  • What if you want to bring more hex totems though? What if I want to be shaman billy?

Ruin is "easy" to counter, either gen tap and take 30 years to finish or get good at the skill checks; if you don't want to look for it. Most of the time totems are in crap spots on the older maps.

Besides most survivors watch where the killer is going to at the start of the match because 98% of them check on their totem first thing. I do this, I see where they go first then go there after they leave. Spreading it to 4 other totems would just waste killers time and tell the survivors where they put it next. I don't even check on my totem as killer unless I spawn close to it and it's usually in a crap spot; sometimes I get lucky though.

  • When a blendette gets tunneled and moried.

When the killer falls for a pebble.

When I see a leatherface leave the basement after hooking a survivor and he waddles his little butt to another survivor.

Getting to a survivor BEFORE they get out of my bear trap.

    Getting a flashlight save.

When I or someone else gets hatch after the killer spent most of the time camping but he didn't get a 4k and he's mad as heck about it.

Being in a chase with a good huntress for more than 30 seconds.

When a survivor complains about ruin (though I know they spent 5-10 minutes in queue as a duo where mine was almost instant and without ruin it would have been a 3 minute game) but they were gen tapping through 3 gens. It takes longer that way and they didn't bother looking for it. not my problem.

  • I don't understand this whole post. I've have actually been body blocked into a corner by survivor as a survivor and by killer as survivor at various different times. You can't move. A spirit actually body blocked me for 3 minutes into a corner then hit me when they had noed.

Body blocking the hook, you just hit them; it's free pressure, if they want to continue to body block after getting hit then you get a free down.

also most survivors suck at actually body blocking the prompt to hook people if they're spinning around it.

Teabagging is in any game. Also the EGC stops them from just standing there for 20 minutes teabagging you. Chase them out, hit them. Are they healing someone that you downed in the exit gate? HIT THEM. Most survivors don't any anything to do with the killer when they're injured.

This game isn't about letting you get kills, you work them or you can be lazy and bring no one escapes death but with the latest tome being released people are cleansing totems like no tomorrow.

You know what also isn't reportable/bannable? Camping, tunneling, moring off of hook, slugging, forever freddy. Also if you're playing ghostface/pig you can teabag them back. 🤯

  • Totally agree with 5 but 7 might be more difficult since I believe there is a FPS issue but it obviously can be done.

I would say remove dedicated servers or finesse them which I believe is being done.

I've been in games where 1 to 2 survivors were kicked but their icons were normal. I've been hit through windows where it shouldn't have hit, I've also hit people where it shouldn't have hit. I've pallet stunned killers where it shouldn't have hit etc etc.

More doctor skins. Maybe a ghostface skin where the mask isn't just a recolored or slightly altered variation of the original. Yeah I know that's the point but if nurse can have hair and most of her face showing then ghostface can have a different mask; still looks like the original but expression is different.

There are the rats in the hawkins lab but I agree more animals. Maybe squirrels or something but then squirrels are cute...so maybe spiders but then some people spiders are cute...

  • But if they're oblivious in the basement how would BT work? I like the idea but just seems that killers would try to get people to the basement more often. Basement is already a death trap if going against Trapper, hag, ghostface, pig, myers, leatherface and wraith because of stealth, insidious and/or a billion traps around basement.

  • i actually like the cancelation when I miss because it teaches me the range that I need to be or how to get better. Plus if this was a thing legions would just be feral frenzy spamming stabs. I know I would be then I'd land 2 on the same person and oh my power was canceled when I meant to run to someone else. Unless, you know....you're the type that stabs people in frenzy and continues to chase them so you can get a quick hook. The person needs to mend then heal if they can so they're not doing gens while 3 others are doing gens but that's just me.

  • Just hit the person that is healing them. EZ and if they continue to try to heal hit them again and pick them up. Now you have two slugs.

plus let's say what if you were able to pick them up, they'd just have DS anyway so just hit the person healing them.

  • So what this perk would do is essentially make it so every killer runs sloppy butcher and any other perks and/or addons that make survivors bleed more so they can fill these bars.

In order to get a speed penalty and basically a scatter shot effect? Does dying state affect the bars? If so I can see killers just slugging people to get it. This seems like it would take forever to even get the full effect from.

The speed penalty at 4 bars full would be 30%, dying light is 25% and doesn't take nearly as long of a time to fulfill. I would just DC if I found the killer had this perk or just bring all the healing crap I could then DC when it all ran out.

People that weren't saved before struggle would just die so the bar isn't filled.

Plus i could see this bugging out and killers being able to just multishot from across the map and get downs.

Besides if you want to hit multiple survivors with an attack just play Leatherface.

  • Some people get upset when they loose. Block getting messages from strangers and play who you want how you want.

Playing mostly survivor I get salt from other survivors at times because I let them die. Sorry but if you're being camped by a leatherface in the basement there is a 0 chance of me saving you even with borrowed time. I play the game how I want, as do most people.

  • I'm not reading all the pages.

But have you tried playing billy on console? I haven't, so I can't say how easy it is. What I can say it's easy to miss chainsaws on PC. I'm assuming you're playing claudette and hide in a corner then get body blocked and chainsawed. That's dumb, don't do that against any killer that can one shot you. I have no real sympathy for people that play claudette, you're playing the stealthiest character in the game.

  • I have no problem with NOED, it just seems that the killers that use it want to play lazy and not do their job aka stop us from getting gens completed.

If a killer is letting a survivor run them for 4 gens without a single hit; that survivor might be good or they might just be throwing every pallet down.

