as a lot of it is just what the player believe they need to do to win. If that means sacrificing themselves to the killer, or protecting that sweet, sweet basement chest, then that's their win condition. Personally, I don't mind that as a player. I think it's fun like that. But the game isn't competitive. Sure, there's a competitive scene- but let's also remember that a lot of Tournaments for this game have different point systems and such because no one can agree with what the win conditions are for either side.

Honestly, I don't think the game should be considered competitive in the same vain as CS:GO, OW, or even SSBU. At the very least, not without some major changes for both killer and survivor- or a dedicated 'ranked' and 'casual' modes.

  • @Dennis_van_eijk said:

It is so funny how survivors want to destroy certain killers and/or add ons.

How many times is spirit been changed now?

    3 times I believe?

Before the last chance people were crying, if you take away her collision while phasing, give her an actual vault animation and nerf her prayer beads that everything is good and fun to play against.

And so the devs listened once again and nerfed/changed her.

But wait that is not enough, they still can't bully her and they still fall for the same old spirit tricks.

๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ Nerf her more we don't want strong killers, we want to bully all the killers and have them play by our rules ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Ffs grow up and try to think outside of the box a little (just a tiny little bit is all it needs), instead of trying to destroy killers/add ons/perks.

The devs are dumb and scared that they listen to much to those kinds of people unfortunately.

    lol nice bait m8

  • Honestly, just practice and don't take it seriously. I would assume if you're getting back from a break, then you're probably at least been through a rank reset or two, so don't sweat it. Best way to learn is to practice. I would also recommend watching people like Otz play, as he does a great job explaining how he plays killer, and with that you can learn how to play Survivor better at loops. You can also watch Ussylis, who is a great DBD survivor player.

As far as awareness goes, you can also run Spine Chill to help give you an edge with knowing when the killer is coming. If you don't mind being seen as a meanie as well, and you really want to practice chases, you can run Object of Obsession. I know it gets a lot of hate here on the forums, but it is a great perk to run if you're trying to get in chases more so you can get more consistent at them and get better at the game. Just know that you will probably get tunneled with the perk, so you might wanna run DS+Unbreakable with it so you can have a second chance. And also know that until you get better in chases, you're going to die a lot. But it's okay, because it's all part of the learning process.

    Good luck!

You shouldn't blame Killers if they want to end onesided games fast.

Hate to be 'that guy', but the point system says otherwise- and with that same logic, you can argue that you 'can't blame survivors for sitting on gens all game- they just wanted the game to end fast!' The game has more to it's emblem system then just kills for a reason- and that's also why Killers get less points for Moris. Literally the only known motivation for the Entity is that it lets killers do all of this because it likes feeding off the systematic pain and suffering of the survivors, and watching their Hope die out with their memories. That's why the game rewards drawn out games and multiple hooks more then a game that ends at five gens with four hooks. Granted, I don't think this means a game should last for 20+ minutes with things like Forever Freddy, or Impossible Skill Check Doctor- but there is a middle ground there to be had.

  • It was really fun to watch, but I think there were some teams that were less prepared for a tournament then Dead by Daylight is. (Looking at you, Ankle Breakers) A lot of things were really great to see (Fingergun's Nurse was phenomenal, and I gotta agree that Otz was the MVP- his builds and killer choice was so out there compared to the other teams, and he did really well with them. Like his Wraith game? Amazing.)

However, I do agree that the rules were way too one-sided. Survivors had way more point opportunities (and easier point opportunities) then the killer- so a lot of the points seemed to rest more on the killer getting more hooks then the enemy. I don't really agree with how they scored everything, honestly.

