yes im extremely excited!!!! im not even the biggest Castlevania fan, but this ptb was the first one i ever got to experience and play for myself...and it was so much fun!!! i already have my auric cells ready im so excited :D!!!!!!!!!
the only thing im hoping......is that ill find a drac that will let me pet wolfy 😔 i never got a chance in ptb i was so sad

His suggestion was that the items survivors buy with bloodpoints should proc in a random chest during a trial..? So they may not find their items, another survivor can, and they have to waste time (which obviously makes the game much easier for killer) to potentially encounter one of those two outcomes. Otzdarva has awful takes on survivor issues. My god.
yeah when i read that, i was so surprised it actually came from Otzdarva, and not just your average forum killer main...such a ridiculous suggestion that only serves to waste time, just so the killer has an easier time winning.
if you've bought an item with bloodpoints, you've already earned that item and shouldn't have to waste time looking for it. its like a killer having to go find their add ons somewhere in the map before they can use them…makes absolutely no sense. imo Otz often has pretty weird takes, and many people seem to just eat it up without question.

nah that doesn't really look like helping the killer imo...nancy either had to unhook you or just let you die, i kinda doubt she did that with malicious intent, but ofc i dont know for sure. just looks to me like she didnt really know what else to do in that situation lol

As you say you would surrender at 2...best way to do that is do the gens and get caught which essentially gives the other survivor the pitty escape. The option to end it is there. If there are 2 survivors left and there are 2 gens left and neither survivor is willing to do the gens then that's an acknowledgement they lost the match but also want to win regardless. they only hang in for the hatch which results in slugging the last 2 to give the killer a chance to find it and close it before a survivor does. You are right, the stalling is the symptom, the disease is the hatch. They want to win, they know they can't win so instead of conceding the match they stall. Get rid of the hatch or give survivors a set time to get gens done. If they fail to do them it's a loss, move on to next match. Eliminates stalling, eliminates the need to slug and survivors can finally accept the match for what it is at that point....a loss.
ive been in this situation so many times, i always just stay on gens until the killer finds me, hoping they will hook me and the other survivor has a chance to get hatch...and 90% of the time, the killer leaves me slugged to find the other survivor, and we both die anyway.
not blaming the killer at all of course, its fine to want the 4k... just pointing out that doing this doesn't really give the other survivor the pity escape most of the time.

actually its fine because uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh me run to yellow throw pallet. so yeah doesn't need any changes! so glad we can all agree that this perk is fine and doesn't need to be nerfed at all

i just hope Springtrap will be the killer and not Freddy himself or something, Springtrap's design is so creepy and i actually think hes a perfect fit for dbd!!
also maybe it's silly, but im really hoping we'll eventually get Dreadbear as a halloween cosmetic...i know there's so many other popular characters to choose for cosmetics, i just think it'd be so cool to see him in another game :D

damn…i was looking forward to going back to normal dbd with normal queue times :') i genuinely am glad people love it so much and im happy for you guys, people have been waiting for this mode for so long and clearly its popular...but man im just so bored of it, especially on the survivor side😭 im not trying to be a party pooper or anything, but i was so ready for it to end today lol

i really wish they'd do this, i have a ton of green keys and useless add ons, flashlights i never use unless im gifting them to people and sooo many brown offerings that are just piling up…this would be such a great change!! please devs😔💔🙏

The main point was to have attention and not get ignored because i wanted them to acknowledge my issiue, so i know it will be fixed.
Looking rational was not my concern. Last time i was not being as "wordy" and just simply stated my bug, i got ignored. However now i got a direct response from peanits in this thread and im just waiting on the fix.
You are totally right though, usually it should be the other way around where constructive feedback is welcomed and respected and where posts with a certain tone to it tend to be taken less seriously.alright then, hopefully this gets fixed for you soon :))

They are not trying to help they are trying to make me look stupid so the chance it gets fixed is even smaller because now the devs can say "user error" when claims like these from people that dont know the situation are made.

