  • Definitely survivor sided, most maps, most overpowered perks, items or add-ons, keys, etc.

  • I'll just stick to my main Pyramid Head, sadly I must say the Nemesis is disappointing.

Are we forgetting Trickster? Or are we pretending that didn't happen still?

Trickster is worse than Legion so that is saying a lot

  • I beg you pardon?!

Even the top Killer mains are saying Nemesis is pretty weak, his tentacle's hitbox is so hard to hit and the zombies are very situational if they are not stuck across the map. Infections don't even do anything to survivors except allowing him to injure you with his tentacle or zombies, hell I think infection works well for survivors by giving them a speed boost.

This must be one of those survivor mains rant about how killers are not supposed to kill them and give them hatch, because most killers are not already a minor inconvenience for survivors carried by the game smfh

  • Please, everything from Matchmaking to Gameplay is so broken I went to play Friday the 13th instead😭

  • I keep getting a bug where pallets disappear and reappear and hooks don't get highlighted, I think BEhaviour has done a pretty good job so far with this Resident Evil update.

  • I feel like Nemesis should have been a stronger killer but right now he sits in B tier for me.

His tentacles hitbox is just too small and mutation level should be require less hits, the add-ons should have focused on increase Zombie numbers and speed also infection debuffs but being infected actually does nothing for the Killer other than force survivors to get a "Vaccine"

I wish Nemesis had a Ultimate move after getting to Tier 3 he gets a Rocket Launcher for 30 or 60 seconds where he can be a range killer for a short time. I think BEhaviour is just afraid of making Strong Killers to not anger the Survivor Main overlords

Lol the point is killers are benefiting more than ever from broken hitboxes and server latency. Hit validation is off. If you missed its because you missed. The current system benefits killers. There is no upside to being hit from 10 feet away from a survior perspective but there is from a killer perspective, ie free hit

"Killers are benefiting from broken servers" you are the most delusional survivor main I've found on here.

Other than frame rate issues everything seems fine, survior on the other hand not so much. Being hit through fast vaults when you've taken at least one step away from the window at the other side needs to stop. Being hit through pallets that were clearly thrown down before the swing needs to stop. It was never this bad on P2P servers. Also i really dont appreciate Angelina Jolie training huntress to bend her hatchets around walls and obstacles

This is about Killers. Stop trying to make this about survivors when it affects killers even worse.

  • If you mean laggy as fvck and cannot connect hit for sh*t then yeah.

Sometimes you eat the bear, and sometimes he eats you. This game is a stress simulator. That is somehow fitting because it is based on a horror genre in theory, and those films are all about creating and sustaining stress. The bigger the stress, the greater the release when it tones down. You get the idea. While I despise bad sportsmanship, and tea-bagging is certainly that, you can't let that stuff get to you. What happens in the match, stays in the match. If you end up against better people than you, just give it 100% and laugh off the tea-bagging and Salt. You will learn faster. Think of it like a sort of Boot Camp where you will get the last laugh and one day make the Drill Instructors pay dearly.

I am still very new. There are people who have been playing this game here since 2016. I started in time to experience pre-matchmacking, matchmaking, and the current post-matchmaking. As a result, I ended up constantly fighting two levels above my Rank. I was fighting Red+Purple when I was Green. I was fighting pretty much all Red (or mostly Red) by the time I was Purple. While I found it flattering that the game thought I was "ready for the Show" so to speak, it really frustrated me. In hindsight, I learned a lot. Play against the best and you will get stomped. I make no bones about that. Each match will be a grueling, painful testament to how bad you are in comparison to them. But you do get better, and you get better fast.

And take it with a grain of salt that even the best have bad games. All those awesome Streamers you see are choosing which videos to show us. They lose games too, and some of them even show us the losses. While this game does rely a lot of skill and experience, it also has a considerable luck factor. Sometimes you are just in the right place at the wrong time. That is why you cannot fixate on an individual game. That will drive you crazy. You set long term goals and you move toward them. In the face of that, the odd setback is really just par for the course.

Tbh I don't really play Killer to 4 stacks which only happens vs Rank 14 and below, killers are considerably weaker than survivors (if not then there would have been way more killer mains) I've heard the excuses a million times already, the game needs a lot of rework and balance fixing.

The only thing causing stress is not really the survivors abusing their advantage (the honest truth is killers get ironically more stressed than survivors) but most of the time it's framerates or servers not connecting hits, etc. There are games I get my arse handed to me and I don't complain because it felt fair but DBD ain't one of them. I do still play the game casually 4-5 hours everyday.

  • What? This price only lasts during the Halloween Event, smells like toxic entitlement to me.

  • This is my first Event, so I feel like I've been screwed for something players have gotten for free in the past. The Hallowed skins should be a free event update each year but the devs wants all of our money.

  • This is my first Event, this game has always failed to make good first impressions.

  • I played both Killer and Survivor and tbh hitting a survivor or dodging a killer was so hard to do. The lag is abysmal on console, I just turn off the game and watch my favorite streamers play instead, I'm not in the mood to be stressed by DBD.

  • @chase131119 said:

Eight minutes? If you can't win a game in eight minutes, I don't know what to tell you.

I'm Rank 14, cut me some slack.

  • Okay then, matches should last 3 to 5 min max. There is obviously nothing wrong at all.

