4 hits Is a bit too much imo, why i can't load the image?

What would you suggest instead? I’m thinking his power could be very deadly with multiple survivors close by (like legion). Thanks for the feedback btw.

Honestly I think he needs a major buff instead of a rework. Hers what I was thinking..

Moves the same movement speed when he has his chainsaw out instead of going slower.

8 swipes of his chainsaw instead of 7.

His stun needs to be much shorter.

No cooldown if you cancel your chainsaw.

If you get stuned by a pallet with your chainsaw out the pallet breaks.

    How's that sound? I'm a bubba main👍😁

I’m also a bubba main, but I feel his initial concept was a bit rushed and I feel as if his current power is detached from the movies. Usually in the movies he catches people off guard (surprise attack) and chases in a sloppy fashion (swinging chainsaw wildly and bumping into things) that’s why I think he should have an initial stealth that goes away during chase and he becomes weak and stealthy again. Though you’re idea sounds good I get bored with how repetitive his ability is and how predictable his power is. I’m looking to add more potential synergies to his load out. Also I hope to give him the love he deserves instead of a Billy V2

I think my changes would make him:

    scarier;

    movie accurate;

    unique;

and force survivors to run away more than loop.

  • Having consistent crashes and bugs on mobile; crashes every 5 to 6 games at the most and visual bugs every other game. By crashes I mean when playing killer I’ll have a 4k 30k+ game and it will just boot me out to the app screen without warning and no matter how fast I click back to the app I end up at the main menu with all my progress taken away. Again, this happens no later than every 5-6 games as killer for me. ALSO when playing I will have black holes on my screen with seizure-inducing outlines of rapid fire rainbow textures. This is horrible as killer, because it can completely blind me and prevent me from continuing a chase.

  • I have been playing console For two years and started mobile recently, and I’ve really enjoyed both. It’s interesting how queue times are the opposite on mobile for what they are on console. That being said, my main problem right now are the consistent crashes and visual bugs when playing. By crashes I mean when playing killer I’ll have a 4k 30k+ game and it will just boot me out to the app screen without warning and no matter how fast I click back to the app I end up at the main menu with all my progress taken away. Yep its awful. I've played quite a lot on mobile as well, but dying on 1st hook is pretty common. I'm currently running kindred + saboteur, in case of a camping killer I can just force gens and do some hooks/totems (for boldness, since the killer is just going to camp).

Also those "dailies" "weeklies" etc are aweful. For killer to open the door 4 times or mori survivor. Survivor quests: unhook like 4-8 people. Opening the door as killer is basicly saying "I give up" and I even had to wait until they did all the gens to actually open the door. Getting unhooks/heals with camping killers is basicly just farming your mates at this point.

Also I noticed that there are quite a few people playing with a controller or being gods at the movement. One doc was walking, turning around and shocking at the same time (just like a PC doc) seemed pretty weird to me. But dunno, maybe he was just a very good killer / experienced with the movement.

Is there a way to not get sandbagged by mates when they heal you? Seems like I cant cancel their heal, they keep on healing me even if the killer runs straight at us. Tried to move / tap everything on the screen, didnt work.

I think if you sprint you can cancel heal but there’s another problem of only being able to sprint as survivor in the direction of your camera, unless you use that slider in the top right (but that’s extremely awkward to utilize IMO).

Also to reiterate to all the replies I’ve gotten, I’ve seen sone AMAZING mobile controls. The best being COD mobile, which the controls felt almost no different from the real thing minus using shotguns. Was able to drop a Nuke with a sniper, so I would say it’s pretty good if I can do that.

  • “If a killer is camping there should not be 2-3 survivors hiding around the hook waiting for a chance to rescue, there should be 2-3 people on gens getting 1-2 to pop before the first hook state is up so the killer knows his time there is being wasted and leaves the hook to hunt.”

THIS 100%, you wouldn’t believe the times I relay this strategy to some of the people I play with as survivor, and how the survivor mains always make fun of me and don’t believe this strategy works. Saying stuff like, “Oh yeah just let him (get camped) great strategy!” or “Oh wow look your strategy worked, you died!”

Also those same survivors call doctor op and when I say just predict his power and hide in a locker they don’t believe me.

  • I really think dbd mobile’s controls need a tuneup. The game looks great, but it is majorly lacking in some of the current ways to bring control to mobile. For example, not having the movement stick detect your left thumb everywhere on the left side of the screen, being unable to customize where the buttons are, and most importantly not being to aim with the killer’s lunge/attack button.

Would love to make a post about this, but I don’t know where it should go.