I think it just cemented the fact that the game really isn't ready for a true competitive scene. I know a lot of people really want to see it (and I do too), but I think their system is both too broken right now, and too unstable to do it. (For example, this tourny has a point system, while there are others that base it on the survivor killed to escape ratio- because there's no true, definitive 'win' or 'lose' in this game. I could die as a Survivor and still feel like a winner just for getting to finish an Archives challenge, or get a 1k as a killer and still feel like a winner because I t-bagged with a Survivor.) Add that in with all the bugs, and I think it just shows this game shouldn't be taken as competitively as it is in it's current state. I know the Devs have stated that this is a 'Competitive Game', but in that case, the ranks should matter more, there should be a stricter competitive rule list, a distinction between a 'Win' and a 'Loss', and a true 'Casual' mode. As it currently stands, the real Competitive Mode is KYF, while normal Queue is casual. (Which, honestly, I think is fine- but the Devs need to decide if this game is truly Competitive or not, and balance around it. If it's balanced as Competitive, then balance around the top 1% of the 1%. If it's casual, then balance around the average player. Pick one and go with it.

  • It's a common audio problem that happens to more survivors then just Ash. It happens to me consistently on Steve as well. I'm not going to stop playing Steve though- I wanna show off my new P3 face. Just send in a bug report and hope it gets fixed soon.

  • Or, or, you can change how you see yourself playing the game 'casually'.

If you play the game casually and expect a 4k as killer every game, or you expect to escape every game as survivor, or you expect to pip every game, then yes, you do need to either practice more to get better at the game, or you need to play an easier killer with a really good build. (Let's be real, it's easier to play someone like Freddy then Clown, or Hag over Trapper.)

But if you go in not expecting those things and just have fun with it, even a death can be a win, or a 2k can be a win. Really just depends on a game-by-game basis, and what you want your win condition to be sometimes.

    If it's a great SWF team? A 2k or 3k is a total win.

Playing Survivor, and you died but the rest of the team escaped? That's a win in my book.

Really, I think a win is whatever you decide for it to be in this game. At least with the current system- because as a Survivor, a death can still mean a net gain for your team, and as a killer, a 3k can be just as good as a 4k.

  • Definitely Freddy for me. I swear, every time I play against a Freddy, it's a Forever Freddy and I feel miserable for the next 20 minutes.

Top three favorite to face though are Myers, Ghostface, and Pig. I love Stealth Killers, honestly.

Trapper is probably my second least favorite to go against. Not even because he's hard to face. I'm just super unlucky with Trapper. I'm the guy who will step in the bear trap and be stuck there for the next five minutes struggling to get out of the thing. I've been pulled from so many bear traps just from the Trapper walking over from across the map to me and picking me up more times then I can count. I just cannot escape bear traps for the life of me.

  • i honestly don't think this community is really that bad if you stick with base game, and you stick to the fandom side of things. (Like the people who just chill out and like lore.)

If you get into the more balance-heavy, 'competitive', side of things, it gets pretty toxic, and pretty nasty pretty quickly.

Honestly I've had a pretty mixed bad in this game. I've had a lot of great players to play with and against, and a lot of bad. It's kinda whatever to me though.

I will admit though, I do wish that there was some sort of way to promote or demote certain people based on their play style... it does suck when you have the chance of being put against the same toxic person multiple times, but you feel like you can't really report them because they aren't saying anything worth reporting in endgame chat.

  • @TheClownIsKing said:

Why exactly is this considered OP?

Many killers have aura reading add ons, and none of those are considered OP.

Blight still needs to hit the revealed survivors for it to be of any use.

I believe it's because of the distance of the aura-reading itself, along with the rarity and his speed. For example, Oni has to hit someone in his strike, and then his is only 12 meters with Family Crest, and it's an ultra rare. Wraith's is also only 12 meters, and he can only use it while in cloak, and it's a Very Rare add-on. Huntress's only lasts for 5 seconds, requires you to have hit the survivor with your hatchet first, and is also a Very Rare add-on.

Compound 21 lasts for 6 seconds, has a 16 meter radius, is activated by just slamming into the wall (which can be cancelled and put you into a short fatigue, or you can use you sprint to then close the distance), and is currently un-counterable via lockers, as a survivor with their aura hidden to you by a locker will still cause the scoring event to happen.

So yes, for it's rarity it's pretty nasty. I don't think it's OP, but when you pair it with a good build, on a good Blight, on a decent map with something like Canker Horn, Vigo's Journal, or Compound 33, it can get nasty.

