I know that the game is about killing, and I am here for competition, but I've never played a game wholeheartedly hating the "enemy" team and being so bitter about it, if that makes sense, or going out of my way to make their life hell barring instances where they start it with me. I just don't understand how that is enjoyable, is what I'm saying. It personally seems exhausting to me.

I feel this. I am nowhere near rank one, but just trying to get halos for killers, AT RANK 20, I had low ranks with like one or two high ranks in almost all my matches and I literally do not play killer, so I got dunked on for the most part.
Then there were some matches that were so bad a survivor that it almost verged on the bizarre. Like there was one dude I didn't see all match. Not even that he was doing gens or being stealth. Just never saw him. All match. Apparently he kept going in and out through the same window, another said in chat after, and did nothing other than that. Just going on either side of it and hiding in a nearby closet. All game. I was like.... Bro #########? and he said he was doing totems. Even the killer was like "??? For twenty minutes???"

I feel like a lot of killers and survivors seem to have this whole "The other side doesn't deserve to have fun" head space where they kick off the match and already hoes mad.
Like how is it fun to play games with this kind of aggressive mentality? Do people still understand that games are meant for the fun of all participating and not just you, yourself?

Idk, I am by no means a pro and I've only really started playing about three months ago but I don't get why you are so angry with survivors waiting to unhook each other.
Like... you seem really insulted by it, when I don't think it's all that personal. If you hook someone and turn and there's another person there, you just chase 'em. If there's a group, you pick one n chase that one. If one t-bags, that's the one you pick and hope to god they don't know how to loop. That's all that really happens when survivors camp hooks.
On the other hand, if a killer camps a hook, that's one survivor who can no longer play the game. Additionally, you're punishing a survivor on the hook for the actions of another survivor (who is likely trying to meet an unhook goal or farm that survivor you just hooked), and that's not very fair.
I don't know why you're surprised people don't like you, it sounds like you waste everyone's time ingame being petty for perceived slights.

I feel like some of the survivor customization options could read as LGBT-coded to a certain extent, which yknow, gives players options.
Like, as a lesbian who typically duo's with a Bi girl, we often dress our Nea/Meg/Kate/Yui characters up and do like a "LETS GO, LESBIANS!!" thing.
Not that I mind a canonically LGBTQ+ character ingame at all, just yknow sayin that if you wanna make a character LGBT that Nea with the pink hair is 👀

I mean, honestly, I would have equipped one anyway if I hadn't been tabbed out while waiting for the game to start, and I only tabbed in when I heard the noise marker for the last 5 seconds and saw the match chat had em all spamming for a toolbox but it was too late. Q-Q

Being left on the hook isn't reportable, but I think the racism in my instance was.
Honestly, been seeing a lot of that lately. I have seen people put one of the survivors (Idk his name) in a cop outfit and start saying racist stuff in chat.
It's extremely disturbing.

If the killer were camping, I would have understood, tbh, I have been camped to death before, but even when the killer was chasing others, I was sort of ignored and they fully stated it was because I did not equip a toolbox to match them.
I dunno, I am pretty new to the game and I've only been playing like a couple months so I don't know what does and doesn't count as griefing in the game.
