  • There was this one game where i spawned as a survivor RIGHT next to another survivor. The first 7 seconds of the game: a billy charged across the map, chainsawed the survivor i spawned with, i yelled as loud as i could in rl, and a chainsaw rev later i was instantly down. Scariest moment of my dbd career... There was no hope for that game as well lol.

Honestly no! what you’re asking for is another free ability to have easy games all legion needs is add ons being tweaked

That will still make Legion addon dependent though. It needs to be a balance between base strength and added strength like perks and addons.

  • I think Legion needs a few tweaks here and there... i think hes not the best, but fine overall. What i suggest would be a good balancing for Legion would be the following: Adjust his hitbox so when you vault over a pallet, you can 100% block a survivor from running back at you and vaulting over the other side. Most of the time its 50/50. Make it where repeated frenzy hits at base are a max of 3 hits not 4. When you hit a survivor with frenzy, speed the killer up temporally for every hit you get. Finally, reduce the frenzy cool down by 1 second if you dont hit anyone while in frenzy.

This adds alot of dept but ill try to explain it as simple as i can. Legion is very punishing when your playing against SMART survivors. Smart survivors wont heal immediately after mending, they will separate but still gen rush, and finally they will respect pallets and loops when a Legion tries to chase them, and play more conservative since your Frenzy dosent matter as much when deep wounds is already applied.

The balancing above will reward Legion players for playing more reactive then proactive, and encourage bad survivors to spread out and away from Legion. Fixing the hitbox and frenzy time makes it where a survivor needs to commit to juking a legion over their own pallet, and reward Legion players for exiting frenzy without hitting anyone during it. You shouldn't tunnel a survivor for a lot of reasons, but tunneling with Legion will guarantee someone escaping, if not every survivor escaping. The speedup and max hits will reward a Legion for using their power to hit multiple survivors, and be less punishing if smart survivors stay far away from a Legion during frenzy.

    What do you guys think?

The thing is, the disconnect between a Legion without addons and a Legion with good addons is the biggest in the game. I'm fine with a Killer like the Spirit, where they're subpar without addons but can be properly balanced using browns or yellows, but Legion? A Legion with no addons is the worst Killer in the game. A Legion with purple and pink addons is the easiest 4k of your life. That's bad design.

I can agree with that, i think a good killer should be perfectly fine without the use of addons, or as we all like to say "not addon dependent".

  • I think an important thing people are talking about is the concept of adaptation. When playing Legion, if you know for a fact that survivors wont heal, and wont group up, then adapt to your situation. You can always bring Cold Dirt (Fatigue down) and Susie's Mix Tape (Frenzy Speed) for a more aggressive Legion. Just like Wraith, you can be in your power, and exit your power in a position where survivors cant throw pallets or vault over windows and THEN hit them, vs being in frenzy and applying deep wounds to an already injured survivor. Survivors on the other hand can bring perks like Iorn Will, Distortion, hell even Quick and Quiet in order to out-play a Legion instead of being reactionary to Legion. Its all about VALUE, what kinds of perks and techniques will increase the value of what your doing mechanically.

  • By all means, come on over if you want to talk about this more: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/39424/legion-chat-discord-server-ask-questions-here#latest

The long story short of it is this: Duration and Speed are the best addons for any situation. I would bring frenzy cool down, and mend time increase for special cases like being more aggressive or for late game builds. Speed is the #1 best in my opinion, you should always bring it if you can.

  • Whenever you hit a survivor. Your power bar should be empty. When you apply deep wounds, it resets your bar instead. Use that logic to go and determine what combination of actions would result in a reset or a power bar loss. Hope this helps ;)