  • Gonna be 'that guy', but I don't really mind SWF... the fact is, SWF isn't the problem. Imho the biggest issue is the maps, toxicity, and pip system.

The pip system works against killers in high rank. I think everyone knows the games I'm talking about- you get a SWF who completely throw, you kill all but one at 5 gens left, and you still don't pip. For someone trying to grind the rank system, it's scummy.

The maps are too large for too many killers. The fact is, killers can't put enough pressure in their mid-to late game (which is where killers should be at their strongest) if the map is too big, or if there's too many safe pallets still up.

Toxicity isn't really something that the Devs can effect. Honestly, that's not something they can stop, unless it's harrassment in pre/post game chat or their own Discord/Forums.

Honestly I really don't mind the game where it is (definitely still needs tweaks, but at it's base, I'm cool with it.) I do think that if the Devs really want to push the whole 'competitive' aspect of the game, however, there needs to be better rules in place as to what a win or loss really means, because currently, there isn't one.

A survivor could die with 4 gens left and had killed themselves on hook, but they could leave saying it was a 'win' for them, just because they got an Archive challenge done, or because they got a few pallet stuns on the killer. (Or in my case, I'll consider a game a 'Win' for me if I get Flip-Flop value.)

On the flip side, a Myers could see the game as an absolute win just because he had fun awkwardly staring at Survivors, or menacingly moonwalking towards them- even if he didn't get a single hook (but maybe a few kills to Survivors sacraficing themselves to EGC.)

Personally, I really enjoy that open-ended nature of DBD. It's what makes it fun. I don't lose if I die, and I don't always win if I escape. I don't lose if I get no kills, but I don't always win when I 4k. But I do think that the lack of structure is what leads to so many discrepencies like this.

I don't mind it though. As I said, I enjoy it. I can meme around on killer and not feel bad, or I can go meme around with my buddies in SWF and not feel bad about it either.

  • There is a really steep learning curve to the game, but I promise you it isn't too bad. Watch some good content Creators like OhTofu, Scott Jund, and Otzdarva to learn about how to play the game. I'd also recommend hopping onto the official DBD Discord and getting some more experienced players to help you out in learning the game in a SWF, that way they can help you out with learning the game, especially if you can't convince any of your buddies to join.

The game is super fun, and has gotten much better balance-wise then it used to. Just stick with it, and just try to sit back, relax, and learn from past mistakes in games. Learn from better players like Otz. and you'll get there.

I haven't really seen that, I still see survivors complaining much more. But as for the other points I agree on a lot of them (although I have never seen anyone say nerf WGLF). Both sides have problems and people really need to realize that. It just was the point being made was "who complains more" and I'll tell you the same thing I told them since I see you only have 10 post so I'm assuming you're rather new, survivors all in all complain much more. Its not that killers don't complain at all, because they do, and some of it is real dumb or ignorant (like 4k every game, thats dumb, same with I should escape every game), but its nothing compared to the survivor main playerbase. Again, the survivor handbook is a meme for a reason.

I wouldn't call ace in the hole high risk, its just rng. You always get something so theres not really any risk at all actually. A big problem I see with the design of the game, is that the survivor side has many low-risk/high-reward perks and such while the killer side has a lot of high-risk/low-medium reward things. Considering the killer has to face 16 perks, that really shouldn't be the case at all. I also play both sides, I know the frustration on both ends. But if I want to relax? Survivor hands down.

I promise you, I've been around this community for a hot minute. Just because I've never made an account on the forums before now doesn't mean I haven't been lurking around- both here on the Forums, and over on the Subreddit and Discord. I've been playing since Legion's release with over 1k hours, so this isn't my first rodeo with this argument. It happens constantly, and killers complain just as much as survivors. (It's just that here's generally more Survivor players, so of course it's going to look like they 'complain more'. Just like how Survivors seem more toxic because whenever you play, you only run into 1 killer per game, compared to 4 survivors- so you have a higher chance of finding a toxic survivor player more often.)

