Yes standing still mind game is kinda stupid, yes green rarity and above addons are really strong but let's be honest most players arent trying to counter or play around her power... so if we limited spirit to yellow addons and already have the stridor nerf I honestly dont think she's that bad of a killer to verse, too often while playing spirit or versing spirit I see survivors just run forward, they hear the "whooshing" (her phasing) and just run making it an easy hit or they just dont bother trying and give up.
While I agree spirit is strong we need some strong killers, I'd accept changing green-iri addons to be a little weaker as they do boost her the most but she's honestly not that bad, she wins because people give up, she wins because people dont change their play style. When the ranking is a mess and players are versing a strong killer who can play them well its obviously gonna be a slaughter, no it's not just down to the spirit it's down to survivors as well.
People argue its alot of guessing/reads but that's actually alot of dbd gameplay especially for killer, a great example is a t&l the killer has a 50/50 guess if you're gonna vault.
She's stronger against injured players, so heal and abuse the fact you're healthy and she cant hear your pains.
Totally agree. I find it actually fun and intense facing Spirit, imo it's a whole new way of playing, and adds some fun and interesting counterplay. I'd definitely face her over a lot of other killers.
I think my only problem with is how easy she is, other than that I think she's fine.
Edit: Forgot to mention, definitely remove stand still mindgame, it's 0 skill.

Huntress in very easy, I totally disagree with that. Huntress power is straight to the point, yes, but she is NOT forgiving for mistakes at all, in fact making a mistake as huntress will make you lose games. First of all going for long range shot (and you also need a bit of map knowlegde there) will for the most part cause detrimental consequences, such as losing a gen, staying too much in one area and will also make you waste a hatchet. Another mistake is being very greedy with Huntress' hatches, which is one of the most common Huntress mistakes. Huntress is one of the hardest killers in the game.

When someone shared a tweet that the devs already announced they are looking into Trickster, it just piles on the evidence of how killer sided the game is and who they listen to first and foremost. Out of all of the tunneling, camping, and posts of how bad the survivor side is and the only thing that can be said is: “We are buffing another killer”
How is it possible Trickster is being buffed before buffing survivors? The last 10 matches I played in was utter failure, against forever Freddys, Spirits, tunneling Ghostfaces, and a Wraith that waited for you to heal and then tunnel. This is horrendous. Nothing but oppressive perks winning the game after game. Survivors are so extremely weak with no chance to win and here we are with another killer buff coming. A killer that has a power like Legion and Huntress all together in one. The only people complaining about Trickster are killers that haven't learned him yet or not getting an ez 4K. It should be acknowledged by the devs that survivors need some buffs, in maps and perks. Killers shouldn't be winning as much as they do so easily.
Play killer and you will understand how the game works completely, you cant go around saying killers are OP. Try play killer for a while, get to red rank, and just see for yourself how it is playing red rank as killer, and then you'll be like "Well, I was wrong."

I know what you mean and for the most part I disagree. Survivor hasn't changed much in the past couple of years. If anything there's a case for saying that most of the changes to survivors in the span of the game's life cycle have been nerfs, either direct or indirect (sabo, BNPs, instaheals, infinites, exhaustion recovery, changes to killer animation times, gen regression perks added, little input/counterplay killers).
I guess you could say Soul Guard was a buff to SWFs or whatever, and the implementation of breakable walls has been sub-par and more often than not survivor sided, but there's nothing that has been added recently that particularly jumps out to me as "oh this was added and survivor is less skillful because of it". Maybe Gideon's rework being filled to the brim with safe pallets, but even pre-work it was still ridiculous. I just see more and more people getting better while running the same old meta builds, which has always acted as a kind of skill booster that goes over the natural skill ceiling limit.
"Holding W" and such (really, routing) has always been better than the "loop and be greedy every pallet you come across" playstyle. Playing safe just works when your teammates do gens. Always has worked.
I definitely agree with what you're saying, but I feel like some of the recent updates have made the game less skillful for survivor. An example would be the game, (as you said) but not only that. Im pretty sure they've increased the amount of pallets on some other maps as well.
All the recent games I've played as killer, ALL the survivors I meet play really safe, and doesn't care about conserving pallets anymore, because gens are gonna fly anyway. Gen speed also needs some work I think, because you just go and drop a pallet, then rinse and repeat, until all the gens are gone.
The thing about conserving pallet, is really sad no one really thinks about this anymore. I think a big part of the skill in survivor is conserving pallets, you gotta time your hit, and be ready to move to the next loop, and maybe die for a pallet, because it will be important later on.
This might be an opinion of my own, but I think they need to decrease the amount of pallets on some maps, so the survivor really have to think about conserving pallets.
But idk I feel like the way of playing really really safe seems more meta then it used to be.

Holding W is boring i agree, But i dont agree with 'too many pallets' point, except for the game (map with no windows) other map has less pallets than before and more dead zones (which what make some survivor hold w),
Also another reason is many killers now you cant loop them normaly, tell me how do you loop deathslinger in normal loop? instaed you only counter him by holding w and rushing gens.
Yes thats true, I should have been more specific my bad. When I said weaker killers, I kinda meant m1 killers.

I disagree. Way back when, survivors had double pallet jungle gyms, the BLATANTLY overpowered pallet vacuum, exhaustion tick down in chases, before exhaustion you could use all exhaustion perks, DS on first pick up (for everyone), instant blind flashlights that were game ruining, etc.
Even just recently they lowered linked tiles on certain maps with those worthless hills. The farm maps are still really bad for linked tiles, however.
Survivors a lot tougher than it used to be, provided the killer is good. A killer that knows how to play tiles and hide the red stain can be real tough to play against.
What you're saying is correct, but thats why im saying at the "Top Level," because at the top level, survivors know how to play against good killers, and loop certain tiles.
For the most part, (almost always) the killer gets rewarded for the survivor making a mistake. It almost all depends on the survivor making a mistake, but if the survivor is a good looper, and makes no mistakes, what is the killer gonna do?

This is the way I see it. Survivor has had by far the most nerfs in the history of this game. Heal speed nerf? Survivors adapted by prioritising gens over healing. Pallet nerf? They got better at looping, etc etc
People say survivor takes no skill which is funny because survivor has a higher skill ceiling in regards to movement and running tiles than 90% of the killer roster. You wanna tell me stand still and watch survivor Shape takes more skill? lol
Survivor takes skill for sure, but killer skill ceiling is much higher, and thats true, we all know it. I play both survivor and killer, and I can easily tell the difference in skill.

Survivor isn't becoming less skillful, survivor players are becoming more skilled, and thus more aware of the best and easiest ways to win.
I do wanna point out that, when I say survivor is becoming less skillful, I mean in general "SURVIVOR," like the gamemode, not the playerbase.
The playerbase is always getting better, and thats impossible to stop, but my point is that the gamemode "Survivor," is becoming less in need of skill.

I love comments like this "get good" - brings nothing useful like ppl who thinks that (Killer Name) = no counterplay but when you show some evidence = baby (Killer Name). As player who plays both sides I agree with @NoahsRIK but only when it comes to playing against top survivors. Average killer (average skill not killer e.g Wraith) in dbd should easily defeat average swf or strong solo team. Playing as killer is not balanced vs top survivors and I dont think it will ever be.
Yes exactly, and yes it's for the most just a problem at the highest rank, but that's why I don't understand them trying to fix the rank system in this current meta, I would rather have them balacing the top level, but tbh, as you said, I don't see it happening either.
Ofc they need to fix the ranking system, but im just scared of a working ranking system.

Maybe something from my hero? Like tomura or someone else from group.
