7 games out of the 15 i played today i got at least 2 survivors with bnps. Don't know if the addon is getting nerfed soon or something because holy ######### those gens are flying.

Nerf killer please btw i should be able to 1v1 them for 10 minutes

"Nerf killer please btw i should be able to 1v1 them for 10 minutes"????

Nah...You get only 2 minutes. 10 minutes would be dragging the game! ๐Ÿ˜‹

He's got issues that can be solved. Therefore I like him rather than love him. I love his potential.

I don't know what people are talking about when they say he's not scary. He's like a real life deranged psycho, the scariest thing on planet earth.

The other killers on the list can be their own star in their own horror movie. And some already are the main character in their own horror movies! This Trickster looks more like a survivor than a killer. Look at him. Do you really think he deserves his own horror movie? I don't think so....

  • @Adeloo said:

I mean i already do that : 3 specifics perks + 1 that goes well with it

Well on survivors that are not Yui or Zarina which are the ones i main ^^

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1974700#Comment_1974700

Well only people who don't think enough will do that : Laurie only good for DS and Hag only has hex totems so it's pretty hard to defend them.

    --

Nah i rather be either a Dwight (info about others and killer position + faster gen), Meg (3 godlike perks) because those perks don't have counter, where a Bill Unbreakable or a Laurie's DS would always be counter by either not slugging or slugging.

As killer, i'll say Nurse, Plague, Bubba and Trapper. (hillbilly is a good choice as well but i don't like playing him) Others are either weak combo (Doctor small TR useless with Overwhelming) or really counterable such as Spirit : you would pre-drop pallet to counter spirit fury and never cleanse any hex totem

    Who's "Bubba"???

  • @kingcarl2012 said:

The only one for me that i will instantly give up on is a decent huntress running iri head + infantry belt. I will try and play against iri head but that combo is borked.

Aha! So, it was YOU who DCed on my first axe throw a few months ago! ๐Ÿ˜‚ I am very pleased to inform you that I have reported you after that match!! ๐Ÿ˜‹

I find it so funny when people talk about how much they hate nurse/spirit every time they face them. These people just hear that these killers are OP, and kind of just give up. Against average red rank survivors, these killers are OP in the hands of a good killer. However, most players playing these killers aren't that good, and are incredibly predictable and easy to bait. People double back far too often vs nurse, and even more often vs spirit. My point being, people get mad at certain killers, when the people playing that killer aren't that good most of the time. I would never DC out of a game just because of a specific killer, but my least favorite killers to face are Twins, Deathslinger, and Hag (Hag is only for solo queue). None of these killers are even close to being OP, but they are so oppresive in certain ways that it's a problem. A Hag who knows what they're doing will decimate literally and solo q team, same goes for twins. The difference between the two is that twins have less counterplay, but Hag has stronger potential. Deathslinger is actually quite a weak killer, but he is so oppresive in the right hands that I just despise him. I would never DC out of a match because of it though, because I respect the other players in the game enough to not ruin their experiences.

We need more honorable players like you!

And, not only you respect other survivors by staying in the game, you also don't get *punished! (*longer wait for next match + de-pip!)

That's why we have DC penalty, evenutally people who quit won't be able to play. Hook suicides evade that but hook stages overall need rework so hopefully it will be adressed then.

It would be even better if MM was designed so that people who quit often get paired with other quitters, that way they can enjoy each other without ruining games for people who don't quit.

Hahaha! They can "enjoy" ...AND...annoy each other if they still DC/RQ even after being paired with equal-minded players!!! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Freddy, I can understand. Maybe even Ghostface.

But why on earth would your teammates kill themselves against Michael or Wraith?

Why even play the game in the first place, if they they hate a couple of killers??

  • @Superyoshiegg said:

The only time I will do this is against a Spirit running Stridor. I simply don't find her fun or balanced, so I refuse to participate in that match.

There's no interactivity in that match. As soon as you get injured, the chase is over. Might as well give you a Deep Wound timer that doesn't pause while running, because there's no way to avoid even a mediocre Spirit player who has good hearing.