I'd argue the risk with Ace in the Hole (With having played so much of it) is that it struggles to be worth running. You risk wasting your time for an item that you could have just brought into a trial, and would have guaranteed your perk slot for better perks (because let's be real, Ace in the Hole is not worth running without Plunderer's), for the slight reward that you're going to get something really good out of a chest. High Risk since you're not going to be running as strong as a build, possibility of high reward with item RNG. And I'd argue that survivor perks are kinda weird with their risk/reward. A lot of survivor perk's usefulness really relies on the team, or on the killer themselves. I think the issue is less with the perks themselves, and more so just how easily they're exploited with comms. In solo queue, it's harder to make those plays that make these perks low risk, high reward, unless you have a competent team, which is always going to be a mixed bag because of the random nature of the game.

Honestly, I really like where the Dev team is going with balancing. Really excited to see what they have up their sleeves next for both sides.

They only complain about tunneling and camping? I don't have the words for the amount your vision is clouded by survivor colored glasses. There were multiple survivor threads asking for the following:

To get rid of DC penalties so they could DC whenever they want like before because "they dont want to wast their time in a match they don't want to play" I saw a poll a day or 2 ago asking for the penalty to stay off I could probably find it again in the first few pages, they complain about how close exit gates can be (valid, but its there), they complain about killers complaining, they complain about hit boxes, they complain killers can close the hatch, they complain that killers are slightly faster than them, they complain they get less BP, they complain they can't win a 1v1 against every single killer in a 4v1 game, they complain that totems are too much to do and they're too hard to find, they complain about NoED (which feels bad, but its really not that strong), they complain about WGLF not being BBQ levels, they complain about getting hit through pallet drops, they complain about Ruin, Enduring, Pop, BBQ (which has so many counters), Add-ons (lots of them), Their own teammates using self-care (which is not a bad perk, people just you is when they shouldn't and its not that hard to understand the math why), teammates in general, why does distortion only have 3 stacks and why cant I get more in the match, Thana (which has a abysmally low effect for its requirements), Mori's, whats the point of wiggling, struggle not being automatic, Blood Warden, Corrupt, Franklins, Losing item add-ons after a match (like killers do, at least they can keep the item), Devour hope, Undying (the perk just came out and its a 50/50 gamble perk), Infectious Fright, M&A, Spirit Fury, unsafe pallets, every killer that is not clown, to equip a perk if they have a specific weakness (like totems and small game), dead zones, getting hit through windows, about how many nerfs they've gotten, slugging (jeez the slugging complaints), indoor maps and gens being hard to find, how much they have to hold M1 (oh so hard) having to adjust their play style for certain killers and builds, why is DS one time use only, why do you want to change the second chance perks, and the list goes on and on, that's just off the top of my head.

Some of these are valid complaints but jeez do they complain. These are all complaints I've seen multiple times over my time in the forums. You want me to tell you who complains more? The answer is a big fat "SURVIVORS" on the side of a 100 page book called the survivor handbook. Its insane.

I mean, I play both sides, but I gotta agree- recently I've been seeing a lot more complaints on Killer's side then survivor's side here on the forums. It seems like there are quite a lot of threads about Hatch and Keys needing a nerf, or how nasty DS+Unbreakable is. I've also seen the normal back and forth as to whether or not Blight needs a buff or not- but that's normal with new killer releases. And a lot of the things you listed survivors complaining about are the same things that Killers complain about on the other side... DS is OP. Sprint Burst is too strong. Iron Will is too powerful. Locker blinds shouldn't exist. BNP are toxic. Keys are OP, Prove Thyself should get nerfed, Stealth is boring to play against, I deserve a 4k every game so Hatch without key at endgame is OP. SWF ruins the game- the list goes on.

Instead of making the argument an Us versus them, Killer versus Survivor demonizing each other, how about we all just agree that there's crappy things to play against on both sides, and both do require skill, they just require skill in different areas. Yes, some killers are more difficult to play mechanically, but they also have the higher pay-off to reward it. Just like how survivors have high risk, high reward perks like Ace in The Hole.

