  • just to clarify, my intent was to understand what others players thought of that perk, certainly not to fight XD.
I still remain convinced of my previous analysis, but I'm glad I become aware of other opinions.
I suppose this is the meaning of the existence of this forum haha

    Hahaha no

Its a mix of bitter murmur and a mori. The perk its actually fine depending on the build you got in especially to kill the DS user if you usually ignore them in your games. So you can kill them if they are greedy as they usually are

Let's just stop screaming about perk changes where isn't needed

Thanks for your answer, but i don't think what you said it's true.
You said that rancor is a mix of bitter murmur and mori,
    well no
1)Yes, you can kill someone, but only the obsession and only in the end of the match (if you reach to catch him).
2)Yes, you can see survivors when the last gen is fixed, but for only 3 seconds, and try to see carefully everyone position in 3 seconds if you're in a chase.
But i think i've already said these things before.
I'd like to know in which good build do you use it, because at the moment i don't see any.
And last thing to say, there are some perks that extremely need a buff, as Overwhelming presence, Left behind, Pharmacy, Vigil, Surveillance (I could continue all day). Do not say that you use or have seen someone using them, because it's nearly impossible, and even if someone uses them, honestly I don't think it's an high rank player.
So yes, i scream and I'll scream until these perks are going to be as useful as the others.

I've seen so many comments from so many players, but i think maybe only 3 or 4 of them really know how to use nurse in a competitive way.
I know, i've used her for only 300 hours, i'm not a "nurse master" yet, but maybe i know something about her and her power.
    I've read somewhere someone saing "used in right hands it's OP";
    Right. Totally true.
But from "used in right hands it's OP" to "Devs have to nerf her" there's a lot of difference.
The Huntress, Hillbilly if used in right hands could be devastating too; even a good Myers or Clown could give lots of problem to survivors.
So with this logic they've to nerf half of killers only because "in right hands they could be too strong?"
Man if you agree with that you probably have never known the meaning of "skill".
Now second claim: "4th and 5th blink are broken"
Here i have to agree; it's not impossible to win against, but i admit it's very difficult, maybe like the one-shots hatchets before the nerf.
Increasing the malus of those add-ons could be good, for example adding to the green add-on that gives 1 more blink and the violet one a reduction of blink range (for the violet a major reduction of range).
Before clicking the button "dislike" while destroying the mouse, imagine: the only way to get 5 blinks would be using the green (or the brown) and violet add-on, but now it would have not one, but three range malus; quite the same to obtain 4 blinks.
I think it's a good solution; in this way you can always obtain 4 or 5 blinks, but it's a way more difficult to win with than now,.
I'm not going to answer to the little part of players who says that "nurse must have only 1 blink without add-on", because it's ridicolous, and i think everyone can agree with me. The only tip i can give to you (person who agree with that) it's to play a bit with the nurse, because i think you've never used her.

Uh sorry, now i'm noticing that doesn't exist a "dislike" button lol

BBQ doesnt need a nerf. I rarely get caught by it because I assume everyone has it and act accordingly. Run one way while you count to four, then turn and walk another way.

As others have said. Ruin is almost a necessity. Killers absolutely need a perk to slow down gens. As far as other gen-slowing perks go... Lullaby needs several hooks to take full effect and can be destroyed before it does anything. Overcharge requires that you kick the gen, and skilled survivors can just make the check anyway (I almost always fail the first overcharge check, but after that it's easy). Thanatophobia is near-worthless... Even with Thana 3 and all four survivors injured, it only adds 12 seconds to a gen.
I agree with you...killers must use at least one perk to try to stop the gen rush, and the better perk at the moment is ruin, but as said before, it’s to easy for skilled players to pick perfect skill-checks and to destroy it.
I think that the best thing could be to have two perks against the gen rush; ruin for 20-15 ranks, because of the difficulty of the skill-checks, and another perk, maybe tanatophobia (but improved because now is nearly useless) for lower ranks.
if nothing will change, maybe we should consider the idea to use killers and perks for the end-game (pig/noed ecc..)

Like a number of issues, I feel this isn't a one solution fix.

I agree that camping makes the game unfun but the thing is, it has already been mentioned before that camping is a part of the game and the reason why people do it is because it works. The killer knows the survivors will be coming for the hook, what reason would the killer have to leave if they know they can easily secure a kill with this method or once you come into the circumstances where your only option is to camp? (for instance, you hook a person and that hook was right next to the gate)
By all means I think changes should occur to make the game as fun as possible and I can agree with that much but I do not agree with your suggestion to fix camping however as survivors will simply just all sit near the hook and try to distract the killer for as long as they can right infront of their hooked teammate. It's the killers job to get kills by any legitimate means possible just as the same applies to survivor in terms of surviving. Keep in mind that a solid amount of the perks added in the past infact attempt to discourage camping whether directly or indirectly, perks such as devour hope, BBQ & Chili, Make Your Choice and survivor perks such as borrowed time, kindred, unbreakable (well...for slugging I should say, so maybe not this perk) and we'll make it (if you got 6 seconds to spare not counting medkits or other teammates).

TL:DR - That's the long way of saying that camping is simply part of the game and it would be hard to come up with a reasonable fix for it.

Also keep in mind, there are a number of tools survivors have access to which make the game unfun for the killer as well, so even if a valid solution were to be made for camping you would also need to focus on those other problems as well. (though I believe either the next or one of the upcoming updates will be a great help for that)

    I completely agree with you
Lot of times survivors laugh when they save their friends with the flashlight, or when they finish all 5 gens in 2 minutes, maybe after destroying the ruin at the start of the trial too, but then i don't think they should shout "cancer" in chat if the killer has caught and face-camped them.
I've seen people complain because I used the NOED, or even BBQ and Chili, only because they are perks of the meta; it's like i complain because you use self-care or decisive strike.

  • I don't think it would be really useful nerf killer perks nor survivor perks; but you have to agree that in higher ranks survivors are a way advantaged than killers, thanks SWF and Items such as purple flashlights and new pieces.
Please don't kill me, it's only an opinion XD
