  • I am experiencing the same "issues". Before lights out during the day I always had 100% survivor bonus switching to 100% killer bonus from around 8pm to 1 am. Now I have maximum 50% survivor bonus and most of the time 25% bonus during the day while the queue times are almost instant. I haven't seen killer bonus over 25% until now.

  • I learned I don't need Windows of autopilot anymore to loop and path through the maps. I never tried to get rid of it out of fear to perform incredibly bad.

  • I only played killer so far and I don't see the benefit in doing the blood things or to bring the event offering. Walking around and setting up the zones takes too much time and the BP gain for doing it is not worth it. Or I'm just not understanding it? Finished every trial between 50-75k BP, survivors had less in the majority of games.

  • Playing both sides almost equally, I think it is Killer sided in the majority of games.

Average Solo Q matches swing heavily in quality between getting slaughtered at 4/5 gens and having a really good match with 3/4 survs escaping. I don't blame my teammates besides killing themselves on first hook or giving up at the slightest inconvenience. Everyone has poor performance in his matches from time to time, so do I. The lack of communication is such a big factor.

Killer matches are more consistent in quality and I almost never have the feeling the match is unwinnable. Of course there are really good swfs out there, who give you a hard time, especially late at night or at the weekends. But hey, I can't win every game.

  • In the last two days I already faced a lot less xenos as in the first week. Maybe 4-5 in 20-25 games. Add a few weskers, blights, nurses, huntress and you have the standard rotation. A small rest can be filled up with a mixture of spirit, nemi, bubba. Maybe 1 out of 25 games has a killer I didn't mention. (Only my personal experience)

  • I have been playing on PS5 since September for round about 300-400 killer hours and most of the time I'm fine. Yes all techs or counter techs which require fast flicks are harder or not pushed to the maximum efficiency, but you still can do fine.

If I lose games, not because of playing with controller but playing against better survs who can loop me/outplay me and I would have lost with mouse and keyboard too.

As a counter viewpoint to the other posts here, my solo experience feels much different.

There shall be some matches where things just go completely terrible and certainly there are trials where other survivors make some rather questionable plays. No doubt those who complain are also viewed as responsible by others too, so I do throw a lot of shade on the claims that it's "always other team players". Everyone cocks up, including those who complain.

However, I've not experienced these trials on such a negative level as others. Often I have been fortunate enough to play alongside skilled players or players who instinctively know how to work as a team with others. I've even been tallying results and, in the last 19 trials, I have escaped (through the exit gate) 12 times and used the hatch 3 times. I guarantee that nearly all those escapes should never have been possible, were it not for the other players I was with.

So I do feel that, as a solo player, the experience has not been bad at all for me. I believe often a bad experience will always be remembered far more than a good one. In fact, two of my deaths from those games stands out more than any of the wins, thanks to a rather livid Wraith in one and a Meg working with a Huntress in another. Those 2 games stand out. I am certain that, had I not tallied my games, those 2 would marr my experience and make me feel solo is crap.

I share your thoughts. Overall the matches are fine and I'm having fun. The HUD really improved the gameplay. Over the last one-two months I definitely had an escape rate > 50%, which is only possible with lovely random team mates who are juicing.

However sometimes massive losing streaks happen. Today I played 10 games and escaped 0 trials. 9 of this matches were not even close and ended before all gens were finished. It just feels the matchmaker wants to bring you down to the desired 40 % escape rate at any costs.

  • I have my best results in SoloQ from Monday till Friday during daytime. In the last two months my escape rate is around 50%. I have the feeling killers are not sweating this much as in the evening/night/whole weekend. My mates are pretty decent too most of the time. Of course terrible matches occur and sometimes I get a losing streak but overall I'm fine with my matches.

  • Sometimes one survivor seems unnatural fast and it takes forever to catch up in comparison to other survivors in the same game. Like with hope but from the start of the game. Of course I check the perks, but there is nothing...

  • First report the persons at the score overview after the match, as this probably sets a flag. Always record your games to have video proofs. After that open a ticket by yourself or the chat bot "observer". He will guide you through the steps and ask for the needed informations including the video.

You saying Knight is strong? LOL you can land the orb thing almost directly on top of a survivor and have it not activate on them. Then when it does they just outrun it 75% of the time anyways. Like it needs some built in function to avoid downs at all? That is so silly. You have INSTADOWN killers but knight who has to work for the hits has the silly built in make survivors immune to his own attacks feature? Horrible function.

Playing without the addon map of the realm is really a pain.

Are the streams you are watching live?

Because if they are not, chances are they simply aren't uploading the bad losses.

Yeah sure. But they are tunneling, camping and slugging regularly, so they really want to win every match.

  • I have around 250h as killer. I assume with spirit I have my highest MMR, because here survivors I go against are really good and in worst cases I only get one or two hooks. Not a single mindgame works, they know how to run every tile and building, they seem always to know where I am, and so on. Of course it feels bad to lose that hard, but I'm fine with it, as they are clearly better.

What I don't get is when watching popular killer streamers, who are winning in more than 90 % of their matches, the survivors seem to be worse as the ones I'm facing. They get super easy hits and the survivors can't loop efficiently. Is it only because the streamers are that good and don't let the survivors shine? It just looks so flawless from my perspective.

  • I had the same issue again after 5 days without DC.

This has been going on for almost a year now.

It's the tome challenges. Just unselect all your challenges and try again.

It's a joke how they refuse to acknowledge this as a real issue.

I gave it a try and it's working for me for the last three days without DC. Hopefully it's not only luck.

  • Same here for me on PS5 since the midchapter update. I get the "disconnected from host” error too.

It happens on killer and survivor side. I can't relate it to something special during the game and it does not depend on the daytime. It can happen close after at the start of the trial or when all gens are finished.

I can play 20+ matches without error only to have two disconnects in a row.

While playing survivor I sometimes think the killer has the same error, because of killer DC while clearly winning.

My internet connection is stable and I'm not facing something similar with other services.

  • I have got tunnled and watched tunneling to my mates several since the update, but in my opinion not significant more than before. In SoloQ it is hell as always... The bandwidth of game quality is huge. From getting slaughtered at 5 gens to 4 survivor escapes with 0-2 hooks for the killer-everything is possible.

Playing on the other side as killer during SWF prime time at the weekend is crazy. Gens are flying and I often feel tunneling (or pretending to do so) is my only chance to apply pressure to the team. Even when playing survivor in SoloQ and the killer plays normal and I have decent other survivors at my side, the killer often has a hard time resulting in 2+ escapes.