I'd rather face a 5000 hour Nurse main who hasn't left their computer chair in three weeks. At least those players have to have a modicum of skill and game knowledge to play her well.

Even in a match where the Spirit player is bad and all the Survivors escape, that match still wasn't fun anyway. I don't get anything out of it except minimal Bloodpoints and most likely a safety pip because the Killer played poorly enough that you'll get barely any Benevolent and Evader points.

    Boooh!!! ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿ‘Ž

I bet you RQ/RC with ANY killer that has Stridor!!

I haven't seen a survivor grief/afk because they don't like the killer in months, but I see people kill themselves daily. You can't do much about it as the killer, I usually give the last survivor hatch in those situations so at least they don't depip.

I sometimes let the remaining 3 live if it look bad for them and they are not skilled. I simply farm them and don't hook for final time but I leave them on the ground and chase the others. And allow them to finish the generators. If they are skilled players, I kill all but bring the last one to the hatch!

    Yeah I don't understand it.

Killers get decent BP anyway and get instant queues.

Survivors have to work for their BP and have 10-15 minute queues, and you're playing as part of a team.

It doesn't make any sense to me to throw a game as a survivor.

I can't stand it when one of my team mates kills themselves on hook. I recently had a match against the Clown in Lerys. I got hooked in the basement within the first 60 seconds, my SWF buddy came down to rescue me, meanwhile the other two randoms got hooked on opposite sides of the map. I was being healed in the basement as the Clown was clearly patrolling upstairs, so it didn't look good, but once healed I got a chance and pegged it for the closest survivor while buddy went for the other one. We each got there... just as they let themselves die.

We then proceeded to run rings around the Clown for a good 10 minutes and even got 2 gens done. We could have won if they hadn't sacrificed themselves.

I've seen this so many times...But with 1 player who ("accidently"?) kills self right before I could unhook!! ๐Ÿคจ

  • I ALWAYS report AFKers, Suiciders, DCs/RQs, whether I'm a Survivor or Killer! ๐Ÿค“

  • ๐Ÿ˜

Design: Doesn't look like a monster. Okay, not all killers are monsters. But they all have something in common: they look threatening and could fit on their own horror movie poster. The Trickster doesn't look threatening at all!

His ability: Shoots knives rapidly like a new Overwatch character. This make the game look like a shooter game when you play as Trickster!

Conclusion: He doesn't look scary at all and his rapid-fire should earn him a spot on the Survivor side! The only survivor who can throw knives to slow the killer down...with a 60-second cooldown at tier 1. And 40 seconds at tier 3!

As a Survivor I rather have The Trickster as teammate! I don't want to be forced to run away from this rapid-firing K-Popstar!!

As a Killer, I wouldn't like to play as the Trickster. I would rather hook him!! :P

  • You should REPHRASE the question. I vote YES: SURVIVOR SIDED!!

  • Why did you group them together??? I LOVE the Twins: great design and good skills/gameplay.

I hate the Trickster: Awful killer design AND skills too!

Design: Unlike all the other killers, he doesn't look like a creepy killer at all. He couldn't even have his own horror movie! He looks and SHOULD BE a Survivor!!

Skills: His rapid throwing knives make him look like an Overwatch hero! He should be the only knives-throwing Survivor (with a 60-second cooldown at tiee 1) who can slow the killer down.

  • 1 - Visually, for a KILLER, he has a BAD CHARACTER DESIGN! At first glance, unlike ALL the other killers, he doesn't LOOK threatening AT ALL! He doesn't look like an EVIL character from a horror movie series!

2 - He doesn't sound treatening either. He is even the ONLY character in DBD that speaks!!

3 - Even THE LEGION looks more threatening/menacing! (This says enough!)

3 - His weapon (throwing knives) looks like he fits in the OVERWATCH universe!

4 - His mori look like from Mortal Kombat: FINISH HIM!!!

5 - Visually and gameplaywise he doesn't fit in Dead By Daylight...as a KILLER, that is!

6 - BUT!! He looks more like a COOL SURVIVOR!! ๐Ÿ˜Ž He definately SHOULD BE A SURVIVOR!!!

