  • It took me a bit to get my 1st adept on a killer.

My 1st 4k didn't get me adepted. I only got 2 iridescent categories. So I tried again and again before finally getting it. It took me 4 attempts when I was serious to get it on my second, but I'm not having any luck with getting adept on any of the other killers.

  • A trap there isn't a camper.

I've had trappers put a trap beside a hooked survivor. I call it freebie points as I tend to avoid them but the hooked survivor doesn't, so I get to unhook and then untrap them. If I know where the Killer is, I'll disarm it first then get the unhook.

I prefer the traps on hooks rather than by pallets or windows, especially when there's a daily to get through windows, or a challenge to drop pallets on killers.

  • Very suspicious.

I've been hit with lag on PS4 as a killer and survivor. According to folks that I played with and a survivor I was hunting, I was all pixely and not right in movement. And then would suddenly move to a different part of the map.

Never as a killer, to my knowledge has a survivor been knocked down without me hitting them, be it a second normal hit or an untreated deep wound.

I would pass it up the chain.

  • I had a killer who was acting like she had BBQ & Chili on. Didn't matter what side of the map we were from her, be we on generators or healing up (definitely out of range for nurse's calling) and BAM! she was right there. Like she teleported, except that she was a huntress. Then twice, she b-lined it right to 2 survivors in closets again starting from way on the other side of the map. She didn't have BBQ & chili, nor nurse's calling, nor bloodhound. It was super super odd.

  • I like Azarov's resting place as both Survivor and Killer. I do pretty well as either.

I don't like the boxy maps. And Gideon's needs some revamping, I detest it in both roles.

  • I've watched that I found it more a comedy than a horror movie.

  • I think a werewolf who can change forms would be cool! Get pounced on by a big shaggy wolf!

  • I hate it when randos suicide. Generally if I'm working on a generator I'll get it done then go to unhook if no one else is. Or if I'm injured I will try to mend myself or get another surge to heal me before going to unhook the person.

And it seems that they suicide when I'm almost to them. Like I'm at your feet! Dang you!!!

I always take advantage of a survivor keeping the killer busy. Like thank you! Let's see how many gens can be done before you go down. And I 100% expect the others to do generators while the killer is chasing me.

I have, while in Dwight, brought the killer right into the midst of 3 randos who were no where near a generator, not healing up, just hanging out. Like, coffee break is over! Enjoy the target rich environment. That game, the killer left me alone. I still unhooked them, healed them up, but not a one healed me. I was super lucky I didn't get hooked.

  • I'm hoping that his mori is to die by a swarm of bees!! And I really really want it used on me!!

(I'm that survivor who will bow when a fellow survivor gets moried just incase it can be done again! I love the animation!! The last one that I got was the hag, biting out my poor survivor's throat and then ripping out her heart! Absolutely loved it! I'm like, again! Again! Ooooo dang.)

  • I roll my eyes at teabaggers, whether I'm playing killer or survivor. It's just rude.

I would LOVE to see the Entity grab them by the ankles for like 20 seconds for doing it. I would cackle as I run by them in a survivor skin.

Now killers that beat hooked survivors... that is one reason I play my killer nice. I freaking hate it getting beaten while I'm hooked. Like shoo go away. In game terms you are destroying the hope that the Entity feeds upon standing there desecrating its meal. It would be great if the Entity penalised the Killer or just released the Survivor to run. Up goes the hope to escape, which can be crushed when hooked for the 2nd or 3rd time.

  • Given a stressful situation needs a stress release, I always figured Nea (in her punk version) getting it on with Jake and/or Jane.

On a psychological level, it makes sense. You escape from the brink of death, left someone behind and need to not dwell on the guilt or it will consume you and drive you mad that you've done it again. Enter a distraction.

  • I truly would love to see a survivor grab a hatchet to defend themselves as they rush out. And drop it.

But then I'm the player going we are 4 they are 1, let's rush them and take the weapon. Sure a couple of us may get dying status, but come on! Lol

  • Michael Myers, The Pig, Cannibal (how the heck does he get to run super fast in a straight linewhile swinging his saw all crazy like and not staggering????), and recently the Deathslinger because I've encountered so many toxic campers using him.

I enjoy facing Wraith and even Hag, Spirit and Nurse. I'm odd.

  • The matchmaking makes no sense.

    I'm a rank 18 killer. My bestie is a rank 9 killer.

I face survivors ranked from 1 to 14, he gets 12 to 20.

I seriously celebrated my 1st, 2nd and 3rd 4ks and managed to adopt 2 killers when I was still rank 19 and trying to just get 1 or 2 kills and at least 5 hooks without camping. (I personally find it boring to camp).

But seriously, it's maddening. I have yet to quit a match, though I have stopped chasing and just open the gate when the last gen is done so I can get into the next game.

I have had matches where the killer has quit and I'm like what?! My survivor is bouncing between 13 and 11 rank.

  • No.

The only time I'm motivated to gen rush is when facing a face camper. I'm one of those cheeky survivors who will do a gen that is a stone throw from the camper just to double confirm yup, they are there and not caring that I'm here.

  • Jeff got taken years after Legion. He was paid by the members to paint their hideaway, it was his first paid gig. He left Ormund and wound up coming back years later when his dad died. Legion was gone at that point because I believe his journal entry mentions that he went up there for a viewing of his painting and the locals thought it haunted or something. Poor bugger never came back down.