  • Survivors should be locked from switching too but this is dbd after all, I don't even care much anymore tbh

  • This is a very shady move from the devs, they just won't stop beating down Killer players, we're already weak compared to survivors and now the new barely visible auras.

I honestly don't know if I want to keep playing this game, I really wish there was a better game with licensed killers so that I can stop playing DBD for good.

  • @Nagi said:

Oh that aura change, that was 100% intentional. enjoy!

Ofc a survivor main is gonna mock me for being constantly frustrated by the devs who favor survivors. No, I won't enjoy.

  • The devs really are trying harder now to discourage playing Killer, I redownloaded this game last night only to be met with alpha build auras. People have been telling me that it is intentional and not a bug, BBQ & Chili auras are literally impossible to see if you are not looking carelly, this is a soft nerf to Killers. I don't trust those devs mate.

And before y'all come on here and shower me with toxicity just know that I have been trying my hardest to be a good player, I don't tunnel, I don't camp, I give hatch if they spawn nearby, I give thumbs up good players but despite all that I mostly get toxic players who won't stop abusing a game that clearly give them more power and will sometimes message nasty stuff to me.

This game is truly one of the worst games I have EVER played, the community is super toxic and the devs don't ever make Killer mains feel valued and barely communicate transparently (I'd love to see what y'all would do if all the Killer players left the game)

  • @Cheers said:

    Unfortunately this isn't a bug...

This game is honestly terrible and overrated, not enough license killers will make it otherwise.

Well, time to delete it again and re-install if they fix this "feature" directly targeting Killer players.

How is this game always top 25 on Twitch #########

wraith cloaked makes it harder for them to get points off you and might even make them de pip if you never hit chase or hook them

You can get 1k just for opening the gate to to make the match go by quicker

Once you do they usually wait doe the timer to run all the way down so look for the hatch and you might be able to close that before the last person walks for even more points.

There's really no difference between throwing and doing poorly, I'm just letting you know how to get points without survivor interactions. You can also just kick a gen over and over or pull them off gens and throw them down.

If you dont hit they catch on pretty quick and you can even catch them off guard if they think your throwing but pulling them for grabs

Ways to gain lots of points is doctor and just shock them over and over or hag and just put traps everywhere

I hope after all your throw matches you can get some better perks and give playing another try.

Tbh I don't really want survivors to not have fun but I am NOT having fun as a killer so why should I care about their fun?

I just spent 5-6 minute chasing a sweaty Rank 1 and 4 gens were already done. The pos had the nerve to teabag me afterward...

I will try my best to not give up mid-match and maximize my play because I am not awful at the game, I'm just put against players who are way above my skill level.

  • @emptyCups said:

Afk is bannable but if you want to walk around and hit people idk

I just want to gain XP...

I'm not against this. The only problem is wasting time to go "plant" the totem and finding a decent spot. Another issue is that a survivor could come across the killer and see them do it, which is pretty likely given that a lot of players already assume where a hex is based on where the killer goes at the start of the match. Most things have pros and cons though, and I think the only way of knowing if this is a better solution to totem placements would be actually testing it out and seeing the results

I also think it would be cool if the killer could actually see which totem is what - like a little pop up saying "thrill of the hunt" or "haunted grounds" as they look at it

I think it would still be better than having the totem spawn randomly on the map because sometimes it's right in the open.

If the killers are smart they will know there to place the totem without letting anyone see them doing it.

It would make Hex perks a bit less useless/unreliable.

And again , only premades of genrushers, veterans don't like to play the game

I'm also a rank 12 Killer and I get get put against Red Ranks almost every match, I am so sick and tired of getting bullied by them.

I love a good challenge but this matchmaking is straight up unfair.

I mean...if you've been playing since February and still don't like it, there's no use throwing good money (or in this case now, time) after bad.

I personally find the game incredibly enjoyably and I play it constantly. I rarely run into bugs personally so that probably helps my opinion of it but I have found that for every really bad game with toxic #########, I also get a number of really good games. Sure, sometimes they're still toxic ######### in the really good games but plenty of times, I get really good games against really good players and have the time of my life.

Ultimately, it's up to you to determine if the warts on the game outweigh the greatness that the game can give you. But if you've been playing that long and STILL are not enjoying it, I'm not sure what else the game can do to make you change your mind.

EDIT: For reference, I play both sides pretty equally (probably killer gets the slight edge time-wise as I'm a solo player so probably 60/40). I am also Red Ranked on both sides, generally between Ranks 1-3 pending on how many good games versus bad games I can string together...

I only play this game very casually, bout 10-15 matches a day. The unfair matchmaking sometimes can make me avoid it for weeks.

I get more toxic survivors and teammates than good ones, I'm not sure what greatness you're talking about. I want the game to be fun for everyone, I don't camp and I don't tunnel. I often give hatches to survivors if it spawns nearby. I bring support perks when I play survivor, I do all I can to make the game fun but the game itself is horribly balanced and has the worst matchmaking I have ever seen in a videogame, I'm not asking to put me against rank 20 noobs but players near my skill level (Rank 8-12)

Btw I have not touched this game since Deathslinger came out and recently redownloaded it to play Pyramid Head who's kinda awesome actually.

FYI the game can do something to make me change my mind, actually improve fundamentally.
