Chucky is unenjoyable to play as. He was one of my favorite killers, but now that's ruined. I'm an average player, regardless of the killer. I'm not top-notch on chases. I loved Chucky's former ability to counter loops with Scamper not being tied to Slice & Dice. Before, I rarely got hits, but the chases were fun. Today, I played one match with the now-forced usage of Slice & Dice to Scamper pallets. After performing a Scamper, the survivor must be next to the pallet to get a hit from the forced end of Slice & Dice. Now, survivors can drop a pallet, miss the hit attempt from Scamper, and get distance with a higher probability of escaping when Chucky loses sight of them during the Slice & Dice attack animation. I refuse to play Chucky like every other killer who has to chase survivors around a loop with a down pallet or take the time to break the pallet. There is Zero enjoyment in playing as Chucky. I will never play him again with the state that he is in. Thank You, BHVR, for ruining Chucky.

I have the same issue in a few trials. It's a random occurrence. Additionally, It is frustrating when I use add-ons that are rare and I cannot benefit from them.
-
That would be nice as next to all of my characters are level 50 now.

Zombies are incredibly useful at providing information. Whenever they see a survivor they have a specific animation so now you know where a survivor is. Not to mention the rng that sometimes makes then incredibly unfair.
At one point I double hit a survivor using a zombie and pretty much insta downed them. They also make for good obstacles in Hallways like Larry's
If you get zombie placements work into your favor; then, they are of some use. I just don't like it when I see a zombie walking into obsticles instead of trying to get survivors. I actually had too many survivors in the zombies' reach, but they are too busy hugging a tree. I do agree with indoor maps the zombies are more useful.
-
Having 4 aimlessly walking zombies would help me too. Just lower the rate of mutation with Zombie Gambit. I think that would balance out.

This just happened to me but I was getting unhooked and zombie was closing the, the zombie hit me before I could even move and downed me. It would be nice if there given behaviors to stay a few meters away from the hooks.

Sorry, you found a smart Entity placement. It's rare for me to get that lucky as playing as Nemesis. All my zombies are next to nothing worth of help.

Also just wondering don't the zombies in resident evil run and climb walls? Don't hate me I have only seen one movie and I was really young I would love to watch them tho as this genre is one of my favourites in Horror.
OK... The RE movies are based on the games. RE originals had walking zombies. Haven't played the originals in 15-20 years. RE Remake has Crimson Heads, which are zombies who were left on the ground for too long. They will get up and run after you. There is an Alpha Crimson Head who is a boss you release from a hanging casket during play. RE 2 Remake and RE 3 Remake's zombies are rather fast. I don't think they run; however, a brisk walk is what I can remember. No zombies climb walls. In RE 4 and beyond, there are no zombies with the exception of RE 6. Regardless, the zombies in the RE universe have more of a purpose than aimlessly walk into obstacles.

the zombies should bite survivers on the hook hey dead by daylight creat a push action for the other survivers to get the zombie off ... are yall looking for new things to do in this game this is it i think this fun and scarey
Give them the ability to interact with hooked survivors would be a hoot. Free survivors should get protection points for the rescue in this case. However, the down side would be some survivors won't risk the save. Nemesis would become more OP as well. What's really missing are zombies trying to brake into the RCPD. It would bring more life to the map. RE fans like myself would love it. Just they would be unable to anything to the survivors.

Treehuggers because they're constantly bugged on trees (and since their arms are out, looks like they're hugging the tree)
Yup, you tagged them right.
-
Yup, mine too. They are so stupid. Aimlessly walking into trees, rocks, and other obstacles. One continued to walk into a generator while a survivor repaired it. Additionally, there was another survivor on the other side of the wall and she just hugged the generator. They rarely touch anyone unless a survivor runs into them by mistake trying to escape. I stood behind one as it walked into a tree for about five minutes before it decided to modify its course to get off the tree. Like I need to be a zombie whisperer to help them navigate themselves around obsticles. They're quick to grab a survivor right next to them while nothing else is in the way. I guess that's the only plus. In RE, they're smart enough to go strieght to you regardless what's in the way; however, I'm assuming the entity took that instinct away from them when they were brought into the fog.