The game has crappy things on both sides, and this Killer vs Survivor argument is dumb. There's entitled, crappy people on both sides of the argument, and splitting the community with dumb labels like that just makes the community more toxic.

  • @guyDDDfieri said:

He's definitely not the worst, that crown goes to wraith or trapper. If they buff his lunge range in lethal rush and changed is first person height he'd be a lot better.

God, I know Trapper is the worst killer in the game- but by God that killer is my kryptonite. I swear it will take me twenty tries to get out of a bear trap.

  • Trust me, you're not doing anything wrong. The game has a really high learning curve to get into, and the matchmaking isn't great.

Honestly, I know this sounds a bit counter-productive, but playing a bit of Survivor might help. Survivor is a lot easier to get into, and will help you at least start to understand the basics of the game without being as punishing. Especially if you can get some more experienced players to help you learn in a SWF or something. I know Survivor isn't really as fun as Killer, but it's not as harsh to learn imho, so you might have an easier time trying to learn some of their basics, and then applying what you know there to some of your killer gameplay.

if he is the same how come I haven't seen a single billy for the past 2weeks,

    when I played 4hours a day?

we all know hes fked, just stop...

Crossplay has also came out since then, and I can tell you as someone who used to play a lot of console- Billy is hard on there. He's just not easy to play with a controller. Possible? Yes. Easy? No.

I think Billy's nerf got blown out of proportion with PTB, but the stuff on live is fine. The add-ons needed to be changed, and I haven't heard any real complaints about the Overheat mechanic in it's current state.

I've been playing about... 3-ish+ hours a night with my friends, at least 4 nights a week, for the past 2+ weeks now- consistently at Rank 1. I haven't seen any more or less Billys since his re-work. If anything, I've actually seen less Leatherfaces.

I've seen mostly just a random assortment of killers. The rarest have definitely been Nurse, Spirit, Hag, Myers, Demo, and Huntress. Plus, with Blight out right now, a lot of people are going to be playing him.

To be honest I didnt know she even had an add on to see blood, I guess most I run into just dont use that, thanks for clarifying.

With Oni I 100% agree that he's not fun from either perspective while being in a pretty good place balance wise

Deathslinger however is probably the killer I enjoy most from both perspectives, so I guess this is where we disagree.

Honestly, I would find Deathslinger more fun to play against, but I think I just have bad luck against them- a lot of them time, when I get them, they do the good ole' 'Proxy camp at 5 gens and tunnel off hook'. Honestly, if it wasn't for that, I don't think it would have left such a foul taste in my mouth- because I do have an alright time playing against them when they don't do that. It's just that the Slingers I face that don't do that are either new Slingers, or very few and far between. So it probably is just me being unlucky.

I've said before with RS.2 to the point that it should be given as an intro message to new forums users to never make it base kit.

It forces survivors towards generators, which is the exact opposite of what you want as a Pig. Making more than 10 of her add-ons remotely viable would do leagues for her.

I did also cover it with previous people pointing it out, but I'd be happy to trade blood for sound and make Father's Glasses give her sound back.

I mean, I've seen that argument a lot- I'm not entirely new to the community. I just never joined the forums before now lol. Personally I just want RS.2 to be basekit to help increase effectiveness of RBT. Survivors being able to pop them off before they have even activated kinda takes away the effectiveness of a lot of (what are at least my personal favourite) add-ons to run on her. If the Survivor doesn't get their helmet off in time and dies, it's one less survivor you have to worry about. More pressure for you, and with another gen going by, that's more pressure as well.

I'd at the very least like to see what it would be like- even if it was just a PTB exploring the idea, and not fully implemented. I do agree that the add-ons need reworked though.

  • I know Ollie already mentioned this, but Spirit can't see Blood while phasing unless she's using an Ultra-Rare add-on. She's entirely sound and scratch mark dependent. (I know there's a bit of a hit box thing too, but it's super hard to notice unless you've played a ton of Spirit imho.) I think the only change Spirit really needs is to the phase start itself- I've always argued for a Phase start animation for Survivors to see. I don't feel like it takes anything really away from her (because man, I don't want to see her get gutted...).

