T-bagging and clicking is toxic but camping and tunneling is just a strategy, it's not toxic. That is like saying gen rushing is toxic.
I played Clown today and come up against toxic t-baggers, so I was toxic right back. I was Clown and hooked one of the survivors and kept throwing bottles at him while facecamping. In the end there was one survivor left and it was the most toxic one, he was t-bagging all game. So I downed him and closed the hatch. Then when he was on the ground I kept throwing bottles at him until time was up and the entity killed him. Now that is pretty toxic I admit π But they deserved it.

Solo is great as it is. I have never played SWF because I have no gaming friends, but think it would be pretty fun but way to easy. But let SWF do their thing they will get tired of it when they are good enough to not have fun anymore.
-
No game is perfectly fine as solo survivor and as killer. I love Noed as survivor because it's so easy to counter, and love that they fixed the problems on killer side after Ruin nerf. People that complain are people that have things to learn in the game. They need to get better at survivor or killer.
-
Play Nurse on console!
-
On Xbox just turn messages off and enjoy the game.
-
Just do bones!
π
-
I miss not knowing that DBD exists. I played more games and had more fun. This game is ok but sooooo addictive.
-
I always give the killer a gg, or an added wp if he was very good.
When playing killer though I just got fed up with all the t-bagging at exit gate, the "easy" messages when trying to learn Nurse and all the toxic survivors in general. So I disable messages when playing killer and I'm not the Mr nice guy killer anymore.
-
As a rank 1 survivor I will shock you all by saying: Tenacity! So often the killer will run after another survivor when I'm down, and then come back and look in the wrong area..saved! I even get out sometimes when killer just kicks a gen or pallet, and sometimes I crawl to the hatch thanks to this perk.
-
If you find any killer "extremely overpowered" then you need to get better as survivor. Doctor is fine.
-
Yes! Been learning and practicing Nurse on Xbox for a few weeks now. All killers is worth learning and Nurse is very different to all other killers, so she is not just another killer.
I get bored fast so I'm switching killers all the time. Nurse is pretty fun to play and a very good killer, so no reason not to learn.
-
Bubba is not very strong so facecamping + Noed is a pretty good strategy. Nothing wrong with it at all.
-
I think the game is as fair now as it can be. It's never going to be perfect balance for everyone.
-
DH can be annoying. Survivors that t-bag at exit gate and then DH out to freedom is like they give the middle finger and then jam it in my eye.

I dont condone the exit gate antics one bit.
Good! Me a few weeks ago, a red rank killer starting to play Nurse which I only played once before. My god I was so outplayed and bad it was insane, and some message me on Xbox that I was garbage, that I should quit playing dbd and such. And of course some was the opposite trying to help me with tips on how to get better, so not all bad but some people π
-
Yes do bones = NoEd gone.
Killer have to play with 3 perks all game. Noed is amazing, for survivors.

If the whole team is clickspamming and dancing in the exit gate then, i would say you got outplayed. The skillful part comes before they hit the exit gates.
Yes these "toxic" high skilled SWF teams outplay me, it's not what I complain about. It's the not treating me with respect that I complain about. As survivor I never t-bag or message killer that a game was easy and such. The killer knows if survivors was better, you don't have to rub it in.
-
Many perks there are a bit overrated. And some like Tenacity and Bond is underrated.

The only things that limit her on console are low sens and bad framerate. One of those problems is getting fixed tuesday. Even though I can still do well with Nurse, when the framerate is ok
You might be right. I don't play games on PC so have no idea how things works there just hear all the time how Nurse is harder to play on console.
It can't be hard for them to let us practice the game as killer and survivor just free play on any map. Alone or against AI killer or survivors, can it?
-
Yeah why do you bother? To even make a thread about it. Just facecamp the toxic one next time and your even.
-
Yes I'm rank 1 survivor and would never complain about camping and such. It's newbies that have a problem with such strategies. But as killer I can sometimes complain about the worst SWF t-bagging/clicker teams that also message "easy" after they t-bagging at exit gate escapes. I complain about that sometimes but if it's because of lack of skill, I don't think so.
-
Sometimes I do. A t-bagger or clicker will always die in my games though.
-
Yes it should!
-
I like when t-baggers complain about camping and tunneling. They don't understand why killers stops caring about survivors fun when they constantly get the clicking and exit gate t-bagging.
Yes continue t-bagging, but stop complaining about how killers play then.

Nurse is still the best killer... Just pretty bad at traveling the map, especially without addons. Shes very difficult to play though, the best kind of enemies to practise on are the hardest ones.
On PC perhaps but for us console players I'm not so sure. I'm trying to get to the god Nurse status, but it will take a long time if it will ever happen. And playing survivor I almost never get to play against a really good nurse.
-
Yes when playing survivor I agree, but this game is not about having fun all the time. Killer needs to have fun also. And in the end it's about winning.
-
I just learned to play Nurse on Xbox, and I find it to be many blink bugs. But unplayable? No you can still have good games with her. But bugs need fixing.
-
Or they are just bad and can't buy themselfs time to do anything else than gens.
-
Noed is good when playing survivor. Killer have 3 perks. How are there for real survivors that wants Noed nerfed? It is unreal.

