My boyfriend and I got the Dwight crow almost immediately when he did it on his dual screen PC, while watching Cahlaflour on twitch. We had the stream on one screen, and the shop open and ready to redeem on the other. When she posted the full codes I read the code out to him (he is a VERY slow typer, not speedy in any way) we got it, back to back on my account then his right after.
EXTRA TIPS TO CONSIDER:
Stream Delay- Use the fastest PC connection you have. I tried on my laptop for a while and didn't realize I had a 3-4 second stream delay until BF pulled it on his desktop! That's a LOT of time lost.
Have help- when we both were trying solo to get codes by reading them and typing, we weren't fast enough (I consider myself a fast typer). Me reading the code out to BF saved a LOT of time without us realizing it.

I agree. The community's IQ drops by about 100 points when NOED comes up.
It's not even something that needs to be cleansed beforehand. Totem spots don't suddenly become elite when it's a NOED totem.
It hasn't been nerfed or reworked because it's not as impactful as many believe it is. YOU might get downed because of NOED, but the overall survival rate of the trial isn't overly impacted by it. A killer's loadout is critical, and running with 3 perks until endgame is a severe handicap vs 4 perks.
Do you think a killer might do better when the gens are up with...I don't know...perks? The "bad killers run NOED" talking point is asinine. Inexperienced killers typically run NOED until they realize there are far better perks to use. And a good, experienced killer using NOED will often have an entire build centered around endgame. It may look like they're throwing, but they're not.
NOED honestly is more of a mind game IMO than it is a good perk. Why?
"The community's IQ drops by about 100 points when NOED comes up."
This man gets it. NOED isn't good, it isn't even great. There are killers that have the same effect, exposed, built in and it lasts the entire game. The only reason people don't like the perk is because it is unexpected, and they didn't bother trying to play around it. Its a way better late game tilting tactic than it is for getting a sweep, and it mainly just punishes uncoordinated teams. You HAVE to work together if you are going to try and make plays against NOED as a survivor, and most groups will not because it isn't worth their effort. That is also assuming that the totem a) even spawned and b) doesn't get taken down after it does spawn.

First of all, after the Survivor vaults a Pallet multiple times in a row, the Loud Noise Notifications should come to a cool-down. Also, you don't hear them if you're outside of a specific radius of where the notification originated from. You can also go chase them and force them to stop, even though this mightn't be optimal and is very annoying.
No, it's not reportable since it isn't considered a bannable offense like working with the Killer or abusing exploits.
Is this a suggestion for devs or already implemented? There is no noise cool down, it triggers for every time they cause an action that is considered loud. IF it is the case that there should be a cooldown then this is a bug but I doubt they would have that implemented just because in theory, after 3 vaults for example now the survivor is in theory silent vaulting. Also I am hearing these actions across the map, I'm not talking about the sound of them hitting wood if they jump a window. The ones that trigger with the large visual cue, the generics that are all the same for a gen being blown, rushing into a locker, or from the distraction perk. In theory, yes, I could go to one survivor and attempt to stop them, but I can only chase ONE survivor at a time. When I would leave one, then that survivor left behind would begin triggering the noise notifications so it was constant. So my options are play with no sound, try to continue playing but now deafened by the noise, or disconnect(which I am NOT suggesting anyone does). If this isn't griefing / trolling, I'm not really sure what the devs consider for that in game report option. There's more you can report than exploits and working with the killer.

I think it would be cool if survivors had a unique ability. Although with how strong survivor perks are, I'm not sure they would need it. I would like if they gave downsides to survivor perks (like killer perks) so they could afford to have unique survivor powers too.
But as someone else said, items kind of fill that slot anyway.
They sort of used to because originally teachable perks didn't exist. If you wanted to use adrenaline, you had to play Meg. If you wanted Thanataphobia, you had to play nurse. They changed it and made the teachable perk system instead.

Que times are not long for me.
It fluctuates for me, depending on if I'm playing survivor, killer, + ranks. I've had instant games or 10 minute waits.
Though that isn't really the topic.

