I have stopped playing since December 2024 because BHVR has not cared about fixing high ping advantages, setting a ping limit nor adding more servers nor adding the killer's ping in lobbies.
Until I see that all of us play with 40 ping or less, I won't bother touching the game. You can give all the balancing of killers, perks, mechanics, maps and player interactions, but until connection issues are solved, none of this will make the game smooth. If I can load into a trial without having the need to check the killer's ping at all hits, that's the time it is worth coming back.
I have also spent money on this game, but it is what it is, and I played the mobile version too. I have never been so disappointed in a PC/console game over its mobile version. DBD Core has been a lot worse than the mobile version.
Once again, why is the community playing a game they have so many complaints about?

Once again a post about this topic that does not get the devs’ attention. Goes to show they absolutely don’t care about this even though it has been on going for 11 YEARS. 11 YEARS AND THESE DEVS ONLY HAVE 3 SERVERS IN EUROPE.

The only way I see for BHVR to fully address this, is to absolutely stop playing the game and spending money so their hand can be forced on adding more servers, a ping limiter or ping visibility in lobby or completely fixing the net code. If everyone can just stop their addiction of this game

All of you should be like me and just drop the game until they decide to completely address this issue. The only way BHVR will address this, is when they lose players. The fact that I play R6 siege and don't get any Russians on EU servers on that game says a lot compared to here on DBD, WHERE IT IS ALMOST EVERY SINGLE MATCH. Just uninstall the game and force BHVR's hand. I wish we can tag community managers on these threads because it is lunacy that they are just not responding to this. That new pallet perk is just a bandaid fix that does not target the main issues of the game.
BHVR just does not care about the competitiveness of this game. They have not improved the tutorials, they have not added any training mode that allows you to test things on your own, except for a custom match as your own as killer. They have not added more servers to minimise high ping players. The fact that as I survivor, the danger level against a killer in chase increases with the bigger ping difference is just a lack of competence from BHVR in addressing these issues.

Where is the video that shows this lousy management of BHVR going in this direction? I want to watch it. I have uninstalled and stopped playing DBD just because of their incompetence in managing connectivity issues. It gets even worse during events, and I am actually bewildered that there are still people playing this game considering that when the game connection is screwed, YOUR EXPERIENCE WILL BE HORRIBLE NO MATTER WHAT. All the balancing is useless if servers are terrible and if players with high ping are allowed to play the game.

😍😍😍😍 This is the only thing that will make me return to this game. When I see all players have this ping. BHVR just does not care about fixing this issue. They only care about adding more skins and content without fixing phantom hits that ruins all the chases.

I have uninstalled this game because of this, and until they address this, I am keeping it off my steam library. Balancing won't affect anything if they keep allowing high ping players in the server. I don't care about balancing issues, map fixes until this first gets addressed because the game will be unplayable.

I have uninstalled this game because of this braindead issue that BHVR does not bother to address. I have even answered on the survey that the only thing that will make me return to this game is when they either:
- Limit the ping in the lobby to 60ms
- More servers
- Let us see all the players' ping in the lobby so we can dodge the lobby if it's against a killer of 60ms ping or higher.
In events it gets even worse, every single stupid killer in the even has 60ms ping or higher.

I have stopped playing the event because of this. It's unfreakingbelievable that BHVR does not bother to find a fix to these. If there's one thing, I don't care about tunneling and slugging update or killer updates. I want high ping to be properly punished or allow us to dodge lobbies with high ping killers without any punishment or show the killer's ping in the lobby. It's your job to ensure that your internet is appropriate for online gaming, and if you do not have good internet or are far from the servers, JUST SIMPLY DO NOT PLAY AND RUIN THE EXPERIENCE OF OTHERS.

Unbelievable how this has been ignored for a long time. EU servers are infested with high ping killers. Add a ping visibility in lobby or ban anyone with above 100ms or put a ping limit in this game. I returned after a week to play and the first two games in EU server are against killers with 130ms ping or higher.
