  • I don't mind playing on the maps really, but what bothers me is that the newer remade ones lag and freeze for me. Which sucks because they look so nice.

    My PC can barely handle the game and the new redone maps just freeze and lag and I end up not doing much if I don't outright get kicked out of the match. If I try to do a gen alone, it's not so bad, but if I try to do a gen with someone, my game freezes and I just miss skill checks. I stick to trying to do totems and maybe destroy hooks instead.

    So with them being redone, the maps I hate the most are the Springwood and Yamaoka ones, sadly.

    I don't find that any are hard to play on design wise, but I am not a serious Killer player and I die a lot as Survivor regardless of the map xD

  • I play solo all the time and I've joined quite a few SWF matches. I've been tunneled and camped because I guess the Killer assumed I was with these other people. I'm very...I want to say shy, but it's more like...anxious so I play solo because I'm too scared to make friends and play with them. I'm usually the worst one because I'm just not great at this game. I've gotten better but I'm still not great. So hopefully that shows Killers I'm not with these people xD;

    I didn't realize people make lists...That seems like a lot of time and effort better spent having fun...I guess they have fun being spiteful.

    I think it'd be nice to be able to show that you're not part of a toxic group, but I don't know if it's really necessary or top priority?

  • I instantly fell in love with The Twins when they were announced and when I could, I bought them. I don't play Killer very often, but I wanted to play as them. I honestly had a lot of fun playing as them, eventhough I wasn't that good. I tend to play as kind of a nice Killer most of the time. I will slash people and sometimes hook them, but only if I really need points or to do a challenge.

    I ended up being nice with Survivors and trying to get as many points as I could by just playing to have fun. The Jeff and Steve seemed to be AFK so I didn't really want to down them and hook them because it seems very unfair. Eventually the crows gathered and the constant alert sound got to me, so I downed them and hooked them. They got saved, of course which made me happy - even though one of them was still AFK the whole match. I found a Zarina and she ran from me for a little bit and I walked over to a pallet and hit the pallet a couple times and she came over and threw it down to stun me. I nodded at her and broke the pallet and let her go. I then found the Steve and I told him to hit me with the shack pallet so he did. I nodded at him and he nodded back and my hands shake a lot, so sometimes I hit buttons by accident and I slashed him accidentally and he ran. I was like "Steve no I'm sorry!" and left him alone. He might have been so confused because I told him to hit me and he did and then I slashed him. I then downed the Jeff again because the alerts were getting very annoying. I carried him over to the Claudette on the team and was like "Claudette, heal this mans 8u/" and dropped him and left them alone and she healed him. Eventually the exit gates were powered and everyone left, but the Jeff was still there. I tried taking him to the hatch, but he didn't leave so I hooked him.

    One of the other matches from that night was similar. I went up against a team with two megs, a Claudette and a Feng Min. I ended up finding the Feng Min and hooking her and she got unhooked and she was trying to sneak around and not get caught, but I found her and was walking behind her for a while. I don't like tunneling, so if I find the same Survivor I had just hooked, I usually leave them alone unless they were being toxic. I ended up hooking everyone once and one Meg twice. I decided to let everyone do gens and leave because someone had brought in party streamers and I was going to get a lot of points already. Well, I found the Meg I had hooked twice and I slashed her. I was going to down her and let the others heal her because I wanted everyone to escape. But she legit ran out of her way to kick Victor and I was like "Ohhhh hell no!" so I hooked her and she died. I then downed the others and let them get healed and so on and so forth. I did regret killing the one Meg, though. I mean the other Meg tried a few times to get a flashlight save and couldn't do it. I hate flashlights due to toxic Survivors in the past, but she wasn't being toxic so I let her live.

    Then I had a Doctor the other day who chased us and I heard him smack the gen with his weapon. I've learned that when Killers do that, they want you to do gens. So I went back to the gen and started working on it. He then kept pulling me off of it and kicking it. I was confused because he was like "You do this gen!" then kept stopping me and kicking it. He let us all go and in the chat afterwards, he said thank you and he was doing a challenge that involved kicking generators. I told him thank you too for letting me escape.

    On Christmas, I came across the same Trapper twice. He was standing in place, putting a trap down, and slashing over and over. Me and my teammates did gens, but we went over to him and we farmed for a bit. Later on I saw a teammate get downed so I went to help her and I heard the sound of missed slashing over and over and I was like "....Is that the same guy!?" so I ran to my teammate and I was like "It is him! Hello again :3" Unfortunately, my teammates just did gens and left. I decided to stay with the Trapper until I died when time ran out. I don't know if he got a lot of points that round, but I got a lot from him earlier in the day, so I was okay staying with him until I died x3

  • Kinda makes me sad. I was using it a lot and looting as much as I could. I did find a lot of keys, though. I thought that was kinda weird. But i guess it's good because I would spend too much time looting the one chest I found and not doing much else xD;

  • I don't play as Killer a lot, but when I do play as Killer - I like to feel pretty/cute as mentioned above x3

    For some reason, people seem to think that skins are only for people who are good at the game or think they're good at the game. I got my sister to play this game and she's pretty good at it. Well, she started by playing Huntress and she liked one of skins in the shop, so I bought it for her. Since she was still new to the game, she wasn't that good and someone insulted her by saying "Why do you wear that skin if you suck at the game!?" She wore the skin because she wanted to. Because she liked it. People seem to cause issues over nothing sometimes xD

  • I've had quite a few Killers that let me leave either through the exit gate or the hatch. I always find that really nice and always thank them.

    I had a match last week where a Huntress let me and the other survivor do gens and leave. I was going to tell her "Thank you Mama Huntress x3" but I'm extremely awkward and shy so I just said gg and a thank you.

