Well said. This argument is very common from people that for some reason don't want that changed. So they just come with this rhetoric to dismiss your argument by saying that the problem is not with camping/tunelling the problem is in the lack of skills from those that complain about it.

Great, more ideas to support bad play. Hate to break it to you but surviving a match is not the same as winning. Just like a killer getting kills does not equate to a win. If you PIP, you win. if you break even, you draw and if you derank you lose.

The problem is imbedded in the game design and simplicity in killer mechanics. See, chase, kill. A lion doesnt kill the strong prey that they cannot catch, they pick off the weak. This is exactly the same scenario. Survivors demanding more tools to further increase their margin for error is the easy way out for the devs and should not be encouraged. Survivors have it too good as it is. The current state of the game only trades 1 survivors bad experience for 1 killers. Them getting gen rushed is not fun, their lack of enjoyment is now your problem. Deal with it. Don't like it? Demand better variety for killers and their perks, especially when they dont have the pay to win DLC perks that are somewhat essential at higher ranks.

This whole forum is literally waaaaaah I am sad I didnt get to abuse endless loops against a killer. You as a survivor have a ridiculous amount of utility to succeed, stop demanding more.

I crop that to hide my discord. The killer started doing that with 1 gen left to do.

So that red mark on the ground and cinder in the air is just a glitch? or is it consistent with the gates being open?

As Trump would say, "fake news"

Bruuu I already use spine chill, I have played this game long enough ok? Look at my first match today (I swear this was my first match today). Look how fun!! The killer spent the whole game face camping.

I like how you crop the picture so we cant see the stage of the game. The gates are open what more do you want?

  • In all seriousness, corrupt intervention and something similar for totems should definately be a default feature of matches past a certain rank.

Another brilliant player trying to teach me how to play, like this is what I am complaining about: that I lose a lot. Thanks for sharing your vast knowledge with me, but no thanks I am gonna stick with my feedback. And speaking of feedback, I think that you are in the feedback section, and I think that the definition of dumb is to go to a feedback section and call people dumb because they are giving their feedback.

Why is there a feedback section if devs don't care? I don't know. Why someone comes to a feedback section to complain about others' feedback? Even more mysterious.

But you know what, you may be right, but if you are right and the devs really don't care, that is too bad for them. Games have a lot to gain when the feedback of the players is taken into account.

This guy. Bro watch some streamers and if its all too hard use spine chill ok. Us survivors have it so good in this game you have no idea.

I will add however, NOED is a plague especially in lower ranks. Focus on nailing those totems to counter it. The emphasis im trying to make is counterplay and where your skills lack there are perks that can make up for your flaws. Do be warned, playing with spine chill will hinder your ability to play without it so use it as training wheels is my suggestion. Thats my feedback for you.

  • yeah and tougher skill checks and whatnot

  • gotta be honest. I thought this was gonna be a meme where the devs screw us.

    Hex: Deceit

Description: Devs pretend to care and will make (awesome) changes to improve the game's quality of life (or will they)...Find out on the next episode of DRAGON BALL Z (omg wow so cool)

  • Also her axes hit literally every wall you try to throw over. Its just poor design.

It also brings out the bad in some survivors, tbagging, flashlight clicking, map offerings, and complaining in post game chat even with a combination of the three

LMAO I saw 4 flashlights in lobby and used lightborn. Apparently I am not allowed to counter play. This was met with abuse and I was delighted. 10/10 would murder again.

Not everyone has ds you clown, and it's not a penalty since killer can just eat the ds and countinue tunneling dumbo

So what you are saying is that Dead by Daylight ISSSSSSS pay to win?

  • Another dumb post (because you assumed the devs care).

Gen rush harder to counteract the loss of enjoyment.

I just solved the balance issue.

  • You guys are all stupid. Anyone that thinks killer in any form is OP is utterly simple.

I play mostly survy and I can firmly say that there is nothing a killer can do against swf. ZERO. These devs will tell you, as a hulking demonic raging trump supporter (killer) to literally bend over and let survivors ######### you in the ass all at once. Even if you get 2 kills sometimes you are lucky to break even and not lose rank.

Survivor margin for error is huge x 4 with perks, also x 4 that support bad decisions and stupid play. Borrowed time and DS among other perks will literally carry you into whatever rank you want if you have half a brain. Ontop of this you have items that "empower" survivors to allow them to gen rush harder, heal and blind a killer. If a killer is tunneling you then that is the poor choices of you and your teammates for unsafe unhooks, poor perk combos or abusing ridiculous loops. Learn to do it too so that you arent the easy target.

This game is fundamentally flawed and when you get to red ranks you will see it in multiple areas such as perk, map and objective designs. Killers are too weak and the reason you see the same combination of killer perks is because its all they have. This is not because they are OP. Its because other perks are too weak. The devs have ######### all clue to be frank (discordance nerf - who the ######### was asking for this?)