As to Hag, I always saw her as being between 1890s or 1910 or during the height of riverboats or just before it. Before everyone had nice lightbulbs and power. And really somewhere along the Mississippi because Riverboats were a huge thing back in the day. Blame a half forgotten research paper I did years back when my high school did the musical Showboat.

  • As a survivor, I've played games where I've been hurt or hooked and none of the other survivors want to stick around to heal me. Like hello! My injury makes me that much weaker for the rest of the team, especially against an oni. And I do work on generators cause hey, it's how we get out or get that trap door to spawn.

And here's the funny thing, I loved one of the oni players. He farmed me for my blood, until I found a chest with a fully charged medlit cause the one I came in with is empty.

The other 3 players had to be friends cause they healed each other but only unhooked me. I still had to play smart with getting put of the trial, but without those blood bubbles it was a bit more fair.

  • I faced 5 deathslingers in a row, had a 2 killer break, then another 3 deathslingers and yes all different names I had to check.

They all tunneled, face camped and beat the person hung. Like seriously? This was 2 days after the one that kept tunnel me and beat me while I was on the hook.

I'm to the point where as soon as I hear that gun go off I just keep to the far side of the map and practice avoiding cause it's not fun for me to be on a hook getting a beating. Yet I will stay on the hook so the other players don't have to waste their game time.

I have no problem with getting chased. With getting hooked. Heck even a lil camping or patrol not a problem, just not hardcore camping and a wack or 2 not a problem either. It's the constant hitting and shooting while I or another is on the hook. I swear it's the killer version of teabagging.

The Mummy was also a classic from this era.

Plus the dev's are all posting cat photos on twitter, and imotep was scared of cats....so....

In a lot of old ghost stories ghosties are scared of cats or cats are the guardians of the underworld and take wayward souls back. I will note, it's mainly European mythos and also found in Egyptian stories.

It's also why the salt for luck makes me giggle.

  • I tend to target brightly coloured survivors, cause it's like look! I'm awesomely good! Try and catch me! Or I need to be chased for a daily, pick me pick me! So I oblige.

As to getting focused on who will be hooked, it's the annoying survivors that are body blocking me, flashlight blinding me constantly, even when I'm just going around kicking generators.

If my daughter is watching me play, she likes it when I target Elf Dwights. Like seriously, she wants him to feed the spider god. So to Elf Dwiights, I'm sorry, my toddler's delight makes me smile. But she gives me heck if I hook a character that her uncle plays.

  • Is this the challenge for like 60 seconds of coop? All my friends did it in one go. As I was working on a different challenge I did it on my own in another game, also in 1 go. Bond, Leader, Prove Thyself, and then a bonus perk. Not a problem and healing folks with others also counted.

  • Well the original monsters I believe were

    Dracula

    Frankenstein's Monster

    Wolfman/Werewolf

    Doc Jekyll/Mr Hyde

    Monster from the Black Lagoon

The Blob (my mom really would love to see it on the game, for a senior lady, she's pretty chill)

I would love to see the Wishmaster brought in at some point. Or the lady from Dead Silence.

  • As a player who acts as the distraction though I can pound out generators pretty darn fast on my own, I get camped a lot cause I am upping my game on being a pain to catch.

And it would be excellent if the survivor so camped gets bonus bliodpoints for putting up with a super boring. And extra bonus points if the killer uses you as a punching bag rather than hunting the other survivors.

I'm a lazy killer (maybe a boring killer). I catch a survivor, I toss him on a hook. I look around for folks, find a genny kick it. Do a generator patrol unless I find scratches then follow the scratches.

That last one takes the gold haha. I have seen some quite bad ones with streamers when the game is lagging out. Gets me every time

Don't get me started on lagging. My gosh! I get it so bad as a survivor I teleport randomly to different parts of the map. Like seriously I will be running away from the killer and suddenly wind up somewhere else going ph frick! Where am I??? It's horrible when I'm running for the door and suddenly wind up somewhere else.

Haha yea I have seen my fair share of distance healing like this. Sometimes survivors heal the completely opposite way or sit on the survivors they are healing.

PS: That dragon statue is adorable.

That dragon statue is my daughter's. We have it inside so it doesn't get stolen.

  • I recently had a death slinger not only tunnel me for unhooking another survivor but stand there beating and shooting my poor character while she was hooked and fought off the other survivors who tried to unhook me. Finally unhooked he tunneled me again and again beat my character while on the hook ignoring the others as they pounded out generators. Once I died, he tunneled another player and beat her until the end game collapse and I'm like, how the heck is this fun???

  • I like afk killers unless I have a daily to heal or unhook. But running around a non cloaked wraith is awesome. I'm like thank you for the BP. Next round I can get my daily. It's doubly good if I'm trying to get a survivor's adept and had a string of being killed off super fast.

  • My mom and I have been musing who the new killer could be and we would both love to see Pinhead, complete with exploding chain traps and a magic box that survivors can fight over to stay safe (as in yes you can be hurt, you can be scared, but the Cenobites arent allowed to kill you). I think it may be too hard to code in but a girl can dream.

Candyman would also be awesome. We're both going no Jason, there are enough silent killers with dark clothing and white masked in the game.

  • Here's a different way to look at Kate's lore.

She has a corrupted melody floating in her head. It's 'murdering her muse' and she betrayed her foundations. Guilt and depression would give the Entity a way in. And call her.

But she managed to escape the Entity.

Pity. Cause she would have made a really cool lyrical killer . Huntress' lullaby already messes with Survivors' checks. Surely Kate could have been a bit deadlier with her song.

I'm hoping the next section has more for her.
