One: no offense, but again I don't believe you. It's never happened one time for me, so why would I be the special one where individual map offerings work 100% of time?

Two: let's go on the assumption that I'm just unlucky and you're right. It's still noy considerable odds that the map offerings don't work. If I go to the doctor and he says "you have cancer but don't worry, you have considerable odds to beat it. Yes, less than 1 percent." Well, I think I'd strongly disagree with his definition of considerable.

Again, if 1 player plays Macmillan and one plays the meat plant, yes one of those will not go through. But if one player plays one map offering it will certainly always go through. Without exception.

I mean the other day I had someone use a Game map offering and we ended up in Haddonfield. Only one offering used. /shrug

  • Kills, because the number of hooks I get isn't something I can control. I don't use mori perks or offerings, but I can't stop someone from suiciding on hook or someone leaving their allies on the hook until they die. It's kind of frustrating that a portion of our scoring isn't based on how well we performed but rather on whether or not the other team were good enough sports to let us do our objectives.

  • I was looking for the last survivor on Badham as Doctor the other day and went by a spooky hook before I realized it was a bug. I did the static blast with no scream and just kinda went "Huh." And realized I needed to run off elsewhere to look. Super bizarre bug.

  • I just started playing recently, so I've been maining Bubba for BP farming. He's got some obvious weaknesses but is overall a blast. I've been slowly unlocking some of the bigger perks on other people so I can play Doctor / Freddy. I'm interested in learning Deathslinger and Huntress, as they seem neat in my limited experience with them.

I don't play survivor very much, but in my games I've been mostly on Dwight or David King.

  • I'd be okay with making the struggle phase less reliant on spamming a key over and over, but the anti-camp changes there feel a bit rough.

I think the developers only put in more famous characters, in an interview apparently, they asked Mathieu about whom they considered and he said that he considered Chucky, Pinhead and Candyman. But I don't consider Hannibal Lecter, Tall-Man, Jeepers Creepers (Never) or Pumpkinhead. I imagine they want the faces most recognized by the public.

Pinhead would be pretty fantastic if they can get it. The aesthetic fits, and there's so much iconography that involves chains and hooks already.

  • I'm relatively new to the game as well and I can confirm there's some incredibly toxic survivors out there. I was trying to learn Nurse the other day and it was nothing but "u suck" and the equivalent messages after the game. I wish I could say it gets better, but I honestly don't have the experience to say that it does.

As far as getting better at the game quickly, look up videos from Not Otzdarva on youtube. I've been watching a LOT of his videos and they're incredibly in-depth, and very helpful.

I'm sorry to hear you've been having a bad experience, and I wish it was more rare.

  • I am probably most excited by the potential OoO change. Just from a theme and feel perspective, it's weird to give a survivor constant knowledge of the killer's location. A regular interval check in is way more balanced and keeps the flavor while removing an obnoxious SWF tool.

  • I'm relatively new to the game, and I like playing killer exclusively, but it can definitely taxing. Generally speaking the BM from survivors can be irritating, and also getting matchmade with people that are leaps and bounds ahead of me rank wise and playing together can lead to some games where I feel less like a killer chasing them and more like the person being chased. I know there's a bit of a killer shortage, but it can definitely be rough when I'm trying to learn the game with 0 perks / addons and getting dunked on by 4 man premade SWFs that are in the upper ranks.

  • I don't really feel like you can put SWF back in the box, and it is overall a good thing for the game. That being said, I don't think the game is balanced around people using voice chat. I know it's been a suggestion others have made in the past, but personally I'd rather see them directly implement voice chat in the game and rebalance around the communication element. Flavor wise, it absolutely makes no sense to have survivors psychically communicating across the entire map what's going on, but by the same token I'd rather have 4man parties with instant mapwide communication be accounted for rather than ignored. Many of the perks in the game are there to give information that you can just get for free with SWF.

I'm not saying there's no downsides, I'm just saying that overall I wish they'd account for it in the balancing of the game.
