  • Coneface is very medium. He's gonna draw in new blood and stomp noobs, which is his real job. You have nothing to worry about once you adapt to playing against him. Since he actually needs some tweaks in his favor, you can rest assured he won't be touched for a loooooooong time (if ever).

  • Hex: -agon(e)

Upon entering the trial, a sixth totem spawns. This totem is lit.

The hex effects persist as long as the remaining totem is standing.

  • At the very least take a screenshot of the end screen.

Adrenaline works one time in the match, after the final gen is done, no matter what. It heals one health state the moment the survivor is free.

Someone could have gotten her off the hook without you noticing or perhaps she got herself off with the 4% chance of self unhook. Either way, adrenaline worked correctly in that instance.

The speed boost could have been hope, which increases all movement speed for two minutes after the last gen is done.

  • Pig, Freddy. Don't get Bubba. I own all three. Can't speak for the other licensed ones.

  • If you want to grind so hard, go play a skinnerbox mmo or mobile game. I want to play the game part of the game. The tedium isn't attractive.

Even if you have nearly maxed out bloodpoints, you can only get a brand new character to their thirties. Filling a single node is time consuming, unable to autofill or pick a string all at once. The minigame aspect of leveling up is neat... at first, but contributes to the time spent in the menus.

Now that you've spent an hour there, you go play a match. Not with your gimped killer whose perks are based on the whim of rng, but with the one who already has the perks you're looking for.

Then you have factor in whether or not you continue working on the new killer or just unlock their perks for the killer you're using and if adding the new perks to the rosters other bloodwebs is worth it in the long run, making the NEXT killer's bloodweb exponentially larger.

Then, for the truly masochistic, you can prestige and start a character over, from scratch. Hours, upon hours spent in a single menu.

If slowly watching nodes fill and bp drain keeps you here, what's really here for you? It's not fun, it's compulsion.

  • They said the terror radius and its effects would all transfer over to the survivor for a bit. So, yes. Run it with coulrophobia, distressing, unnerving, etc.

  • In a situation where a survivor and killer are equally skilled, (regardless of rank,) then the survivor is more likely to win the encounter. A survivor is perfectly capable of harassing a killer all match and with the correct setup, not be punished for it at all. If more than one is running a similar setup and skilled enough to pull it off, then the killer is boinked. They can employ tactics that aren't in the spirit of the game and really aren't fun for the killer, "because." And that's not even counting the people using discord to relay info to one another.

The devs cater to the survivors, as there are four times as many in the playerbase. So, yeah... Killer can feel powerless in many scenarios.

  • You must not remember a time, (the entire first year he was out) when he couldn't vault while cloaked and could get stuck between a palette and a survivor indefinitely, being unable to perform a break action while cloaked.

  • For as transparent that they maintain they are, I wish they would sit down and say they need to scale back a bit and focus on the current set of problems.

  • Does the short term financial gain outweigh the amount of misplaced effort?

  • Very articulate. Expresses how I feel, precisely.
Make this the year of reworks, instead of more, poorly executed, new characters.

  • Nah, it's cool. I'm bein' hyperbolic to assert my point. Took too long to give the Hag a secondary button, too. Which is why I included her.

  • No, I'm saying it took two years to give the Wraith basic functionality.

  • They could put a color slider in the options and just let people choose what they see.