I attempted to design Springtrap, one of the main antagonists of the series and the most viable candidate for a killer to fit into the game. I tried to make the power as loyal to the games as possible while still proving to be fitting in the Dbd universe. If you don't like FNAF, fine by me, but if you'd like feel free to judge the power and perks on their own instead of by the character it's attached to. Anyways now that that's out of the way let's get to it!

Killer: The Animatronic A.K.A Springtrap (Real name: William Afton)

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/488/5ND5WGLJ3Q1F.png

A fear inducing killer, The Animatronic uses his power “Haunting Fear” to make survivors see phantoms and reduce their field of view. He can also go into a stealthy stance to get the jump on survivors causing them to scream in fear.

    Base Cosmetics

Head: Tattered Rabbit Head- He used this as a disguise, little did he know it would become his new, permanent expression

Body: Tattered suit- What was originally a costume that could serve as an animatronic became his grave

Weapon: Metallic Hands-Large bulky metal hands, able to incapacitate or crush anyone or anything

    Power: Haunting Fear

Fear has always been what drives him, and here he can finally exploit it to his advantage. The animatronic can use his power to enter a stealthy stance to get the jump on survivors, releasing a blood-curdling screech (12 meters in front of The Animatronic) causing them to scream and raise their “Fear” by 1 level. Survivors in a chase or in the terror radius of the killer will have their fear level raised every 60 seconds.

Level 1 of fear: Slight field of view reduction

Level 2 of fear: Moderate field of view reduction

Level 3 of fear: Tremendous field of view reduction, everything looks greyish to the survivor in this state of fear. “Phantom Animatronics” will appear near survivors and will jumpscare the fearful survivor causing them to scream and disrupt them, jerking their camera towards the phantom. Phantom Animatronics are not visible to survivors not in level 3 fear. In order for survivors to go down in levels of fear they must be outside the killers terror radius or have a fellow survivor snap them out of it. Survivors will return to having no fear upon being snapped out.

    “Your fear... will consume you.”

    Perks

Silent Murder: You quietly move from one victim, to the next. After hooking a survivor, gain the undetectable status effect for 20/25/30 seconds.

“I’m here to claim what is left of you.”

Mechanical Obsession: You will not allow your prey to escape your grasp. You are obsessed with one survivor. When starting a chase with your obsession, all generators in a 24/28/32 meter radius will explode and begin regressing. This perk has a cooldown of 30 seconds.

“Hide if you want. It did not save the others. It will not save you.”

    Hex: It’s Me

The more you make your victims suffer, the weaker they’ll become. Every time you hook a survivor gain a token up to six.

1 token: All hooked survivors get the blindness status effect

2 tokens: All hooked survivors get the mangled status effect

3 tokens: All hooked survivors get the exhausted status effect

4 tokens: All hooked survivors get the hindered status effect

5 tokens: All hooked survivors get the oblivious status effect

6 tokens: All hooked survivors get the exposed status effect

These effects will stack. Only survivors who have been hooked once will gain the effect. These effects will persist as long as the affected hex totem is standing.

“Let’s see how many times you can be pulled apart...and put back together again.”

    Ultra Rare addons

Fredbear Plush: A stuffed toy of a golden bear

Adds a level 4 of fear: Extreme field of view reduction. “Nightmare Animatronics” will appear and not only jumpscare the survivor, but give them the exposed status effect for 30 seconds too. Survivors will scream but not have their cameras jerked to the Nightmare animatronic. They are not visible to survivors not in level 4 fear.

Training Tape: A tape explaining how to use the springlock suits

Survivors fear will no longer go down while outside the terror radius, they must have a teammate snap them out.

    Tremendously increases screech range

Mori: Springtrap lifts up the survivor with both hands and bites into their skull, crushing it. He then proceeds to drop the body and screech at the camera

Well, that's about it I think, if you read all of this thank you for your time, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the power and perks. As for survivor or map, I didn't come up with a survivor due to no protagonist human characters being really important to the series like the security guards. As for a map, I imagined a giant Freddy Fazbears pizza, probably abandoned and left to rot with some of the more iconic characters being on stage and coming to life once the gen nearby is completed. Anyways I hope you enjoyed this!

I absolutely LOVE this idea! would be cool to have a stealth killer who reveals himself on purpose. I believe the "Hex: It's Me" should lose a token if someone dies on the hook, but besides that I love what I've read, great idea!

  • Seems like an interesting idea but they shouty-caps make it hard to read.

"the community for that game is omega toxic"

    clown of the year

Definitely has yet to actually play the game. I've played over 450+ games and I have NEVER seen a more toxic community than DBD when playing the game. The forums seem better for the most part, even though I'm obviously new here.
