My least favorite to go against are the following:
Freddy - for the reasons you also gave. He just gets way too much free value, and if you're going against Forever Freddy, that just makes it all that much worse. Pallet Freddy is fine, though. Those are wholesome boys.
Huntress - her hit boxes are so janky. One moment you get hit from a mile past the corner and downed, Iri Hatchets are ridiculous and need to be reworked already and the hatchets that SHOULD hit you just don't at times. She makes no sense and is just all around broken and not working fully as intended. I see more dedicated hits than misses, which is what annoys me the most, but I get how frustrating it can be for the Huntress to get a hit, see the blood, and it not register as an actual hit. If they actually fixed her, I probably wouldn't hate her so much.
Pyramid Head - God, his design is AWFUL. Just like Deathslinger, but I don't mind Deathslinger all too much. Let me be able to freely tunnel you because I'll hook you, then cage you and then tunnel you for the final kill because you get no hook benefits AND your exhaustion doesn't come back. I have seen ONE PH not hard tunnel people from the cage. Not to mention, "Oh, you want to drop the pallet? Let me tap M2 quick so you can't and I get a free down with literally no counterplay but DH if you actually drop the pallet. Windows? Lmao no. Yay!"
Favorite killer to go against:
Nurse - while a great Nurse can destroy you, there is just something so fun and satisfying about juking her around LoS, both of us playing guessing games, we're both on a fairly even playing field due to no BS pallets, windows or mechanics. All mind games. It's a lot of fun to me. It is especially crazy to see Nurses who put hundreds of hours into her just guess Blink locations so well, know how to bait DH, etc.

Hello, in dbd there are 3 types of people. Survivor mains, killer mains and people who play both sides. All of us have had countless arguments on the balance of the game, but I think there is one thing pretty much everyone agrees on. Keys and moris are overpowered. Let's start with keys. Basically, keys reward the survivors with a free hatch escape, and it creates a horrible dilemma, 1: if one of them opens the hatch, you can close it so nobody else can get in. 2: Close the hatch, and open the exit gates for the rest of the players. This is one of the stupidest dilemmas I have seen in the game, and keys are undoubtedly overpowered. Memento moris: The same logic about keys can be applied to moris, since both can grant free wins, but ebony moris don't create as much of a dilemma as keys, so only remove ebony maybe.
One big thing they need to change about a survivor escaping through the hatch with a key is it triggering EGC. It should NOT do that.
As someone who is predominantly survivor, I've never understood why the killer closing the hatch while generators still need to be repaired and more than 1 survivor are left in the trial, why EGC starts...
They should be required to finish the rest of the generators as usual. They will just have been abandoned by one of their teammates, unless only 2 people are left and 1 abandons the other with a key. Then EGC as if the killer is closing hatch with 1 survivor left.
If 1 survivor escapes when 3 are left in the trial, the remaining 2 survivors should be required to finish the remaining generators and open a gate.
EGC will not start until a gate is opened.

That's tough lol. It already got a nerf it doesn't need another one, BT is fine the way it is . It is one of the very few camping/tunneling perks. Its balanced.
How was it nerfed? I'm actually not sure. All I know is the rework. It used to only work once per trial and gave both the hooked survivor and the one unhooking BT.
If I remember correctly, you couldn't mend it back then? Which if so, that is why it was called Borrowed Time, it was quite literally borrowed time. You got off the hook, had time to get away, and now you'll need to be picked back up from the other survivors or healed (if it could be healed?)
I could be wrong, though. What other changes were there?

This perk and ds are mostly fine as they are now, but when you combine the two its not very fair at all.
I honestly run both DS and BT as a precaution for both me and my teammates. You never know how the killer is going to play or if they other survivor(s) are running DS also, so I like to cover all bases to make sure I don't accidentally get someone farmed and BT in EGC is *extremely* good to have.
I personally wouldn't run these as often as I do if I didn't run into SO many situations where one, the other, or both come in handy. I wish I could have fun with other builds, but the moment I go with something like Spine Chill/Resilience, a healing build, or anything fun to toy with, I get reminded very quickly why I run these two perks.

All 5 of us ran cakes last night one game. I got 30k that game. It made me very sad.
That's what sucks about "abusing" the 140%. Most people would be running cakes at all times during the event, giving us 520% bonus.
This is a net negative by far and I probably could have prestiged a character at least twice by now if they worked properly. :(

It's an overall net negative than it is a positive by far. I probably could've prestiged characters at least twice if they stacked properly. :(

With the addition of Blood Pact, the Obsession mechanic is no longer solely a Killer mechanic.
Blood Pact creates an Obsession who is only affected differently by the Survivor who runs it. So when that perk is in play the Obsession isn't the Killer's Obsession they're actually a Survivor's Obsession.
I mean, if the killer isn't running an obsession perk, it would be a survivor mechanic, which happens. Just run Object, DS or Blood Pact.

BT for me. I personally don't like Adrenaline. It has come in clutch in a few games, but feels like it doesn't do much in most others.
I try not to farm off hook unless I have no choice, such as camping, End Game, the target being forced into struggle, etc.
I feel it's very useful in many games and many situations, which makes it unparalleled for me.

I honestly love the sirens going off on other maps. It kind of gives you the urgency of "GTFO as soon as you can" and I love that vibe for a horror game.

