my favorite game… but after the “mmr” which is really just escapes/kills games are terrible. I’ll return if they ever fix it.. but I think they’ll just keep it. Most people don’t even realize how the mmr works because the grade system tricks them into thinking nothing really changed

thats pretty much it, they should act more of like an overlay than a separate skin.
Like a bucket that is poured over your clothes instead of the og bloody outfit. Allowing us to bloody the clothing of our choice would make prestiging actually worth it

The old emblem system encouraged interesting and risky gameplay the new MMR system Only takes into account whether you killed or survived. Survivor who hid and creeped around the map all game and survived =a win. A survivor who looped the killer for a few gens and pallet stunned a few times and then gets caught and face camped till death= loss. Watch the videos, watch the data mining, he’ll watch the Q&A with behavior that is really how the MMR is. They trick everyone with the blood point reward system making everyone think that nothing has changed and hide your mmr. What are we working towards? A grade that resets every month just as a prize for winning that anyone who play the game enough can achieve

Idk I can’t believe the mmr is truly based on whether you kill or survive. The old emblem system was better and didn’t encourage selfish gameplay. Then they trick everyone with the bp rewards grade system and most people think that nothing changed. Well now my games are camping tunneling and other players who won’t save me and creep around the map. Used to be my favorite game and I’ve stopped. Hoping the game goes downhill to encourage the developers to change it back but i doubt it and they just keep pumping out cosmetics( which I’ll admit are some of the best lately ) and I’ll try to move on to other games

You know the mmr system doesn’t work when they hide it. Show us our mmr and who we are teamed with and matched against.
The new “grade” system is just a participation award for just playing. And everyone thinks this is the “rank” which is incredibly irritating. Listening to survivors brag about getting to red rank … you never made and maintained rank one before the new system and you think you made it now? When you can’t depip after making it to a new grade? Yeah ok
i used to almost always get to rank one unless I had a really buys month with projects or events. And I actually had the same few killers (cross play was on) and saw many of the same survivors
now I’m being matched with players hiding and immediately throwing pallets… killers who can’t land a hit on me and tunnel/camp
when I play swf we end up just destroying the killer… idk how anyone plays killer… think that’s why they all camp and tunnel
what happened to this game?
picked it back up after a two month break for the new cosmetics in the rift but I’m not even going to bother working towards it.
please bring back old rank system

I mean, I have already seen one very stupid take from this Content Creator. So they either used this Clip I have seen to lie about an issue which is no issue (healing Builds) or they were not aware of it. Either of those does not really want me to watch videos which most likely have an opinion I get on the Forums already for free.

Would be great, maybe his bias will get less over time.
But, I am just curious - what would you do if you are able to see your MMR and see that you are at a low MMR? The excuse that the game becomes hard at high MMR (as it should be) would not count anymore.
Why hide rank, unless it’s because it’s not working. Show the rank /mmr. Let people know they suck… instead of boosting them with a false sense of accomplishment with the grade system

i would like to know if the player base has gone down. Obviously it’s a Halloween and October so the numbers wont show right now… but this new mmr system really sucks. I got the witch outfit but I’m not even going to play for the elodi, and that’s something I was so excited about when I first saw the contest

So I made a post about mmr but it was almost instantly closed. I’ve been playing forever, was always rank 1 or in reds and I’m matched with brand new players throwing down pallets hiding in corners. I used bond and just watched everyone do nothing. Killers can’t hit me and they all use noed and camp. Idk what’s going on but I’m done. Also got into a party chat with someone telling me wow we have rainbow ranks and trying to boss me around when they were absolutely terrible. The new rank system … or should I say grade system is seriously a participation award for just playing. Anyone can get to it but everyone thinks these are real ranks. If you could never hit and maintain rank one with the old system you sure as heck aren’t a “rank” one now. Please go back to old system and stop giving these dumb survivors even more of a boosted ego

Just stop playing and there will be no matches or really long waits. Then they will fix it. No game without killers

Haven’t played in a few months but my friend showed me the witch outfit and Elodies contest winner outfit.. so I got on finally. the witch one was pretty easy to get but I’m not going to even bother playing for elodies.. I’m done unless they bring back the old rank system. I used to be rank one - three but I’m getting brand new players throwing pallets down, killers who can’t hit me and run noed and camp, and boosted players bragging about being red rank when it’s a grade and you can’t depip anymore after you hit a certain grade… so just more opportunity for survivors to be boosted and brag. It is Absolutely a participation award, literally if you play enough anyone can get to it

It’s because that’s how you have to play killer now. Too many surv buffs too msny killer nerfs and the mmr system. Not sure how I can even get into a game … who is actually playing killer?
