for people who are not good thinking or doing math...
if 1 generator gets repaired in 80 seconds (for 1 survivor) they need 158 seconds (resting 1 sec each to make just 99%), that equivalences to 2.63 minutes + alpha (moving time from generator to generator * 2)
if 2 person repairs the gen is equal to 44.44 gen each, but thinking that 1 do another gen, it will take a little less than 158 seconds (2.6 minutes) + alpha (moving time which includes 2 people meeting each other and all survivors running from generator to generator * 3)
if is repaired by 3 members they need 161.65 seconds (2.8 minutes) + alpha (moving time as meeting time, and moving together *5)
average running time will take likely 15 seconds approximated
if no one saves the hooked one, with no ruin, assuming they do only generators and find gens in average 15 seconds to do 5 gens 99%.
1man/gen = approx 3.2 minutes
2man/gen = approx 3.4 minutes
3man/gen = approx 4 minutes
if one goes for the save, with no ruin, assuming the 2 others do gens.
1man/gen = approx 4.7 minutes
2man/gen = approx 4.9 minutes
if 2 goes for the save, with no ruin.
1man/gen = approx 7.9 minutes
time from 1st hook to sacrifice time = 2 minutes.
for pre-made 4 man, (in case the killer camp)
if they do 99% of gens to force the killer a free unhook like one said..
now having the time let's take the fastest one for all cases.
if no one go for the save.
1man/gen = they can do approx 3.5 generators.
if 1 goes for the save.
1man/gen = 2.5 generators.
if 2 go for the save.
1man/gen = can do 1.5 generators.
that's good right? but remember, this is without ruin.
now.. let's think.. how much last a chase?
1 second? 2 second? are you that bad? sorry did not realize that part.
since everyone is afraid of SWF, lets assume the killer finding a survivor, chasing him and hooking him takes more than 1 minute. after more than 1 min you had more time to make more gens right? are you sure that you are going to wait with all gens in 99% just because there is a chance of the killer being a camper? instead of completing all gens and open the exit gate so your friend can escape?
now lets think that your friend is so bad that he got caught in less than 1 min, are you sure that you are going to let your friend die? and that are you never gonna miss a skill check right? because nowadays everyone run ruin, and having ruin makes you be afraid of the killer kicking your precious generator that you spent more than 80 seconds to do, and if one goes to find the ruin totem means less generators running, and having one survivor running for the save, your team just did approx 1 gen to 99%, also making it only 99% there are chances of the killer kicking the generator after the sacrifice or catching another survivor after it, so congratulations, now only 1 can escape trough the hatch if he/she do not get caught! wow that's an useless team.
also now I can see the level of other countries game play. If camping is a low rank issue, why so afraid of this idea? I assume everyone who read this post is a professional killer or not? are you all campers? LOL
another fact, do you all know how much time last an average match? 4 min? cause you can do 5 gens in less than 4 min? so you are all professional gen rushers right? this is not an official value but I can say that it takes about 10 minutes, why do you think it takes 10 minutes? are you sure you all will wait 10 minutes with all gens in 99% just in case?
a free unhook? pff, so now no ones tunnels? hahahaha are you all afraid of letting 1 get unhooked?
this is an idea, idea can change, what about if I say that if one survivor is near and he/she is in chase, the killer do not lose points because is a reasonable way for being there? (I mean being in a chase ignores the range with the hooked one).
I think that having all those post points but no skill in game is the real issue here.
have a nice day :)

@dehitay hahaha thank you for sharing your opinion, I know there are some occasions where the killer must camp, and is okay to do, and sometimes is fun to do, just thought that camping the first survivor you downed ruins the game experience of that survivor, because it leads to a guaranteed depip even more if there are no gens done (meaning he did nothing but run), I just wanted to make a better community posting an idea but I think that "I DO NOT LIKE THIS IDEA" side is bigger. I assume that the people who dislikes it, loves to being camped as survivor and loves to get teabagged as killer/survivor since killer can teabag too hahaha.
-
@Orion, sir please think or use your brain, if the killer do not camp, no need to make 99%. and if that is a tactic, teabagging is a strategy too, you make the killer chase you instead
and.. do you think you are gonna be able to make all gens 99%?
or are you telling me you are gonna wait with all gens 99% till the end of the match because the killer have a possibility of being a camper?...

@George_Soros from Korea, playing as Hillbilly hahahaha that's why I got matches from all sides, Korea is in the middle. :(
-
@George_Soros, thank you for sharing your thoughts and nice Wraith tip I think is a great idea, but here in Asia, killers whose do not fly and can only walk are underrated :( I mean, every killer that cannot blink is underrated. The reason is because here survivors and killers who play the game, do not play to enjoy, they play to win because that match is his/her life. They think that if they cannot catch all 4 players playing as killer they do not deserve to live another day, same for survivors, in other words they are super salty and try hard. (I mean is impossible to get 4 kills with Wraith even tunneling and camping nowadays). So to get 4 kills the killer must be Nurse hiding his 3rd blink, so from 10 matches you play as survivor here in Asia the killer will be 7 times Nurse, 1 as Spirit, and the other 2 was Legion and Hillbilly but Legion users disappeared after the nerf.
also there is a characteristic for every country from 4~1 rank.
if the killer is Japanese, 9 of 10 matches will be a 3 blink nurse, the rest are Spirit users.
if the killer is Chinese, 7 of 10 matches will be Legion (before patch) and the rest are Nurses.
if the killer is Korean, 5 of 10 matches will be Hillbilly, the rest will be Nurse, Huntress, Spirit, Plague or Freddy.
Where did I get this data? Got 2k+ hours of gameplay.. and is hard to see Bubba's face.. Imagine rank 15 survivors bullying Hag, Wraith and Bubba, something is wrong in Asia.
I miss Myers.. :(
Of course there are some players playing other killers but that's the average killer you find in matches.

sorry guys but it was decisive or defensive? I am confused now..

