gonna be honest I’m just not a fan of having to interact with the void thing I didn’t play the game last October but it just feels like I’m throwing the game when I’m running around there
-
honestly the whole void thing just feels like a waste of time outside of doing the challenges
-
I don’t really see it as an immediate issue it’s not like the olden days where someone quitting in the loading screen would result in 3 people loading into the match
-
Official smoke bombs could be interesting as a stealth item maybe even have the zone as an aura blocker
-
outside of situations where you can’t see him at loops I never understood complaints about chucky every version of him was perfectly fine to play against
-
Gen perks are absolutely boring and I hope they consider just not releasing anymore for either sides
-
I’m glad they’ve never shy’d away from more risqué looking cosmetics because it would honestly be strange if the game was more pg13 in those regards
-
the first player noted is usually the one pretty much throwing the match trying to get flashlight saves and is why we lose
-
this is definitely an issue with some players you really should learn how to play without exhaustion perks
-
honestly I don’t bother with team saving anymore since I usually just get left behind to die etc people rarely play as a team anymore
-
honestly not much more they could do I mean hell the game has been on game pass since early 2020? If I remember so that’s already brought in its players
-
it’s an issue with the design of the game I feel like the only way you’d truly get gen perks to stop being meta is if they reworked the game from the ground up
-
as someone who has always been bad at it
It’s very well possible still just not as well against certain killer designs/maps
-
it would be nice if no mither rewarded extra bloodpoints since it’s basically hardcore dbd
-
there was definitely an issue with perk designs for a little bit there where a perk needed 50000 steps just to use it
“Sacrifice a cow into the sun and read the entire English dictionary for 2.5 seconds of aura”
-
you don’t really use it to get 5 stacks
that’s something that only really happens if you play against idiots
-
I really liked using it just for the chest speed boost when this nerf happened they should’ve buffed plunderers with a speed boost
-
the combo died after the Billy overheat nerf tbh That was almost the stereotypical hillbilly build for awhile
-
spine chill
Nerfed into dumpster tier if we are counting perk changes
tbh I don’t see lithe that much anymore
-
when it comes to unpopular picks I’ve always enjoyed playing against legion I guess it’s a the killer you main thing since I’ve been a legion main since 2020
-
I want a really bad looking dbd josh hutcherson because they couldn’t get the right to use his face or something

who in their right mind plays a game for 1k hours in order to actually be able to play the game? (between unlocking characters and perks - but also between learning how to even play; from countering specific killers and builds to learning the different maps etc. it takes way too long.)
hey now I’ve put 3000+ in and I still don’t know how to counter absolutely everything in the game
Now a days taking a break for like half a year results in you basically playing a different game
-
nerfing killers based on speed is a bad idea imo

I actually wrote this in the player survey for the question ‘would you recommend to friends etc’ I said I can’t in this current state of the game recommend the game to newer players because the learning curve would be far, far too steep.
When I first joined the game, the many perks and killer powers and add ons , strategies (don’t cleanse against plague, don’t heal against legion etc) and countless do’s and dont’s in terms of ‘etiquette’, etc was super difficult to grasp. The actual difficult in things like looping for example are things I still find difficult but have learnt to somewhat counteract it in other ways (with varying degrees of success).
I can explain to them the concept that look, there are these things called generators and you have to fix them. If you’re a killer, you’ll want to stop them being progressed. There are perks and items and powers that can increase or decrease and can be frustrating but that is the strategy element.
But the overwhelming number of auras and the fact that things like slugging exist (I’m not commenting here as to if it should or shouldn’t or that I don’t understand why some feel it is ‘needed’, but the fact is it does) means I wouldn’t want my friends not in the game to experience these without having to drop thousands of hours (and more difficult hours than my time in the game).
The paradox here being that my favourite game no question is the one that I can’t recommend (in its current guise anyway) to others even though I’m always talking about it to them.
honestly this I started playing in 2019 like a month after plague came out and the game was definitely more simplistic to learn back then despite there being more super op stuff back then
-
the grind is still horrible and not new player friendly at all
the game in general is not new player friendly
let’s be real here behaviour does have a reputation of not being the greatest devs among casual players that have never tried dbd
-
the game would be way better without them the game isn’t meant for designs with pre determined conditions imo
Like bringing the best build/killer on a certain map
-
the reason she probably hasn’t gotten many is the licensed character curse
I sometimes forget she counts as a licensed character lol

The old anniversary menu music which was a dbdified happy birthday
Whoops misread the post this said lobby music lol
-
unironically an elder scrolls chapter with sheogorath as the killer
WABBAJACK!
-
being stalked by a ghostface I physically can’t see thanks to the fog is very fair and balanced
Killers with built in tracking are definitely balanced in lights out of course
Also getting constantly grabbed off of gens is just boring
-
moot point before the post was even posted
What about people who bought the chapter for Renato and thalita I’m sure they are satisfied with the product they bought?

That's the one that let's her see when survivors vomit correct?
Yes it was even nerfed in the past but it’s still too much imo
-
realistically the only thing that should get a change on plague is black incense her kit is completely fine

NOED flashbacks?
didn’t think the Noed trauma was strong still lol
-
people still really hate the campy playstyle like 98% of hag players use and especially the rusty shackles add on
-
honestly for some killers simply surviving in a chase for more than 30 seconds is bad
-
I forgot how it’s done properly but the moment you throw a flashbang actually makes you immune to tombstone for like a millisecond
I saw it on twitter before
-
after playing a bit more I seriously don’t understand why they disabled hud icons going back to old dead by daylight for a side mode wasnt a good idea
-
honestly my complaints about the game now are just teammates being very bad at the game obviously I can understand some mistakes given I’m average mmr but it’s ridiculous sometimes lol
-
I feel like they could do a proper side stealth gameplay mode but doing it this way just doesn’t work tbh
-

Without updates the game dies. But the amount of new killers/survivors can see a decrease per year. The current model was too aggressive from the start. They should turn a couple chapters into dedicated health/balanced updates.
there’s something about the past few chapters that just felt like it was done out of necessity and not necessarily a woo we made a new chapter
Lara for example just felt like a here you go we got the license dump
-
yeah I’m just gonna play this for the event items and not touch it again I assume everyone else has the same idea so I expect the queue times to be trash after 2 days
-
after playing 2 games why would I use the candle sticks they feel like a downside
-
these long running games do have to stop eventually rainbow six siege is finally switching to only having 2 operators a year for example
-
are perks still disabled in this mode is my issue with these side modes if they keep doing them without perks the gameplay is absolutely boring as survivor
-
honestly the outrage is from a small amount of people there’s more skull merchant and twins haters than enjoyers
-
Unless it’s like an extra 15 thousand I’m just not gonna use Moris

Has she? Maybe it's because I joined when Sadako released, but I see hag as… Kind of existing? Especially after the removal of lightburning her traps to just wiping them.
yeah she’s always been one of those killers that’s powerful and rare and awful to play but also awful to play against it’s like artist

Sweats in Sadako main
Jokes aside, it's a worrying trend. If enough people realize that throwing on hook means an eventual nerf, they'll do it, even if it's a small part of the community.
Heck, I've had people do the exact thing people do against SM (pointing at hooks, giving up, throwing on first hook) when playing as Hag, who I barely play.in general hag has been a hated killer since her inception so that doesn’t really surprise me
-
these changes were definitely done to tide over complaints until a rework comes
not the first time they’ve done this I think