    I had a match maybe a month ago where this Ghostface was hunting us down and I went into the Thompson House to open a chest and do a gen. Well, Ghostface came creeping up there and I saw him so I stopped searching and teabagged over to him and I was saying "No! I'm opening this chest! You go away! Shoo!" in real life. He started teabagging back and apparently we bonded over that and left me alone. He ended up downing the Meg on my team and I ran up to heal her, but I teabagged once like "May I heal her?" and he teabagged once back so I took that as a yes. He let us leave in the end. I was trying to get him to hook me, but he refused. It really made me happy - one of the happier times I've had in this game xD

    I also had a match where Leatherface chased me for a long time and I ended up running past a Nea who was just standing out in the open and I yelled "NEA, DO SOMETHING!!" playfully. I ended up getting downed and hooked and the Nea came over like she was going to unhook me, but teabagged instead. Then she got chainsawed from behind and downed and I was like "NEA, NOOOO!!" We all died, but I was laughing so hard I cried.

    I also play Pig occasionally just to get snoot boops. I had a match one time where everyone booped the snoot so I let them do gens and leave. One gave me their toolbox and I gestured for them to take it because I didn't want them to lose their item. In the chat they told me I was the sweetest oink and that made me happy. And another time when I was playing as Pig, I had a Claudette follow me the whole match after she booped my snoot.

    Another time, I was playing as The Legion and was wearing the Robbie The Rabbit skin and I was playing because of a daily ritual. I finished the ritual and no one was toxic to me, so I was just fine letting everyone leave. They ended up trapping me in a corner and refused to leave until I slashed them xD

  • It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens sometimes.

    I mostly play Survivor, but I play Killer sometimes to do daily rituals and stuff and sometimes I just happen to find the same person numerous times. It's just bad luck, I guess. When I find the same person numerous times, I usually either knock them down and leave them to be healed or just ignore them. Not long ago, I hooked this Claudette and someone rescued her, and I was going after the rescuer, but Claudette was going the same way, so I'm sure she thought I was after her again but I wasn't. I also tunneled someone the other day because I had one more daily ritual and I was tired of playing Killer so I just went after one person. When I knocked them down, I did let them escape. I don't like tunneling but I was so tired of playing as Killer xD

  • I usually try to save pallets. I did throw one down once just to set it back up while playing Yui. I also accidentally threw one down the other day. My fingers twitch sometimes and my thumb twitched and I threw one down xD;

  • I've had some higher ranked survivors be toxic to me a lot when I play Killer. Rubbing in the fact I'm not as good as they are. It especially happens when I try out a new killer and don't really know what I'm doing. I remember when I bought Michael - my first match was against toxic survivors. It happened again the other day when I bought The Blight. Didn't know what I was doing, so of course they had to be toxic to me because I'd miss my attacks sometimes. No one is allowed to be new to anything. You're just supposed to be an expert immediately.

    I've also had a few Killers be toxic to me. I don't know if it was because they had people be toxic to them prior match or what. I remember doing a generator once then being hooked and slashed while on the hook and being camped to death. And I don't know why. I literally started the match, did one generator and the Killer acted that way towards me.

    I'm of the mindset that if someone is toxic to me in game as a survivor, I will be toxic back as a killer. But only for the ones doing it to me. I've hooked and camped a few survivors and I didn't bother any of the others. I remember playing Hillbilly once and I caught this Dwight and hooked him. After he was saved, he decided to jump back and forth across a pallet for 5 straight minutes, causing the sound cue to never stop. I eventually got him and either hooked him or he DC'd. Then his toxic little friend also DC'd when I caught them. The last two I let finish gens and leave because they didn't do anything to me. They even let me hit them so I could earn some more points.

  • People already helped you out, but I wanted to add my two cents 8u

    My sister started playing the game around the time I took a hiatus earlier this year and she wasn't very good. Same issues like you have and all. But she kept playing and got pretty good at the game within a few months. So while I know it can be discouraging, if you're having fun - just keep playing and you will see yourself getting better :3

    Oh Yeah, I forgot. Sometimes people DC because they... get disconnected. That seems more the exception than the rule though.

    I always worry people will think I'm being petty when I have to close the game when it freezes. I mean, I could be of the mindset of "I don't care what they think!" but I don't want people to see me as a flake :3

  • I had three killers in a row DC earlier. I've had the game freeze on me several times the past two days and I had to close the game during matches. I had no other choice because it wasn't going to unfreeze xD

  • It's bad on the Yamaoka Estate too. I had a Daily Ritual to play as Freddy and it was so dark that I could hardly see and just let survivors do gens so the match would end. The survivors weren't putting up much of a fight so I guess maybe they could barely see too xD

  • It's pretty bad for me right now. Like my PC can barely handle the game, so I'm used to a little lag here and there but it's still playable. It's unplayable right now. When I vault through windows, it does the animation twice. I was trying to fall from a ledge and after I fell off the ledge, I was teleported back to the top where the killer hit me and I was downed. The game freezes more often, making me close the game and lose all my points and items. Yesterday, a killer hit me and I flipped twice. It was hilarious, but not good.

    I like the way everything looks now, but it's not playable. Especially Badham. Badham just freezes and I have to quit every time. Yesterday I got hooked on one of the Badham maps and wasn't even on the hook. Like I've not been actually on the hook a lot, but I mean I was far away from the hook. When I was unhooked, the game just had everything like it was further away than it should have been =_=

    I also was playing as Leatherface last night and when I was hit with a pallet, I got stuck on top of the pallet and partially on a hay bale and was stuck there the whole match. The survivors were actually pretty nice and let me hit them for some points but this is ridiculous xD