Same~ I started in July 2016 (PC only)
If you've been playing for that long you should know the answer by now then. It is what it is.
For this reason as survivor I'm rarely toxic unless I feel the killer deserves it, which is very rare. I always try to be as nice and fun as possible.
End game I either say nothing, GG, or something fun.
Just my last game against a Plague, I ran her for 3 gens, threw my second chase to grab the crown pedestal (ran up to it, she hit me, I grabbed it and then she hit me again), and then was shaking back and forth at her when she came to the gate I was going to open (didn't even try to chase. Was just memeing). She killed me since that was death hook.
Regardless, in end game chat, all I said was, "Aww, my little Dwighty boy doesn't get his crown. :(" She didn't respond, but I said GG.
She probably left thinking I was going to be toxic, but I just wanted to make a silly comment. It didn't bother me and killers aren't required to let me go because I picked up a pedestal.

You seriously overestimate how many killers tunnel. You probably think there's a mori every game too.
What is your definition of tunneling?
I personally run into quite a few tunneling killers.
Not exactly in the sense that they will chase only that survivor until they're dead all the time, but even last night, about a quarter of my games had a killer chasing a survivor just recently unhooked, same with me. I saw many DS's going off yesterday, and not even ones that are almost done or they chased a different survivor. After DS, I would also see a few survivors continue to be chased.
I myself got to experience this a few times. Was hooked in the basement (second hook) and then unhooked and the Legion immediately came after me. I ran him around the best I could with a poor map layout, but went down. He didn't even try to wait out my DS. Just picked me up immediately and got stabbed.
You don't have to tunnel a survivor out of the game for you to be tunneling a survivor in the game itself.
Think of it like dedicated window hits. Dedicated hits used to happen SO often on windows, killers would just go for swings they knew would miss, this is because they were conditioned to know it will hit enough times to be worth the chance.
Same goes for DS. You've ran into enough tunneling that even if a killer isn't a tunneler, you run the perk just in case. You've ran into too many that it is worth the perk slot, even if you don't end up using it.

Every time I use a mori in game i mori 2 survivors, hook the 3rd and look for last and either hook them or mori them. After one is gone the game slows down to a nice pace.I get that being the first player to die 2 or 3 minutes in would suck but is there technically a reason why I should let a survivor live? Other than to get more points(I run bbq so I get an ok amount each game). Killers objective is to kill the survivors so I don’t get it when people get mad that the killer won’t let them live.
There is no rule on when or how you should use a Mori. Just do what you're doing.
Admittedly, survivors tend to gen rush a lot more than they would had you not ran a Mori I've noticed.
When my friends and I play survivor and see that black backed secret offering, we actually won't save that person on hook until they're close to dead and will slam out as many gens as possible or unhook if the killer is getting too much pressure.
Don't worry about when you Mori, just know that you may start getting hard gen rushed solely for the fact you brought a Mori, even if it is a yellow one. Survivors don't know that, so they're going to try to sweat to survive.

If you unhook in my terror radius, and then ######### about getting tunnelled when I down you again, thats on you my guy.
While I never play toxic on either side and try to let either side have fun in the trial, I've never understood why killers will tunnel you or how that is the survivor's fault. They didn't get to choose to be unhooked, and in many hook locations, they can be absolute dead zones. How is that on them? What did the survivor do to make you want to tunnel them?
I get toxicity can be annoying and push some players over the edge, but as a survivor main that also mains GF when I play killer, I've never tried to intentionally ruin someone else's fun unless they play like an absolute jerk.
What causes people to do this?

I really wish someone would publish this Killer's Rulebook because every single match I'm breaking some kind of rule. I mean, seriously, the games going to become a sit in the corner and wait till we leave simulator. How very dare we, as a killer, even think of touching the survivors until they're ready to leave. I feel like I need them to sign some kind of contract somedays that says I'm allowed to play my role.
I wish there wasn't any idea of rules for either side. As a survivor main, I never judge a killer's play style because that's just how they choose to play. There are no rules on how you're required to play.
While I may say, "wow, this killer is playing like an a**hole," I don't flame them in end game chat. Either I won't say anything at all or I'll say GG.
Don't let some of the toxic players get you down. You play how YOU want to play. You bought the game like the rest of us, now you get to play it as you wish.

I did 5 killers yesterday and it was a CHORE playing killer just letting them escape.
The wait out the last timer to the very second and flashclick and spam vault
Like I really can't stand survivors sometimes
It's honestly the entire community. I'm not a survivor that is toxic unless the killer was playing like an absolute jerk. I like to meme, run up and poke them, give offerings, etc.
I know just how tiring both sides can be, so I always try to give one or the other a break. As killer, I almost ALWAYS give the last survivor hatch. I'm a GF main, so I also like to t-bag with them and nod. His nod looks HILARIOUS on survivor side, so I know it may make them laugh.
As survivor, I do the above stuff or I just play the game normally. Rarely try to waste time or BM unless I feel the killer deserves it. Or if I DS at the exit gate, then I assert dominance. >_> cough
This idea that people hate X role because of this or that is what causes everyone to be toxic. If you main killer, you may run into a lot of toxic survivors who may be toxic because of previous toxic killers. You yourself then become toxic to innocent survivors turning them toxic, rinse repeat.
There will always be toxic players out there, but you have to look at the good ones and the fun games, even if you didn't 4k, and just say, "hey, that was a good game." Unless they're toxic in end game chat. Then roast them. >:)
With how I play, I don't think I've ever had a toxic end game chat before. Just have to try to be as positive as possible to try to improve the community one game at a time.

I have Cheryl at P1 as of yesterday and have gotten multiple med-kits, a TON of cakes, and a few flashlights.
Doesn't appear that this is a bug. If it is, only few players are experiencing it. Keep trying to level your character and see if you get anything.