Trapper- I think he should just have one of his bags as base-kit. The fact that he constantly has to waste an add-on slot for a bag to ensure he can get value out of his traps is pretty bad. This would also open up more ways for Trapper to actually be able to utilize other add-on combinations without having to worry about bags.

Wraith- Honestly, I just want a Windstorm add-on to be base kit, for the same reason as Trapper above. It feels like you constantly should be running Windstorm if you want to get good value out of Wraith. Making it base kit would just increase the amount of options he had for other add-on combinations.

    Hillbilly- I think he's great as-is.

Hag- I personally think Hag is fine as-is. You can counter traps as a Survivor, especially ones under hook. I think if anything should be changed about her, it's Rusty Shackles- that add-on is pretty nasty to play against. Nothing else really needs to be touch imho.

Nurse- I will forever say that I miss old base-kit Nurse. I honestly still haven't gotten over her rework.

Myers- ...Gotta disagree here. As someone who's played a lot of Myers, I would usually only use Tombstones on players that were already fully stalked, since they had less value to me. If anything, he needs to be able to stalk a bit faster at base, or be able to reset the stalk amount on Survivors. Currently, his power destroys his early game with trying to get out of Tier 1, but can also be entirely useless in late game thanks to Survivors being dry from Stalk. Maybe something along the lines of 'after all survivors have been fully stalked, everyone gets reset back to half'? Something to give him the same potential as a killer like Oni.

Doctor- Agreed. I'm also excited for this boi to get a graphics update- his shock hand honestly looks like something straight out of the first Bioshock game to me lol.

Huntress- Also agreed, but people have been complaining about hitboxes in this game for a while. I'm hoping the better hit detection system will help this. I'm also excited for her add-on rework- I would hope that they at least make it so Iridescent Head doesn't stack with Infantry Belt.

Bubba- I think the boi is pretty good in his current state honestly. The Devs did a good job with his re-work.

Nightmare- Honestly, I just want his lunge animation changed a bit. I think he's the one killer where when I'm playing against him, I'm constantly questioning whether he actually should have hit me or not because of his lunge.

Pig- A stereotypical request, but man I want Ruleset No. 2 to be base kit with some add-on reworks. I just think it would help increase her pressure enough to help her really get the ball rolling to solidify her a bit better as a mid-tier killer. Currently she just sits as a 'Jack of all trades, master of none', where she just gets pushed around way too easily.

Clown- Honestly, I've never played Clown. So I'm not in a good position to say what he should or should not have changed about him. I'll leave that to people who actually play him.

    Spirit- (See my first paragraph.)

Ghostface- Honestly, I just want a more consistent detection system (since his current one is very inconsistent on both sides), and add-on reworks.

Demogorgan- Add-on reworks. His best add-on is a brown one. That's depressing.

Oni- I don't mind Infectious working with the Kanabo. I don't think he should get nerfed or buffed.

Deathslinger- Same with Oni. I don't think either of them are particularly fun to play as or against, but I don't think their kits should be entirely destroyed either just to make them more 'fun'- and I'm not really sure of any way their kits could be changed to make them more fun to play against without just that happening.

PH- I haven't played as or against him enough to really give a good idea on what I think should be done to him.

Just my thoughts. Any killer not listed are ones I agree with you on and had nothing more to say.

  • @DetailedDetriment said:

They need to remove the offerings to control the hatch spawn. That's some real bullshit.

Agreed. Hatch being random is what kept it balanced imho, and why I've always been okay with it- it was a fifty-fifty in whether a Survivor or Killer could get it. (A fifty-fifty that was kinda killer sided too, seeing as though most killers move faster then survivors at base.)

I hate that either side can control where Hatch Spawns. Especially with how easy it is to obtain those offerings.

  • I will kill myself before I leave a survivor to die. I don't care if it's a baby Dwight or a No0b3 wannabe Nea. Unless there is absolutely no way I can save without ensuring they can get out, or they were toxic to me earlier in the match (intentionally fast vaulting the window over and over again because I wouldn't give them the chest, for example).
