  • I think the following should be added to the updated BT:

    • Start the Trial with 3 Tokens
    • When saving an Ally from a Hook, consume 1 Token to protect by the Endurance Status Effect

The number of Tokens at the start of the trial is an example.

  • This is because the developer's philosophy is not based on game balance or fun to play.

"Non-basic attack" is a poorly thought out decision that just limits the players.

I get what you're saying. I used to think it should scale like with Trappers new traps.

But honestly I think that would hurt her long term. Yeah there are times where they get it off first try and that sucks, but if they did a rolling percentage you'd probably never see a 4-5th box or trap kill ever again. Due to the fact they can instakill theres NO WAY they would be as lenient with the chances. It would be 85% chance after the second box or something.

I like her more as she is tbh. I even heard Scorpionz (the best pig player and one of the better killers in dbd) talk about this on stream a little while ago and he says it'd be much, much worse.

The main effect of RBTs is to slow down the generator. Trap kill is slight.

If Pig players want it, they can disturb the survivor looking for the key in the Jigsaw Box.

But if Pigs don't camp and tunnel, and RBTs are removed in the first box, it's really worth nothing. They are just scraps.

The lack of a key in the first box gives us the freedom to choose from a variety of playstyles.

It literally picks a random box when you place the trap on their head. It's working as intended.

    >picks a random box when you place the trap on their head

Exactly my opinion is that it needs to be revisited.

It is a mechanism that makes RBTs pretty unreliable.

RBTs are removed from their heads in the first box without sufficient slowdown effect to the survivors.

If no changes are to be made to RBTs, then crouch and ambush dash should be tweaked to be useful to more players.

Note: "I suggest checking out <Fog Whisperer>" & "Pig is in the top third of Killers for performance" are not necessary.

  • Developers, take a look at this feedback again.

My eyes are also hurt by these maps.

  • After adding a breakable wall, it became more God Window than before.

Every survivor can continue to run away for a long time if chased by a killer that has no effective power. Even if Bloodlust is in the game.

With the two pallets that were in this building, we were able to play mind games. Removing them and returning the God Window made this map less interesting.

I can say, after playing both sides, that without bloodlust it is SO much easier for survivors to escape with little threat. Only those who don't know how to loop get caught consistently. Those who do control the match, more than they did before. With as fast as generators go off, bloodlust is needed to help end chases faster as without it, killers have a difficult time ending the first chase (against strong survivors) before gens pop off.

Playing as survivor...I noticed the game was FAR easier to complete whatever you set out to do. The only exception I have had were the camping Leatherfaces and Ghostfaces. (There were so SO many.....) Also had one Hag running Hag's Basement and my teammates were......unique..... Had one Plague who quit after the first minute since she couldn't catch the survivor. faced 2 Pyramid Heads, one was an absolute joke, the other was skilled and got several hooks, just couldn't get a kill as the chases took just a little too long. He had more points than us though. Had a Blight who absolutely wrecked...so much so that it made me reevaluate my stance on him, he was a rank 3, btw. Rest aren't worth mentioning as a never got chased in those.

Overall, IMO....Bloodlust is needed on most killers. Not all, but most. These killers have no chance of winning without that boost. Some killers are fine without it while others are a free escape. Red ranks have enough skill and good perks/ad-ons to counteract the lack of bloodlust. I have noticed more killers played in unfun ways, camping was almost every game with the exception of a few. I haven't experienced this much back to back camping before.

What about leaving bloodlust as is...but make it unavailable to those in the higher ranks as they shouldn't need the assist? Or alternatively, make it so that you can only get bloodlust 2 & 3 if you run Beast of Prey? I dunno. That was just a random thought there. I'd personally prefer leaving only the first tier of bloodlust and removing the 2 & 3. By the time you get 2 & 3 you should have given up the chase anyway. Bloodlust may have been a temporary solution...but it has become a part of the experience of playing as killer. Removing it altogether may cause more killers to play in far worse and unfun ways just to get a win. Course, my opinion is just based on what I personally experienced playing both sides this weekend.

A very balanced opinion from both sides.

And since there is no certainty that BHVR will always make perfectly tuned maps from now until the future, Bloodlust Tier 1 should remain in the game as insurance. (I know and appreciate the efforts the developers are making to make the maps better.)

  • I think this is the survivors, not the killer, who should be learning the mind games.

However, this view would not get the consent of the survivors who want to get an easy win.

  • "I doubt it"? "it doesn't take much effort to just turn it off"?

OK. Let's actually test it. I'm looking forward to the result.

  • I'd like to play in a potato field that doesn't require a slowdown perks, too.

RBT is just a tool of luck. 99% gens? Are there survivors who still do that? The correct counter is to trash it with gens rush before the RBT is used.

Normal survivors will leave the loop when they see Pig crouching. Moving from palette to palette without being able to use a Killer power in the chase is no fun.

And while Cannibal's chainsaw can keep up with Sprint Burst, Ambush Dash can't. Why?

Her POV when she's crouching is lower than Victor's and the screen is mostly hidden by grass.

I think her base kit is outdated and needs to be revisited. Not just the add-on path.

  • Devs, do you know PTB?

    What does PTB mean??????

  • The game is balanced around 4 perks, If the survivors don't bring the med-kits to the game.