i'd guess this issue will be fixed within the next week, and this entire thread will have done nothing but make you look completely irrational... i get that you're frustrated, but i dont see the point in you even continuing this thread if you're just going to assume the worst of anyone trying to help you

im so sorry you have to go through the horrible ordeal of clicking away a popup every time you open the game, it sucks but it will likely be fixed soon and is not that big of a deal. no need to be so hostile and passive aggressive to people over a slight inconvenience

lmao right, i had a jeff last night just crouch around watching me do gens, i even tried to give him my toolbox so maybe he would actually do something...he ended up leaving me to die on my first cage while the rest of my team dropped like flies lol :') part of the problem is the free weekend going on, there's a lot of new players right now…
dont worry tho, ive played my fair share of survivor and still miss my skill checks sometimes :P

As a killer main, (I'm actually writing this while waiting for my next match lol). It's not on the killers to escape… its on the survivors.. They need to be able to complete the gens, just like normal.. if one person can keep the killers attentions, then the rest have a job to do, while that person does their job. no matter what…. atleast 1 gen should always be getting worked on, theres 12 of em ffs lol… The game mode is actually balanced, when survivors are focused and get their work done properly, theres nothing stopping them from all escaping in less than 5 minutes of the trial starting.

i agree with you, but i didnt say its on the killers. i was just disagreeing with that person that killers tunnelling in this mode means they will lose the match every time.
one person cant keep both of the killers attention the entire time though, chases against 2 killers dont tend to last very long in most cases, and in my experience many survivors just arent doing gens lol. again not the killers fault, just saying i can do my best to help the team, be useful and fufill my role, and it doesn't matter if my teammates arent doing the same.

ive actually had quite a few games where a survivor gets tunneled, and the killers still wipe the floor with us. your experience isnt the only one that matters, and people aren't sweaty losers for giving their genuine feedback about the mode...the devs need to hear this feedback so when 2v8 comes back again, they can make improvements and changes

i play on xbox and i second this!! i actually came here to see if anyone else was talking about the xbox servers being down...i haven't had as much time as id like to get on dbd and get all the rewards, so i was super disappointed to find that i cant even play right now to get them last minute.
i appreciate the bloodpoints they gave us to compensate, but it would really be nice if we had even just one extra day of the event :') ive really enjoyed it for the most part and im sad to see it about to end, even more sad that we cant enjoy the last day of it </3

i get that people think hes overtuned, thats understandable, but ill always see giving up on hook because you dont like the killer as selfish and dumb...anyway i loved billy before and i love billy now, has nothing to do with his power or anything tbh i just think hes cute :]

i usually say gg whether i win or lose just to be friendly and end things on a good note no matter how the match went... but after reading this thread and the mentality so many of you seem to have, i think ill just stop entirely. you'll complain about toxicity, you'll complain about people being nice, you'll complain about 2 letters in an end game chat just because you lost, what is even the point in trying to interact with most people in this community at all? when i get "stomped" and someone says gg to me, i just say gg back and move on like a normal person, instead of expecting my opponents to read my mind and know im offended over losing in a video game. its basic sportsmanship to say good game, but go ahead and keep taking literally every little thing in this game personally, im sure you'll have a great time.

i really hope we do, ive been excited for this event for awhile and it sucks that not only can we not play it, but we dont even know when we'll be able to. its almost 10pm for me and no updates at all... hopefully they will extend the event, and give us bp or shards or something at least :')

I wouldn't expect an eta. Patches for console have to pass certification with the platform. It will probably drop first, then be announced that it is dropped on their socials.

i used to play a lot of solo queue, not as much recently for the reasons you listed and more, but i completely get where you're coming from...matches have felt miserable lately. i still get some fun out of solos by going into the match assuming ill probably die, and just trying to help my team as much as possible before that happens. being altruistic and going for sabo saves, taking protection hits, and doing my best to make sure the other survivors escape makes the game a bit more fun for me :D