I personally think they should just give whatever that survivor had one them to everyone with the assumption that they would've got those points anyway.
For example, lets say a survivor dc's, then the killer would get 3 hooks automatically, and every survivor would get 2 saves. That way at least everyone is rewarded and not punished into being forced to get into the next match.
Although something as simple as just giving points to devout would be fine too, although this category fills very quickly with most killers so this might not actually have a effect. I think this is why they have this separate category to reward you with the dc, so you get it no matter what, although the amount of points you get is not much compared to how much everyone should get if the dc never happened.
First, Thank You! I don't know where quitter BP is actually calculated into. The saves/hooks compensation is a great idea. A quitter gets nothing anyway and the rest of us loses whatever BP if everyone plays as long as possible in normal play. I hope this idea is implemented into the trials.

Please stop teabagging the killer. You'd hate it too, if you ever played killer. You don't, so you see nothing wrong with it. But this is just a game, I'm not out here to ruin your lives. I get SWF's flashlight clicking and teabagging even in games where I didn't do anything they could possibly perceive as "toxic."
Why? I'm just trying to play a fun game after a long day at work. Why do you explicitly want another human being who did you nothing wrong to suffer? Why are you so mean to me?
Please stop teabagging me. I'm really begging you. I can't take it anymore. This game just makes me so sad to play.
From a survivor standpoint. Just moments ago I was teabagged by a fellow survivor who was not on my network. In fact, I was the only person playing on PS4. The Killer was The Legion. It does not matter on who all the survivors were as I do not remember; however, I was David King. I do remember the ID of the person who committed the flashlight clicking and teabagging. "She" followed me the last five minutes or so of the session. She clicked her flashlight as I tried to remain hidden from The Legion. I wanted to find the last gen to get us out as the other remaining survivor tried a remaining gen. When I got on a gen, She got on it with me. Of course, The Legion found us quickly. She was downed and I ran because I did not want to stay near her. I have no idea why She spent minutes trying to get His attention. Then, She was rescued. She quickly found me and I was done. He found us. I had enough. I allowed Him to knock me down. She stayed next to me as it happened, never moved, and quickly He downed Her too. He ran off to find the last survivor. She used the Unbreakable Perk to get up and teabag the heck out of me. I still have no clue what I did wrong in the first place. The Legion returned to witness it before knocking her down again. I know it was a good ol' laugh for them. However, What the .... did I do to desearve the special treatment? I can proudly say I do use the in-game reporting system. I have no idea what happens after I click an option. Does not matter, I reported Her for Unsportsmanlike offense. I read in on of the Forums posts by the Devs that Under the Discord portion, teabagging does not warrant a banning type action nor report. It is pointless to complain about such actions. However, It ruined a fun night, and a fun game. I Hate crossplay. Sense day one I Hated crossplay. It turn out wrong but I am stuck playing crossplay. I know I can change my settings. However, all my friends play with crossplay marked. When I am by myself, I cannot find another person playing from the PS4 in my sessions about 90-95% of the time. I cannot form new alliances like I used to. The matchmaking right before crossplay was introduced was perfect. I was a weak killer; therefore, I found equal survivors to make the game fun. Now, It in not fun with crossplay. I see teabagging coming from players from other devices a lot. I was teabagged by Ghostface once. That was hilarious. He knocked me down then to a quick moment for the opportunity because it became available to Him on how my head landed under Him. He did not targeted me. Not like how it happened today nor how I have seen it.
Maybe I should just post the game play on YouTube. I saved the whole game. I should get a heck a lot of views for it..... Or get banned on DbD for it. I just felt bullied for no reason and a game ruined for the night. Therefore, I cannot continue to grind for 2x Bloodpoints. So, yeah, thanks a lot. You forced yet another person off the game. I will remember the ID. When I see it, I will just LEAVE the lobby... so sorry to everyone else. I refuse to play with HER. I did not think to look into Blocking. Not sure if it is playing with the player or receiving communication. I know that this is a long rant. And a waste of time. I just wanted to be heard too.

