The only problem is that survivors have the tools to stop killers from tunneling, but killers cant do anything about the gen rush.
But yeah, I play as dirty as the survivors do. If I have to camp or tunnel to win, I most certainly will.
Hated doing it and hate it done to me but all these sfws got me doing the same.

I play both equally and as a killer sfw make the game unbalanced for all the previous mentioned reasons. Their ability to have more map eyes as well as coordination makes all the difference and against the killer. Only a small percent matters if the sfw is skilled. I usually am matched against red rank sfw and judging by their gameplay, usually a 4 group. They make the game unfun and pop 3 gens sometimes 4 under 2 mins. I can usually get some hooks or at least one sacrifice but doesn't matter when they are telling each other whats important and making use of the comms. Makes it a completely different experience for the killer if the lobby was like a two group and two solos. Rank doesn't even matter in matches when it comes to sfw because i have dominated many purple and red rank lobbies. This matchmaking is absurd and having sfw makes it unbalanced. Im all for playing with friends but most of the time they just troll me to save the one friend and its irritating.

Face camping, camping and tunneling are a part of the game.
I just wish the Devs would add this warning to the hint screen and have it pop up more often than others the way the mobile Devs do.

It truly is a shame.
Good luck and hope you'll come back.
That would be nice, I have never seen that one before. Theres actually not that many helpful hints as there are that tell you what your objective is

Who knows an admin that can pass this along?

I noticed it too. I saw in a post match they had add ons for no TR when rushing but wasn't sure if that was the situations when I noticed no TR..

Dont worry in 2 day DS will be fix, hex undying will be nerf and the dev wont touch the hook bug
Oh they better fix that. I have to drop them and then hook them for it to work
-
As a killer I also noticed it was like 3 seconds so i wasn't complaining. But seeing as I'm playing Laurie next it doesn't sounds hopeful using DS..

Mostly when I see a 3-4 man SWF where at least one person has 2.5k+ hours.
Is there a way off ps4 to know that they are in a team or how many hours they play?
-
If I suspect they are at least a 3 man team. Most of games i played, one or all tend to troll me or act in an aggressive or toxic manner. Also if i see a key and map combo I can already tell what the plan is. Sometimes I just play it with low expectations too that way im not getting a sweaty match of getting too pissed about it. Sometimes I remember the names(I play survivor and killer alot equally) of players I played with or against and I'll avoid them especially if I see they are streamers so i know they are gonna show out.
Just some reasons id skip a lobby but alot of times even if I suspect any of these things I still play it, just with low expectations.

I agree and understand what you're saying completely. They say killers are locked because it matches your skill as a killer with the similar survivor skills. Not all survivors have the same perks nor items. So switching it in lobby affects which killer should be matched with them. It's also true for these sfw teams. It's not about complaining its simple observations that are true. I had a survivor intentionally wait until less than twenty seconds before they selected the survivor that held a hatch key. It was already customized and wasn't a character that was next to the one they pretended to go with. I agree, survivors should be locked as well otherwise they need to use a different approach for matchmaking.

Definitely freddy first and foremost. He has gotten some huge lunges on me. Next is way the spirit for sure as well cannibal chainsaw hits. Definitely been hit off target by the hatches. As I play killer alot too i can also agree that i have hit targets that shouldn't have gotten hit. Doctor has gotten a lot of off target hits as well as the legion. The executioner got some opposite target hits too but he does have a long weapon..
-
Cannibal. OP asf. Players always use him and insidious and literally camp and chainsaw. His chainsaw should have never gotten a buff, it was balanced before. Now all they gotta do is chase(which he has good speed) then start it up which gives them a speed boost guaranteeing a down. Then they just camp the hook and chainsaw every rescuer. There is no cool down because every single match i play against them they use it the whole match and I never see a forced cool down. Same with hillbilly. Always used for its speed boost and never runs out of charges or is forced to cool down. Seriously don't know why they buffed them. I play both sides alot and never needed a buff to succeed with these killers and to survive as a survivor your only option is to avoid them at all costs.
As for disconnect penalty. Its absurd there's no consequences for camping/tunneling or toxic killers but the disconnected survivor gets time penalties of like 30 mins, an hour etc. You can say just sacrifice on the hook but people tend to rescue before you can and it still gives the toxic killer his points. Totally broken.
-
If killers can camp and troll and tunnel and survivors can't disconnect with out penalty neither should a killer.
-
Since cross play all I ever am matched with is nothing but 15s and higher. Dumb survivors who suck as teammates and killers who just camp. It's so irritating. I want ranked matches. I'm rank 10 and this is absurd

There's one thing I've never understood and it's people's unwillingness to eat DS as fast as possible. It's only one time use. Bait them into using it early and they won't be able to use it when it matters. Then you don't have to worry about it when you're slugging.
Exactly. I expect they have it so I'm always like well here we go, can't use it again lol
-
Honestly this complaint isn't valid. Unbreakable only happens once per match as does DS but if you hooked them as soon as you downed them it wouldn't be an issue. Even if they keep rescuing each other they only have til the 3rd time to be automatically sacrificed. And if all of them are rescuing, no-one is repairing the gens which means you can keep doing this until they all get fast sacrificed. Also with unbreakable I don't even get to use it often as all, so I'm agreeing with the once every ten matches comment.
Also I play both parts too so I'm not biased.