Bodyblocking the killer is never considered taking the game hostage, because the killer can always hit the survivors to force them to move. As the commenter above observed, none of what they did in-game is reportable, but abuse and harassment in the post-game chat are. Do make sure it is genuine abuse, though - they won't get punished for saying things like "gg ez".
In-game reports are compulsory for all offences, so you did the right thing by starting there. If you would like to submit additional evidence to help the team process your report, you can do so by creating a support ticket in the "Additional player report information" category. Here is the direct link to do so: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=191426
You will need the player(s)' Steam IDs, and screenshots of the chat will suffice as evidence. If you're reporting them for something that happened during the match, such as hacks or exploits, you will need to supply video evidence.
In case it's helpful, you can also find a list of all bannable offences, with details of how to report them, in this post here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/19450/game-rules-and-report-system
Thanks so much, that was everything I was looking for!

Sounds like you had a bad game but nothing they did was reportable outside of the end game chat, which depends on what they actually typed.
Wouldn't that be considered taking the game hostage? I'm not talking about how survivors will get in the way of hooks or other survivors so they can't be hit, I'm talking being literally trapped in a corner not able to move. I may have the terminology off.
Considering if I wrote it out on the forums it would actually all be censored, I would think the aftergame would be easily reported.

Not really a dirty build, but I've been having fun all day running essentially any sparkly hex + a location perk. In my case Devour and Whispers. You are now playing tower defense, because even if it is a useless hex survivors do not want to let shinies stay up. They will flock to you in groups like flies, and batting them off and shaking your head "no" is the funniest thing ever. They will refuse to let it go and start doing really silly strategies to get it down. This only works if you have a really obvious totem spawn though that's out in the open. You would think it is life or death for the to take it down even if there are 0 stacks LOL.
Worst case scenario? Play with your covert ops super well hidden totem as normal and clear house.

I just spent an entire game as killer defending my Devour totem, that was next to a survivor on a hook. As in within 3 feet. Cause the second anyone went for the save, they would do the totem first. They also kept unhooking the survivor in my face.
Needless to say, I got 0 stacks and after the first survivor died on that hook I just gave up on trying to use devour at all.

The way they do bans for card games and card development, especially like MTG, are way too different to apply here to a game like DBD. Sets for TCG are made years in advance, put under a lot of development, tweaked constantly, and depending on the format only used for a limited amount of time. Not to mention they will have over 100+ cards released, and when they ban one or more they REALLY have to. Because DBD has such a small perk pool, it would be infinitely more devastating to ban a perk, and keep in mind in TCG bans are met with even more uproar that what you're seeing about ruin since the cards themselves are worth money.
THIS is why BHVR changes and tweaks perks. While I don't believe it is done on the same scale that larger companies can do like the Pokemon Company and Wizards of the Coast, they take time and care in their decisions to make these changes to salvage perks and killers rather than scrap them. From what I've seen of the Dev videos and interviews, DBD is meant to show off human behavior and psychology in essentially a small environment. At the same time they have also made a game with a competitive mode, so they are attempting to make the game playable and enjoyable while keeping around the core thought of "a coop horror game, but the killer is human, and no AI will ever be as terrifying as being hunted by a human." The videos on the steam page from the devs are very interesting, and actually understanding the core logic behind what the game is supposed to be helped me with being a better survivor.
With all that said, BHVR is still NOT Wizards or Pokemon Co. They aren't going to have as many people, playtesters, and years of development to make sure that perk combos that may be game breaking never slip through the cracks. Hell, it even happens with big TCG that unexpected game breaking combos happen that weren't noticed / thought up in play testing. I've heard of entire play testing teams getting the can because of mix ups like that. As someone who use to play competitive Magic, seeing the uproar on the forums about ruin just shows to me that no one on here has had to deal with real tweaks or bans for a game. When you have over $200 worth of cards become trash overnight because of a ban, then you can come talk to me. And even then, when those bans happen it is always to the benefit of the player's experience. They just want players to have fun, and not sit here for however much time doing nothing because we are getting steam rolled or watching your opponent do 54728359+ things while you sit on your hands not able to respond / have a counter. BHVR isn't trying to screw anyone, they just want everyone to have a good time. Otherwise they would never do the changes and adjustments they do and we would actually have a one note meta where you would only see the same four perks on every player, every time without fail.

I don't understand why so many DC, especially at low ranks on first down. You've wasted everyone's time, get no BP, and then have to wait to requeue. Though it seems like survivors get matches a lot faster than killers do, though that may just be the difference of my ranks on each.
