This is simply not true. Killers absolutely do enter the match with more power than the survivors. They are faster than survivors and have a unique power. It is not fair game at all. The power difference between killers and survivors is beyond ridiculous. The cannibal is an overpowered and unfair killer to play against. No killer should have an instant down ability as their power simply by pressing a button. There is no requirement to having this power. Its just there. It is killers like this (and also toxic players that play killer in a toxic manner) that not only make me want to stop playing the game but also influences my decision on recommending this game to people I know. This game is going to have to go through a lot more changes which involves a major decrease in killer powers (removing instant downs as a start) and a major increase in survivor power.
That won't happen, the plot of the game is you are stuck in an endless loop of trials against a killer who has been altered and influenced to kick your ass, the killer is meant to have the upper hand as they are the ones that control the trials, the fact you want pitiful little survivors to be on par with a killer who has been purposefully tweaked in order to fill survivors with hope and then crush it is quite frankly stupid. I don't think the game will ever make survivors as strong as the killer because they were never meant to be.

I don't think it was buffed enough.
I want it to effect cages but also be easier to get stacks in general.
As killer I can get 4 stacks of bbq easily by playing normal.
As survivor I have to compete with teammates and almost throw to get stacks. I'd prefer it to take 5 stacks of 20% and you get a stack for each gen completed. Or totem cleansed. That way all survivors can benefit, not have to compete for it, and get stacks by playing normally.
As has been clearly stated within the game, cages ≠ hooks, if no other hook perk can work with cages, it's completely bs to allow we're gonna live forever to work as well. Also I honestly don't see a problem with the perk, coming from someone who's mainly killer, I come across so many awful teammates when I play survivor that seeing good ones as killer is admirable, plus it's basically just the survivors version of barbecue - you hook to get stacks, they unhook to get stacks, the perk is fine as it is

Do you have a favorite perk build that would be considered non-meta, survivor and killer?
The latest build I've played with is Spine Chill, We'll Make It, Urban Evasion, and Kindred. Works well for a stealthier play style and forgetting hooked teammates back into the game quickly, but at the expense of exhaustion perks and other useful ones such as Borrowed Time.
I myself quite like running a sort of gen repair/protection build, Iron Will, Resilience, Built to last and Repressed Alliance, it's super wacky but it does work at times.
Another one I like to run is desperate measures, botany knowledge, blood pact and either resilience or we'll make it, very strong healing build
