To be fair I think what is happening is those are situations in which the killer is hitting you, and would be getting stunned in turn (a lot of the time, sometimes a killer would get stunned and not get hit but it's netcode more than anything really); but the stuns themselves are bugged.

So it isn't some huge game breaking "omg survivor is now impossible" like some folks are saying, but it is a big issue that needs to be fixed.

It looks far worse I think than it actually is under the hood, because the result is that it looks like they are just hitting you through/over the pallet. The fact it happens on both screens too means it probably isn't a netcode issue, it's literally just the stun itself is bugged.

Survivor isn't impossible with this bug but it is a huge detractor from the fun knowing that you might play correctly and still be punished. Plus I've been stuck on the stun challenge for a good minute now lol.

  • I don't care about toxicity at all because I know by the next match I'll have forgotten everything that happened the game before. Even if people are actively trying to annoy you they are just playing the game to have fun... Same as you are. Be annoying back and lighten up a little. Some of the most annoying killers and survivors I've gone up against were sweethearts in the endgame chat and didn't mean anything by it.

  • I'm a killer main too and I'm all for killer supremacy... but not like this lmao

  • https://youtu.be/LdhAz62nXNs I made this to show what I'm talking about. Theres always been laggy interactions with pallets like this but with this patch they seem like the new norm.

  • If you keep ghostface centered in your view that's the best chance you have of revealing him. You can do it in full cover as well. Ever since I started doing that I've had no issues really. The mechanic definitely needs a rework though. As a ghostface main I feel bad revealing one entirely from behind a rock or something stupid like that. I feel like it should be an actual staring contest.

  • It's not exactly the most fun playstyle but if you feel it's necessary then you're free to do as you please. I like making bloodpoints more than "winning" the match, so I hook my survivors.

  • I really enjoy how expressive DBD is without a game chat so personally I don't like the idea. However I'm all for more gestures!

I only camp when I want to make sure the survivor is safe and okay and doesn't get depressed being all alone. I think just having one person by there side makes then happy.

Thank goodness there's still kind-hearted people in this world. You are appreciated.

  • I was having this issue as well until I realized my monitor was off.

  • I don't want your stinkin' hatch. WIGGLE GANG

  • I just want a practice mode so I can learn more advanced survivor movement. I only get a few seconds of practice here and there because I'd feel bad if I let the team down practicing my moves in a real match lol.

  • I personally wouldn't want to farm as killer so I would just get rid of you if you tried convince me somehow. I play video games to play them. There are situations I let people live and get some points like if they have a real bad game or their teammates disconnect or something, but I'm not about to bore myself for like 20 minutes. I'd much rather get stomped by a swf.

  • I'm a Ghostface main and my favorite build is Haunted Grounds, Undying, Barbeque and Lightborn if I see flashlights. It's not a meta build at all, but it is fun. For some reason I think the idea of me staring into a flashlight is hilarious so that's the whole reason I do it... plus I like the chaos of all the one-shots.

  • I'd like a practice mode if nothing else. There's alot of stuff in DBD and it would be great for new players. I personally just want it to practice moonwalking without the threat of being murdered lol.

  • If a killer catches me and its checkmate but they try to let me escape, I just gaze longingly at a hook. I didn't earn it... I don't want it!