Don't feel bad. Way way back in the day the killer FOV allowed you to look into lockers if you got close to them so you wouldn't have to waste time searching them manually. You could just push your killer you were controlling against the locker and see if someone was inside by clipping in just a little bit.
Turns out the devs didn't like that, so they adjusted the killer POV and gave them a little bit of a blind spot, and that blind spot is what we're all playing with a lot of the time. Just like if you run up to a killer and crouch at the right time on the killer's screen it looks like you ran past him so he'll turn around, and you can just...not go that way and turn 180 degrees and run off while he's figuring out what you did.
I'll be honest knowing all the hitboxes and tricks and stuff kinda sucks you out of the whole horror experience really quick, but it does secure wins.
This October will be a complete year of play for me. I get frustrated with today's matching of top quality survivors. Yes, they love to run from me, duck with a quick timed turn, while I miss with a swing. I spend too much time trying to down the survivor because I am determined to get my hook. I am trying to improve as a killer. However, with the latest tweak, I am not as good as before. The game is not as fun for me as it used to be. It does not matter if I win or lose. I still have rage quitters. Now, I want to rage quit as a killer and sometimes as a survivor. However, when the foe(s) already has a win anyway, I will just give up in game and take the blood points. Fair or not, it is just something I do since the beginning. I know people laugh at me for my game play. I know this is a rant and a tangent of your comment. However, I thank you for informing me of how some things used to be.

lel. Window tech is when you vault a window, immediately crouch so when the killer goes through you're out of his field of view. During the vault his collision hasn't moved to the other side of the window with his animation so you crouch walk under him and it gives you like, 2 seconds (or more) to lose the killer.
Apparently the collision for killers moves to the other side of the window as soon as he vaults now. So it's harder to do.
This is where the South Park kids say, "I learned something today." I never thought about vaulting like this nor do I remember any survivors work this on me. I will always know there are too many who are far better and smarter at DbD than me.

Addition - Observations and Revelations for Tome II order of Logs and Revelations, and the order of their presentations are different. Unless they are set that way. I do not know as I did not view this collection before today. Just confused on this one.

You get your base BP multiplied by 1.5. So +50% bonus. And the 2x was definitely not 10k -> 30k. It was 10k -> 20k. The other people explaining the error in here are correct.
Thank you. I thought the 1st score I see in results is base BP. Then, that number is multiplied by 1.5 for the additional bonus. People thought my math was wrong: however, it never was. I did not know the base BP is everything I do in the game before the completion of my participation. It was a matter of my thinking on where the 1.5x base BP is supposed to be calculated. I clearly explain my thinking; however, people thought my math wrong.
-
Math is not wrong. Never played an actual event other than our basic Archives since I started a few months ago. My understanding of the 1.5 for total run to run plus 1.5 was the issue. For a simple minded, I think 50% bonus as a statement for those who never played before. However, thank you all for clearing this up for me. Now, I do not think grinding 1/2 points is worth it when it seemingly takes forever to get a lobby regardless if I am killer or survivor. I do not need any more responses please, thank you.

Are you saying if you ended up with 10k in a round you are actually getting 5k (0.5) instead of 15k (1.5)?
If i get 10k base points then add the additional 1.5 of 10k (15k points)
Then 10k plus 15k equals 25k.
However, I see 10k plus 5k (1/2 10k) when I am done.
I am trying not to be combative, just get an understanding if this is what the Devs intended.
Because when Devs did 2x points, we got 10k plus additional 20k for a total of 30k we are finish addiing all points. Unless I am mistaken....

It's 1.5x bloodpoints, so you just multiply the points from the match by 1.5 and that is how many points you will actually get.
I know.... but I end up with half base points....
-
Need a DEV assistance in this....
I know what it should be but what I get do not seem right....
-
I know it is the points I get normally, no perks and no offerings. However, I still see half additional points from the regular points I get from the round. I play the round.... score regular points..... score half bloodrush points from regular points...... Devs????