7 - AS A SURVIVOR he should be the only Survivor who can throw knives at a killer (with a 60-second cool-down at tier 1) to slow down the killer!!! THIS WOULD DEFINATELY be more acceptable and believable! ๐Ÿ˜Ž

  • I've seen the beta of a new killer, which is basically a gay man in underwear. I have nothing against the LBGT community but he doesn't scare me and neither does he even look a teeny-weeny bit threatening. He should be a survivor, not a killer! Because he LOOKS like a Survivor, namely, Yiu's younger brother! -_-

  • @Jay_Whyask said:

Going to be hilarious watching everybody suddenly become Laurie and Hag mains.

I would rather be a Dwight (fast leaeder) a Claudette (self-help!!) Survivor. For killers with their own perks, I would choose not hag, but The Pig and the Trapper. Oh HillBilly's perks can be quite useful too!

  • I've seen red (and purple!!) Survivors kill themselve, thrying to free themselves from the first hook! Worst thing is, they can SEE me running to the rescue!!! I think they do it on puropse!!! ๐Ÿ˜ก

  • NO! It wouldn't be scary hearing a non-scary kid (or teen) Killer trolling the Survivors.

BUT proximity chat for ONLY Survivors would be great, but this could be exploited by the Killer, if he/she watches (and hears) the chatter on one of the survivors live-stream...

  • YES! Because now there's so much advantages (more information) for either the Survivors AND the Killer!over the traditional Hud.

    Survivor Advantages:

1 - Survivors can SEE the character (faces) each player is playing (who is this "Claudette" is something from the *past. Just look at the HUD! (*Unless there are multiple Claudettes!)

2 - We can see WHO has been hooked and how many times! No more guessing if a random player has been hooked once or twice!

3 - We can see how much time a hooked survivor has left before the Surivor gets sacrificed!

    Killer adavntages

1 - Now the killer can see how well (or bad!!) he's doing by seeing in the HUD how many times he has (or not!!!) hooked the Survivors!

2 - The Killer can SEE the character (faces) each player is playing (who is this "David King" is something from the *past. Just look at the HUD! (*Unless there are multiple David Kings!)

3 - Killer can see how much time a hooked survivor has left before the Surivor gets sacrificed!

4 - The Killer can now see WHO has been hooked and how many times! No more guessing if a random player has been hooked once or twice!

I think the New Hud would work if it was still placed at the previous location, down at the left!

But I'm getting used to the new placement...

EDIT: Forgot to add, I don NOT like the new location of the Spectator HUD/Control buttons. (all the way up!!) It was PERFECT in previous updates! ๐Ÿ˜ช Now, I have to always move my mouse (PC gamer) all the way up accross my screen to reach the Spectator controls...

  • I can't vote because I agree on both answers. And I speak as a 2000+ hr player! As a Killer I feel relieved I can get those pesky tea-bagging survivors down at the game's end. And also I feel great to punish Survivors for not "cleansing totems"!

Then they dare call me noob for clubbing them down! Double satisfaction and I am happy the devs have included No One Escapes death! ๐Ÿ˜

  • Killer Perks

    Short-Sighted!

Survivors usually spot the Killer's Red Stain from very far away, giving them the upper hand! This perk gives them a handicap: Survivors don't see the Red Stain when further away than 40/36/32 meters from the killer.

Killer's Advantage: Survivors can not detemine the killer's position.ย

    I See You!

Every 60/50/40 seconds, the Killer sees the aura of all Survivors for 5 seconds. Doesn't work onย Survivors that have anti-aura Tokens/Perks!

    HEX: Dark Speed

For every hooked Survivor, the Killer gets a 1% movement speed gain with a maximum of 4% for 40/50/60 seconds!

NOTE: Unhooking a Survivor doesn't change anything!

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Survivor Perks

    Let's Do This!

After repairing a Generator, the Survivor gets a 5% Haste status effect for 20/25/30 seconds. This means 5% additional speed increase for repairing, healing, vaulting, sabotaging, unhooking, totem cleansing, opening the gates, etc.ย
