Even the term "abuse" in regards to a flashlight makes zero sense. I assume what you actually mean is use it? It is part of the game. Get over it.

I was thinking this yesterday,. I get that the idea of seeing them is so they can plan their perks accordingly, but let's be honest, they generally don't. They just dodge the lobby and then you go back in the queue.
The queuing will be a bit better on servers, just because the killer can leave and you just wait for another killer to join rather than going back to the start of searching.

The LOS check is pointless. I have spawned on one side of a wall, walked around the corner and been on ruin within 3 seconds of a match starting. A survivor shouldn't be spawning that close to it whether a wall is in the way or not.
The whole risk/reward thing is rubbish too. If a survivor perk could be removed within 30 seconds of the match starting theybwouldnt be happy about it either.
I stopped using ruin on some killers and moved to corrupt intervention and discordance. Forces a couple of them on to one of the only available gens.
I'm not a salty killer main before people accuse me of it. I play both sides, I just know how ######### it is to lose ruin within 30 seconds.

I won't be dropping money on this after they gave the Switch a different Shrine of Secrets the week BBQ was in there, in an attempt to push us to buy him.

The worst thing for me ob console is the frames lost when a status is applied to you when hit. It just freezes then the effect r gets applied and you can carry on. So stupid.
As for nurse, she isn't that bad on console, there are people who have put the time in to be alright at her, even against non potatoes.

Was he using iron grasp and agitation? You never show the killer's perks.
-
I only seem to get this from people who died in game, they also tell me to delete the game and kill myself.
I wish I could say I just ignore it and move on but usually I do respond to then. Mostly it is just laughing at them saying ez when they're dead.
I got called a camping noob earlier today. I'm rank 8 and I had 3 red ranks and 1 purple. I was Leatherface and didn't camp or tunnel a single person, all died and the chat was about me being a camping noob????? I've just had to accept that unless you let a lot of people win, they will moan and make up excuses which usually relate to you being ######### at the game rather than accept they just did a bad game.
Ez is tedious beyond belief.

As others have said, only useful on some maps so you often end up with a wasted perk slot as you can't actually drop anywhere.
I have dropped off things multiple times recently where it hasn't even triggered.
Just another perk killed off by killers moaning about it because on a handful of maps it was "strong"
-
I am guessing we aren't ever going to get any kind of answer about this. Just.hoping we all forget about it and buy Leatherface when he is eventually available.

Followed up by saying nothing when we post on here about our disappointment.
Not even a token excuse as to why we had it withheld.
-
We were specifically told on this forum that we could get it from the shrine.
That was the case until the latest shrine where we didn't get BBQ but we have previously had Knockout. So BBQ was deliberately withheld from Switch players.

This @peanits, is why we're upset. We don't want it for free, we just want the fair chance that everyone else got, from the only place we can get it. And now due to shrine rules we're gonna have to wait, what, 6 weeks or so for it to be able to come back.
It could be a year before it comes back, it was off the shrine on all other platforms for ages until a few months back. They should not have made it so obvious they were avoiding giving us the opportunity to get it through the shrine on Switch.
I put up with the bugs, I put up with the constant nerfs based on people whining for one side or the other but this is the crappiest thing they have done as far as I am concerned. Always said that it is all random what appears on there, they don't withhold things on the shrine and then blatantly withhold BBQ from Switch players.
-
Well the shrine has updated now and the switch is matching all other platforms, so basically they just avoided giving us BBQ on the switch after telling us currently it was the only way to get it.
That seems really low to me.

The challenges increase in difficulty as the levels unlock. It is going to change from being a handful of games where a challenge is cleared each game to multiple games to get one challenge cleared. This itself should be driving up their rank and pitting them against improved survivors.
Also, just because a killer is rank 15 and survivors are 15. Doesn't mean the survivors are bad. I have seen people get destroyed by bad ranked survivors who just turn out to be people who haven't played in a while or people who have multiple accounts.

I assume it is because the devs can clearly see that the majority of whining that happens in this game comes from players who 'main' one side of the game.
The survivor mains who moan about NOED and prayer beads and cries of OP within an hour of a new killer being released.
The killers who moan about any new perk that survivors get that isn't crap and any add-ons that assist them in any way whatsoever.
To try and show those 'mains' what it is like on the other side, they have implemented a system where you need to experience the opposite side of the coin to what you're used to.
For killer mains in survivor situations, you get to see how crap it is to be found first and have a killer stand next to you for 2 minutes until you die, or for the killer to chase you down within 2 seconds of coming off a hook, ignoring the unhooker and putting you back on a hook.
Survivors can experience how difficult it can be managing 4 people on the map from the start, locating, downing etc so maybe they won't be as crappy towards killers in future when they underperform.
The people who play both sides tend to be the ones who don't cry about every perk that gets released on the killer or survivor side. They don't moan that a killer had a certain perk. They don't demand nerfs 3 days after a new killer gets released. They don't camp a survivor because they did 2 loops of the killer shack or clicked a torch once to try and get the killer's attention off another recently unhooked survivor.
They're trying to reduce the insane levels of toxicity that exist in this community by showing both lots of 'mains' what it is like on the opposite side.
