This is happening to a lot of people and not refunding the bloodpoints. If you look at the other people reporting this, all the posts are getting declined by mods. I just went ahead and emailed BHVR myself since this bug isn’t going to get relayed to them otherwise.

this is my favorite game but with this thrill of the hunt meta i’m just going to find something else to play until it gets fixed. i try to be a good sport about how the other side plays but this is just miserable to go against. i’m not sure if the event is even worth it :(

This same thing happened to me with the Alucard skin. I couldn’t heal or be healed by certain teammates but I kept getting skill check pop ups even after I tried to heal.

Same thing happened to me. Nobody on our team could unhook at all. This happened on multiple games with multiple maps and multiple killers. I’m playing on PS5.

I’m also wondering how this will affect killer queue times on 2v8. To me it feels like BHVR killed their event a few days early because I don’t know a single survivor (including myself) that was still playing 2v8 except to get the bloodpoint bonus. It’s gotten quite boring and repetitive at this point as survivor but the BP bonus kept us. Going back to 1v4 a few days earlier than planned I suppose :-)

I see what you mean, thanks. How could this be addressed then if they were to bring the mode back in the future? Insta-cage downed survivors maybe?

respectfully i disagree; it’s not fair that distortion users are currently able to hide all game while their teammates die off because of their refusal to take chase equally and they reap the benefits of doing nothing for the team

have they said anything about if it hides it from your teammates too in lobby? it’s exciting to me to see my friends progress and i love showing off my prestige to them too so we can cheer each other on so it would be a bummer for that to be taken away :(

every time i see a quentin or teddy bear trapper my heart fills with joy :-) so cute!!! i also have a soft spot for any killer/survivor my friends normally play 🫶

as a survivor main i hope they make it to where you gain tokens in chase rather than being in the killers terror radius because in its current state it encourages hiding and hurts teammates :(

i’ve only played survivor but i’ve had so many troll teammates too :( it seems like in 1/3rd of my games im getting at least one teammate that trolls and tries to get everyone killed (ie dropping every pallet upon spawning in and repeatedly fast vaulting near teammates). i haven’t really had any problems with killers; it’s just bad teammates driving me away from the game mode.

Bubba. Always an entire game of camping, tunneling, and slugging. Basement trapper is pretty grueling too.

at the end of the day bhvr isn’t going to encourage lobby dodging or gut their game by punishing people for playing with their friends

If you’re lobby dodging over these numbers when things are still in your favor it’s genuinely a skill issue at that point
