If they don't want your heals, you can heal me. Seriously. It is way better than it used to be. Just walk away. That used to be more complicated.
I'll take your word for it being worse, but if I have Sprint burst, escaping my teammates' reckless attempt at points wastes it.
  • A hooked survivor means -10 points in benevolence for entire team.

Unhooking them gives you 20 points and returns those 10 points to entire team.

If however your unhook goes down before 10 seconds, you lose 30 points = -10

Unhooking survivors is the easiest way to get iridescent in benevolence.

    Protip:
There's 60 seconds until the entity is spawned, so use that time to do gens or you'll havev wasted their possible hook perks too (Kindred)
  • I'm glad some people agree with me hah
It was the most frustrating game ever
  • On PS4, whenever a survivor starts healing me, after tapping me they stop like I moved or something, so then they have to start again. It's really weird. I don't move or do anything, but something interrupts them when they first start healing me.

I've also come across a glitch a couple times where I would heal a survivor, the bar filled and cut off my being able to heal them, but then as they started walking away they were actually still injured. They'd come back to me and I'd have to tap them for the healing to be completed.

    Same AF.
My teammates have had to heal me several times because of something interrupting them no matter how still I stay. I also struggle with healing my teammates when I have to keep re-healing them. It's gotten both of us hooked in prior games.
  • Option 1 would lead to terrible semi-infinite looping. Option 2 sounds more reasonable.
Well possibly, but loops aren't that hard to beat if you're a skilled killer. (Mind games)
Option 2 is my preferred one as well.

There is a hook spawn on the upper floor, right next to the generator. The problem is that its not guaranteed, if I remember correctly. So, yes, if RNG screws you over, that can still happen even after they purposefully added that hook there.

Oh I see, I'm almost positive my game didn't spawn one up there, but yes, it should be gauranteed.