Oh sure break all the dull totems, which I joke about doing but some games if the killer hasn't downed anyone in 5 minutes and it's pretty clear they had loads of opportunities to hit us; I will start breaking totems. I know all the spots on most maps, except for that damn bamboo map. I can't get all of them though and it's sometimes a waste of time.

A killer is tunneling someone hard off the hook? well they might have noed.

The killer is freddy or wraith? They might have noed.

The killer is bubba and is camping with insidious? He HAS noed.

The killer hasn't hit or hooked anyone since the game started and is letting a survivor waste pallets or is being crapped on by that survivor? They might have noed.

Not all players that have noed play lazy, just like not all DS players are good. Usually they got down within 10 seconds of using their DS because they MUST use it on the first down because OMG it pops up!

There was a game where this wraith was working their butt off and everyone was on death hook (except for one who died) but the last gen popped. I got adrenline and started running but low and behold there was a totem lit and I ran up to it and crouched like OMG o.o then the wraith was like "Nooooo you saw it!!! sadlfkjalw"

Was I surprised? not really because he was wraith, did I know that dull totem was there? yes because I ran by it lots of times and saw other totems broken.

TL:DR; no problem with noed just the playstyle some players have while using it. Don't be lazy because it's a tell.

  • dude any time I go against a Freddy in red ranks I know it's going to be a bad time. He's seen some things, probably has noed and bloodwarden; might even have remember me. Red rank Freddys mean business.

  • Legion for both. stab everyone, you get stabbed and you, and you. It's either franks mixed tape OR they stab you with frenzy then moonwalk or look up to drop chase; while technically still following you so your timer goes down.

For those complaining about billy might have never played him and tried chainsawing someone in an open field and having them move out of your way at the last second to miss. Remember there are bad billys, that's why they might run noed.

  • I'm not understanding the issue. If the person you're chasing has borrowed time, go after the rescuer or wait out the timer for borrowed time before hitting them again. If you really want to kill everyone off of hook.

Also some people play swf so they have at least one other person on their team they know will save them. Having 3 randoms just crouch and hide everywhere while you're dying and the killer is looking for them sucks.

  • Uhm....have any of you seen child's play? Not bride of chucky. He's so small but is able to kill people, it's not like he chases them down directly; though it's been awhile since I have seen it. He ambushes or tricks them into something, somewhere and that's how he gets them. As for carrying someone he could just drag them but I do agree he's too small.

  • This sounds like they were just trying to make up an excuse for tunneling and doing poorly in a match. Plus they had noed on huntress so that speaks for itself of what type of player they are; lazy until down to the wire. I mean most (not all) players with noed play painfully lazy that it's very obvious they have noed.

She let you run her, she could have found someone else easier to chase.

  • They should just give him 120% and his ability is just tier 3 myers one shot down; he can just vault pallets anyway. 8-) Kappa

I don't think 115 will do much. Billys chainsaw is dodgeable believe it or not. Frenzy isn't really dodgeable unless you're lucky with a pallet or locker but again who is going to always be near a pallet or locker.

I was able to 360 a Julie on ptb but only after she got me once with frenzy, so while it was fancy I still needed to get away to mend.

Also some of the survivors I've been on teams with would just spend the 5 years healing through sloppy to full health because of thanataphobia.

  • The sounds are already different after legion was released so they might not need to do it.

  • @Doccy said:
These kinds of unwritten rules need to die on both sides. Do whatever you want and what helps you win as long as it's not bannable.

So just be a total canoe and don't get upset if the killer you're against camps you or if the other 3 survivors get out because you were camping someone.

  • I don't really mind when a killer has noed; it only bothers me because 75% of killers that have noed usually play lazy or like crap and only "significantly improve" when the gates are powered. When a killer doesn't have ruin and they're playing like crap I start looking for totems.

If they're tunneling a survivor when others are clearly running in front of them to take a hit; I start looking for totems. Noed should be a fall back, not the first defense.

Now if the killer is crapping on my team and applying pressure I won't have time to look for totems.

If survivors complain about what killers do maybe they should realize that some survivors play like jerks. Everything is a choice in this game. I can choose to run DS or not, I can choose to loop around the same pallet for 5 years or not. Just like the killer can choose to run noed, camp, tunnel or mori everyone off of hook.

Just realize that if you choose to have a 5 blink nurse with a mori and you use your 5 blinks to get across the map, survivors are going to DC when you down them or die on hook. You have 5 blinks, you're obviously going to mori off of hook; 5 blinks isn't fun and if you need 5 blinks to down someone then perhaps you should try practicing more because 5 blinks is wasting time if it takes 10 to 20 to down someone without ruin.

  • Camping is a choice, even if we were able to see killers profile before game and it said "+great killer" etc etc.

During that game they could decide to camp someone, so it wouldn't matter much if you could see their profile before hand. Just check their profile once you load in and if it's bad, either DC or don't be the first person they find and do gens.

  • Pig isn't a hoodie, it's more of a trench coat.

Also I would just wear a read hoodie, with fengs long hair and urban evade everywhere if she got one....

  • Camping can never be completely removed. It's a choice made at any point in time by the killer. I don't think survivors getting more points in struggle phase in terror radius would stop a killer camping.

It's a choice. Some killers just camp to get more kills or secure that one kill while the rest gen rush to activate noed; because the killer knows that if he camps they will gen rush so why not have noed to get more kills?

  • Tunneling is just a way to get it to a 3v1 rather than 4v1. I've been tunneled hard where other survivors were running on front of the killer to try taking aggro to no avail. It sucks but I just mumble to myself about how the killer is allowed to play like a dick and move on.
