@bjorksnas will do! Thanks for help!
-
@Th0ughtless what do you mean by perk line, I only have to get Third Seal on Hag cause I got the other 2 of her perks. Can you elaborate?
-
@bjorksnas I checked Hag and I indeed do have it unlocked. On Ghostface for example, I only have about 3 more perks to unlock on him including Ruin and still am not getting it. Should I file a ticket?
-
This'll be barely noticed but it shouldn't deter me from what I want to say
Tbh my favorite DbD content creators atm are Jaee and Scott Jund
Jaee is a Ghostface main like me, always giving tips to improve Ghost gameplay, is also genuinely funny.
Scott makes really chill content. He posts stream highlights which are funny as ######### and also posts videos about certain topics in DbD
Both I find entertaining, funny, smart, and helpful

Jeff
- Has a gnarly scar
- Has a cool aesthetic
- I like his perks
- Dont play surv, first time I was in surv lobby game put me on Jeff so I was like "Guess I main him now"
- Chill dude
- He looks like Jesus
- "I'm on hook" "Don't worry Jesus is coming and I have aftercare."
- Edit: also because his Distortion perk looks like glitchy Sasquatch
If I had her I'd probably also play Zarina

Looking through all the answers, honestly I'd say all of em r mostly valid imo
Having it replace the oh so useful iri add ons would be so fun, it would actually change the game entitely and would be fun for both parties.
I could also see it as base. Ghosty is a stealthy boi, so when a survivor gets exposed notif, they should start runnin if not already, and if Ghost didnt get a decent enough stalk position he has to start chase, andl b worse if they got SB. It would change early game since surv r still guessing who's killer, after that it would go as usual, it would make him more spoopy to go against and make surv stay alert.
On the other hand i can also see this as op. Having Ghost not give info to the surv especially on certain maps would be insane. Many players would struggle to deal with him.
As for what I would do, I would keep it as is. Most people when I play get exposed and continue to sit there until I'm right in their face, but it is funny when they get confused and look around everywhere to find me.
If they were too change Ghost, the biggest thing he needs is a decrease of his recovery time, maybe to like 25-20 sec and nerf his recovery add ons

With the key i dont think the Killer should see their aura for the whole time, maybe for like 4 seconds, or the killer gets a notif that theyre doing hatch, like the one that goes off with vaults n such. That or make the surv do skill checks, it wouldnt progress the timer but if they fail the Killer gets a notif.
-
I personally like Scott Jund's rework to ds
"The timer is now 30 and is paused whenever in chase, and when you start a gen its disabled."
Id b fine with the timer being like 45 second too, I just think a min is too long, but that just my personal opinion

Theres a lot of factors, such as perks, the killer, map, etc.
For instance, you're playing a killer that can easily get back to hook if you patrol away from hook, you can probably get back depending on hook. They could still get the unhook but you'll be right back to get the hits (unless they have BT) even if they get unhook its ok cause youll be near and they're not doing gens.
If you're using reading perks or gen perks (Infectious Fright, Thrilling, BBQ, Discordance, etc) you have a general idea of where the other survivors may be. If no one is doing gens they are either cleansing totem, going for unhook, or if ur Trapper, Hag, Demo, etc. theyre cleansing traps. You could easily find and start a chase, but if they're intentionally trying to be chased that means the other is gonna unhook, and so look for the other one. This could be worse if theyre healthy so keep that in mind.
If its a big map dont go as far as you usually would. If the surv r by the other side of the map you can cut them off somewhere. If its a smaller map you can patrol farther, but the surv have a likelier chance of already being near hook. Indoor maps are usually difficult to patrol and navigate anyway, so you dont know where the other surv are you may not want to stray too far, but dont just flat out sit at the hook, never do that.
Tl;dr: be aware of the circumstances and such that are present and assess from that point. People get mad at camping when your just sitting at the hook and not moving more than 5 meters away. If they still complain even thought many plays are laid out they may just be entitled, but I'm not assuming.
This is just how I would go about it, they're probably many flaws in my statements so feel free to correct me or if I didn't make smth clear

- Remember, if you lose but didn't camp, survivors will respect you because you actually tried yoru best
Thomas has never seen such bs

Hash Slinging Slasher for DbD

When I first started playing (killer main) I'd be getting red ranks. My first few days playing DbD I was either with a team of red/purple ranks or I just was done and let them do whatever. It came to a point where I'd just sit on the killer screen for hrs because I was too scared to get a team of red ranks and just get annihilated. Whenever I play this game I'm physically shaking when I queue for killer because I'm scared what gonna happen. The matchmaking is better now but I still shake all the time.
I know if i get red ranks or I lose it isnt the end of the world, its just a game. The mental aspect of just getting in a game, have them be snotty cause I'm baby killer and them have them escape and say gg ez and them being genuinely better and more experienced just deters me. Idk y I shake, its like my body is like no stop wyd.

I usually say "Thx dude wp" they get confused by my niceness cause it not fueling their hate. I laugh everytime they don't respond back. But this is from an xbox gamer, it might b different on other platforms.

Imo, I'd think it would be cool to have Springtrap. The most gory things we see in FNAF are the 8-bit cutscenes, and the story of FNAF and it's books (especially Fazbear Frights) are dark. In a game like DbD we can finally see more of the guts and blood that Spring is supposed to be. We can see him be at his darkest and bloodiest.
I honestly hate the overwhelming majority of kids in the fandom. It ruins how people view the games and now the franchise is just associated with cringe and children, it's just disheartening.
I love FNAF, and to see it be held from it true potential as a dark horror franchise is sad.
Im not denying the franchise is catered towards kids. It is now, but the main games and such are still really dark and scary.
Bringing Spring into DbD would get mixed reactions, but I think overtime people would just accept it.
I just came to state my opinion. If someone replies I'm not responding, not because I'm a wuss but because I'm not trying to start anything, I'm just stating my take on the matter.

I havent played most killers but I wanted to be included. So I based them off their designs, backstory, and the concept of their powers. No particular order in each tier

Just a few games ago i had a cocky swf and I was just messin around on demo. I 4k with them doing one gen, the person that was doing gens dc cause they were not having it with these cocky survivors. They were red ranks 2. Unlike PS4, Xbox gamers (at least from my experience) will be toxic in game and just wont care after.