Why does everyone always jump to NOED when people talk about nerfing perks? NOED is perfectly balanced. Break totems, no NOED. It's that simple. People say it rewards bad killer game play, but that's just not true. What it does is punish bad survivor game play. Totems are an objective. They're meant to be broken, not completely ignored. When survivors start breaking totems, and NOED stops working, killers will stop using NOED. It's that simple guys.
As for the DS rework, I personally love it. It's definitely balanced now, and just punishes for actively tunneling off the hook. I never did that anyway, so the new DS won't bother me at all. The only time it's going to be an issue is end game. If someone has DS end game, it's almost a guaranteed escape. I think the perk should de-activate if the exit gates are opened, because at that point there is zero counter play. But that's just my opinion.
The reason NOED gets mentioned with DS change is because DS is a second chance perk and NOED too, yeah NOED can be countered by cleansing all the totems, and DS by dropping the survivor, so was the same, also the hooks spawns like nearby so was possible to counter DS.. also so many times people get caught in front of a hook.. if you down a survivor at the corner of the map you can make a choice, to pick the survivor up or leave him/her there, also before that, you had an option to hit the survivor when is there or wait for him to be near a hook, thats all strategy, now let's start talking about NOED, you have to find all those 5 totems, I figured that totems location changed so now is more difficult to find the totems, also if the survivors do not cleanse them all, the killer gets movement speed buff also with the option to down survivors in one hit, and they do not have to make a skill check to use the perk, in case 4 gens are done just simply wait.. it would be fair if killer have to success a skill check in order to activate NOED like if you miss DS you get no second chance.

I'll never understand how people complain about their second chance not being good enough. I'd like to remind you that the base game works like this: the killer runs after you, smacks you twice and then hooks you. If you are downed, you deserve to sit on a hook.
I wonder why they changed the survivor's second chance perk.. maybe because killers like you complained about that? how ironic.. right? :D

60 seconds and 2 hooks and an average chase is more than enough to pop 3 generators, and start and be partially through 4 and 5 if the Killer decides to camp you as a slug for the time.
Its still a powerful perk, it just doesn't deny Killers chance to win by ruining the most important time (early stage) with just a free out of jail card that rewards you for failing.
only new killers camps, but I'm not talking about camping, you cannot use make your choice camping or that changed too?

Who is complaining about the second chance? I'm saying is a beautiful change.
Just want to hear you after NOED gets nerfed, and a survivor tells you: I'll never understand how people complain about their second chance not being good enough. I'd like to remind you that the base game works like this: the killer runs after a survivor, he has to smack the survivor twice but if the gens get done and the door gets open and if you did not caught anyone, you deserve to sit on a corner and cry. That's the logic pig main killer? ;)

DS is gutted?
It's just another counter to camping and tunneling which is the only power a low tier killer has over the survivors.
I'm talking about the perks letting you sprint away with no skill involved.
If killers had a sprint burst perk, imagine the outcry.
counter to camping and tunneling? how? oh because now d-strike only works after being unhooked just for 60 seconds? you think good survivors are gonna be caught again in those 60 seconds? if killers tunnels even with borrowed time.. why not tunneling the one with decisive strike? you just have to wait 60 sec to not get stunned :)

This has nothing to do with exhaustion and is more of a Legion problem that needs to be addressed.uhm okey sir of course is a Legion problem I am talking about the Legion but why has nothing to do with exhaustion? I am asking why there is a killer that can catch you because of his power that makes him/her sprint super fast and do not suffer exhaustion while survivors with Sprint Burst or Lithe, Balance Landing only can sprint during 3 seconds and with 40-60 seconds of cool-down that only regenerates when you are not sprinting?
I see you are a killer main, so maybe you use super well the Nurse, but was easy from beginning? Did you get all 4 sacrifices in every match since the first time you used her? if yes good for you and if not why no? we all know that she is super OP.. (if you know to use her is op..) there is a mechanism that after she blinks she looks the ground stunned for x seconds, that makes her hard to use if you are new in the game, even a ghost gets stunned after using her ability and has to look the ground but the Legion? he sprints vaults pallets and windows, has a base speed of 110% and no long punishment for use of his/her ability. Hill Billy the same as the Nurse, he is op, he can chainsaw you and get you down with 1 hit, but he gets punished if he hits the wall stunning him for maybe 2 seconds and is not that simple to control the chainsaw if you are new, that makes the game a little balanced.. at least survivor can keep running.. maybe if he has a little exhaustion to make some distance will be playable.