In the loading screen for killer it says "killing is the primary objective of playing killer". I'll admit its far from true because you dont get ######### for a quick 4k. The aim of a killer should be to have 1 kill at 2 gens left, ideally with well defended close gens.

Its a real struggle to want to play killer I'll admit, we just have it far too good as survys so much so that we can afford to run troll builds and there is NOTHING most killers can do about it. And if you got to red ranks as a swf and struggle in solo queue then you are a prime example of why you shouldnt be in higher ranks, and I mean it as no insult - the game needs a swf rank and a solo queue rank just like each killer character needs their own rank. Notice how theres little variety in killers you face? Its because you get clapped in reds when you play you havent got the experience or the perks for.

Consider this: Buff the base gen regression rate. This would make new ruin more powerful and wouldn't add anything mechanically to the game. If gens can regress faster, it would slow the game down some, assuming you regress the gens.

Then find some other way to make survivor less boring.

This is literally what the idea is, to make survivor less boring and let them see a greater variety of killers instead of bubba, freddy and spirit all the time.

Look for parts, match to missing part of a particular gen, repair gens.

Give an actual element of stealth to the game instead of hey teabagging, chase me killer or just doing gens.

Also anyone that thinks that its stacked in the killers favor is not a team player in a game that demands team work.

Further to the idea though, the parts could replace the toolbox and can be dropped in the same manner.

  • parts idea is good, though they shouldn't be essential to be able to repair and should only allow the current repair time. without the part lets say its x3 longer.

It wouldnt be a bad idea to have survivor categories for the characters that will encourage a spread of perks. The meta perk stacking is a bland issue. Can have your team supports, loopers and repairers idk whatevs. Maybe even some perks share cds with other survivors if they are using the same perks. This could work well with the parts idea drawing in some sort of character expertise and roles.

The blood web idea for killers is junk, such a terrible system that makes killers avoid variety grinding to get a killer playable with the right perks after they've already purchased them. If you dare playing your new killer at certain ranks you'll just get gen rushed. But the parts idea and maybe the roles idea together can help breathe some life into the variety this game could have.

so yeah, make the game more dynamic for survivors and by doing so, bring variety to both sides by making time poor killers more viable.

  • You know what the problem is?

Killer perks are essential to their success and they take ######### ages to get. This is why you see so many of the same killers like bubba; for bbq and chilli. It takes way too long for new killers to get a decent set of addons, even longer for a variety set of killers.

On top of this your mmr doesnt change depending on what killer you perform well on, i dont give a ######### what anyone says, I played my 1st match of Gunslinger against two 1s and a 3 and 4 SWF with 3 perks and the following 2 games were red ranked SWF.

On top of that survivors usually all run the same meta perks with some variation, the best of the best and i would argue that having just one duplicate of a top tier survivor perk is a massive pain in the ass.

They took away killers option to change killer in lobby after assessing the survivor composition so thats part of the reason your SWF group is going against my lvl 15 gunslinger with welfare rng perks.

I will make a few suggestions, take it or leave it.

    1. give survivor (or survivor categories) exclusive signature perks.
    2. limit certain perks across a survivor lobby.
    3. make killer perks more accessible or allow killers to change in lobby, this will bring back variety instead of spirit, cannabal and freddy alllllllllll day (I know you know what Im talking about).
    4. give survivor teams that have no parties a little bit of an upper or hell, give them chat/voip/proximity voip.

I will add the I am a rank 6 killer and rank 3 survivor in case this information matters.

  • Some stupid arguments here about statistics and what not. When I was a new player I played as killer for the most part and did some research on how to be better. YouTube, forums and streamers. One thing that I come across more than anything in these resources is how overpowered survivors are. This isn't purely on the survivors as much as its about killer mobility and environment. People complain about queue times as a survivor and are quick to abuse an under performing killer and an over performing killer. When ranking from 20 down to 15 I faced a lot of survivors ranked sub 5. It is obvious that the skill ceiling for killer is massive compared to survivor, but how do new killers get into this game if its frustrating and stick around if matchmaking screws them over and the community is toxic.

I think that the killer skill ceiling should remain the same. I also think the skill ceiling for survivor should be raised. Skill checks on vaulting pallets and windows with a sucess zone affected by injury and terror radius, increased time on unhooking with skill checks within terror radius that increase as the killer gets closer. The killer should be the one applying pressure, not the survivors.

For the killer its such a sterile game where you get punished by limited mechanics and time. Killers should be forcing the majority of errors, not the survivors; which there are 4 of.

If survivors really want to piss and moan about it then wait until the queue times get even worse as killer mains continue to stop playing :)

EDIT: I forgot to mention, how BS overpriced are the DLC killers.