Imagine being lazy in a video game.
Perhaps they should add skill checks for totems, then survivors will love doing totems. It's more or less a mini gen then.
-
I can't understand these "I'm too lazy to cleanse" threads. Noed is survivors dream perk, it really makes killers go with three perks. So easy to counter.
-
I always play fair as killer but a toxic survivor will get the same treatment back. I never start it. If I'm playing toxic it is well justified.
-
Killer: Barbecue & Chili and almost on all killers: Nurses.
Survivor: I don't have a perk I always use, I tend to switch builds and perks all the time.
-
Took me six days but yesterday I really felt that things started to click, and now I'm doing pretty good with Nurse πDeranked to rank 11 and now I'm at rank 8 still only playing Nurse and got a 4k against an all red rank survivor team today. I thought it would take weeks to reach this level so I'm very happy. I'm going to continue only playing Nurse for a while yet and see how far I can take this.
And best thing is that last two days I have played without any addons. So one more week like this and then adding her best addon combos..π
-
On Xbox people see the killers gamertag. And it's good that a killer can see survivors gamertags because some writes evil messages and needs to be tunneld out of the game.
-
Well I'm learning Nurse on Xbox right now, got tired of red ranks so was a perfect way to derank. The only thing I really don't like is the blink bugs that keep happening. I don't think she needs a rework? I can feel now when things starting to click for me that this killer will get me back to red ranks again. Give me a couple of more days, or weeks π

As painful as it is, you'll be far better without Plaid Flannel in the long run. The muscle memory will come. Cooldown reduction and range increase are the only two add ons really worth using. The ultra rares especially are absolute meme tier.
Should I quit using it now? How long did it take you from starting Nurse in red ranks as you said, until you were as good with Nurse as with other killers?

Plaid Flannel is good, you just need to beware of not becoming reliant on it. Whether or not you'd learn faster without it honestly depends on what kind of learner you are. If you learn best by trial and error, don't use it, but if you're someone who learns best by being given the solution and then imitating it, the Flannel could work well for you.
The only thing I would recommend against is using any add-ons that alter her base kit, such as range lengthening, fatigue reduction, ones that increase the chain blink window, add additional blinks, or even reduce the cooldown. Being good at Nurse is a lot about muscle memory, so while you're still learning her it's best to get used to her unaltered self first so you don't become reliant on those add-ons.
It's like night and day playing with or without Plaid Flannel. Last game with Discordance I used the addon and could just blink and pick a survivor up from the gen. If I would not have used PF there is no way I could be so precise. It feels like it's almost impossible not being reliant on it when it tells you exactly were you will go?
Thanks everyone for all the advice. I have only played Nurse now and are no longer red ranks but rank 9. This is good because the survivors will get worse while I will get better and some day things should even out. Still I have only got two kills so far in all my games and I only get around 3 hooks a game. But I already feel I have a better knowledge of where to blink now. It's a start π
-
Only killer I don't like playing against is Doctor. But no big deal really I don't hate it.
Favorite killers to play against: Oni, Nurse, Spirit, Demogorgon.
-
Thanks guys! Will try to blink to the corners, it's a good tip! And no I won't give up. I use her Plaid Flannel addon to see where I blink, is that good to begin with or do you think I will learn faster without it?

Best advise:"Wait for rework"
Nurse is still seen as the best killer in the game. So why wait for rework when she's such a good killer already?

Say whatever you gonna say. NOED is always an indicator that the killer bad/low skill cap. Always was.
It's rather an indicator of you going up against very weak survivors that can't buy themselfs time to cleanse totems as well as doing gens. Noed is great against bad survivors, you can play with 3 perks and if anyone happens to be still alive at the end they are history.
-
Are you rank 1 survivor? And if you are can you get even better than you are right now? Survivor mains cry way too much. I'm solo survivor rank 1 and it's all good, only thing I can complain about with this game is me as rank 2 killer against all those SWF teams. Some SWF I can beat because they are stupid and get slugged when all are trying to help one person on hook, but some SWF are impossible and don't make silly mistakes they are too organized.
As survivor I have nothing to complain about, only teammates that DC.
-
Pig! But out of those three then Spirit is fun, and very good killer.
-
I always do very well on Haddonfield as Trapper, but everytime I'm playing Huntress I get this map all the time and I do very badly with Huntress here.
Can you get this map with Demogorgon? Never seen him there as survivor and all my games playing Demo is on other maps. Same with Lerys.
-
All games I use an escape cake I'm the first survivor being hooked lol. But in the end I get my BPs no problem. Killers in red ranks seldom tunnel or camp, and if they do it's no problem they can play how they want just like I play how I want as killer and survivor.
-
I'm rank 1 solo survivor and I have no problem with it, really fun. Some teammates are good some are bad, it's the name of the game. Toxic SWF as killers is simply awful no comparison.
-
I sometimes bring in Facecamping Bubba when I want to derank from red ranks. It's not fun but deranking works π
-
"we all know camping is incredibly toxic"
LOL bait