Wow. Sick necroing, dude. The thread was almost 1½ year old.
I didn't notice, was scrolling thru threads and saw this. Obviously it's still an issue
-
It's totally manageable on both sides. As a survivor it allows them more of a chance to escape without being downed immediately after being rescued and also allows them to just escape if there's a killer babysitting them.
As a killer it just two hits to get them into to dying. Or you could just chase them until the timer ends and they go into dying anyways. Plus you could always just go for the grab when they attempt a rescue to use BT

I have complained about this several times already and it needs to be fixed. Im so tired of going to cold wind, Macmillan and auto haven. Sometimes on rotation sometimes the same map match after match. The only time when i actually got to play a different one is when I used an offering; Today I have been playing for hours and I keep playing at the same ones. Its so tiring and making me not like this game. There are so many more choices so why is it just because they have 5 "realms"(even though they look the same) is it that those are the ones chosen? If there's more of these overplayed asf maps then their base probability percent should be lowered by half or 3/4.
-
Lithe is the best in my opinion simply because you can control when to use it. Other than dead hard of course but you have to be injured to use it and that's precarious.
-
Voting for the maps for each player in lobby would be better, no ban just like GTA online missions.
Ultimately I think the chosen maps needs a huge rework. Im absolutely tired of playing match after match at the same damn map, always auto haven or McMillan. There's so many other choices but it seems to be the only ones played. It being said there's like 5 realms for each of those should have its probability percent lowered especially it seems I play the same realms anyways. Doesn't affect my skill but it makes me not wanting to play just because you always know where you're going. Map offerings aren't super common and you shouldn't have to use it just to get to play a different map. Then there's always the bugs with offerings. If two are played, the one not chosen always gets burned anyways in my experience. Then there has been using an offering only to have it burned and the map chosen being auto haven anyways.
-
Unbreakable and DS combo can only be used once each and the NOED can be used until hex is destroyed. Yea using the killer perk ensures you get your kill regardless. If its in the game, its permissible to use, no use saying its frowned upon.
-
As a survivor , I have only played solo seeing as i dont have my own group to play with. I still work with others to survive. I have been able to be rank 6 at the lowest and no I don't hide out and wait. Its totally playable. I agree people are so used to their groups that without it they can't win. I have seen this as playing killer too. The matchmaking is a little wonky right now. Im rank 7 currently matched with a 1-5 killer and the rest rank 15-20s. Im hoping its true that it adjusts to your skill level and starts being more balanced. Quite frankly , what i find broken is the map choices. So many different ones yet the same three get played. I'm stuck at mechanic yard and Macmillan like several matches in a row.
-
Closing the hatch balances a survivor that has peeped the location and is camping or the maps tracking the hatch. I played for awhile before i knew you could close it.
-
Agreed I have noticed its no different and speeds for him seem improved. I have also noticed the similar so called fix on the cannibal. He still saws thru stuns which they supposedly fixed doesn't seem limited on use of chainsaw
-
2v8 sounds exciting but should be more than 5 generators needed repaired. Survivor teams sound exciting. Could even make the team's random too
-
It should be given a better percentage boost i think. When it comes to stealth, I think it's the only thing balancing from letting the killer 100% sneak up on you and grab you. I have seen players completely milk the undetectable statuses through perks and tier 1 MM and it makes it really unnerving and hard to get gens fixed or even make your way thru the match
If your a stealth killer, you should be skilled enough to work around it. It doesn't give off exactly location just lets them know your looking in their direction and close by

Ps4 - California
6/18 2:10pm.
Same thing happens periodically where I'm playing and it says I was disconnected from host. Shows the killer disconnected but still gives me a time penalty and I lost my offering when I was in match like 30 seconds. This happens kind of often and my connection on all devices work perfectly fine. It has been better lately but I'll also get kicked because of connection and be banned an hour one time and then the next time is 6 hours!! Usually I don't disconnect often at all so there seems to be no refresh in between the 24-up to 48 hour space. You should really update your automatic systems to be able to detect a manual disconnect from a connection related disconnect. Makes game playing really frustrating otherwise.
