It’s currently £3. So, less than my coffee.
I’ll probably pick it up then, even if the online isn’t too good anymore it sounds like there are still things to do.
For £3 then hell yeh man you will get at least 20 hours of play out of the offline missions and stuff and unlocking all the Jasons , enjoy :)

There is nothing wrong with going alone , if you enjoy the movies then go you don't have to go with people. I have a membership card and I often just go on my days off if my partner is in work. I like to get myself hyped up for whatever I am going to see and to really take it in as a solo viewing. I saw some great movies and even went to see a couple a 2nd time round alone after going with friends to take them in more e.g Halloween 2018 I saw 3 times , 2 of those alone trips just to take it all in.
If anyone there thinks your being strange ######### em your there to see the movie same as them but unlike most of them who go for the social aspect of a cinema experience you have gone to appreciate the film and take it at it's best. Just you the dark room and the big screen. Go enjoy that movie my dude my choice of snack is Blue MnMs and a medium coke and just let that movie wrap itself around your brain.

I had it on release, it showed so much potential after me and a set of friends backed it financially but then the licensing issues came into play and everything just stopped from there. Online you won't find much in a way of it being fun and it is quite a limiting experience if it is HEAVILY discounted I'm talking maybe 10 to 15 pounds (dollars whatever) It might be worth picking up for the virtual cabin , single player missions and occasional offline play when you need a break from the DBD formula but not much there for you to get deeply invested in Multiplayer wise.

From my experience this depends what rank your playing at , if your in the 20 - 10 bracket along with those other survivors a lot of them are either new , don't understand or are genuinely bad at the game. This leaves them to not fully understand how unhooking helps your chances of escape as a team not just individually.
I would recommend if you are solo Q to run maybe 1 or 2 intel perks that helps your team see or realise the potential for assisting a hook save and if they need to get on it because no one else is. for example bond or kindred (kindred I find helps people to realise the situation of the game at that time and if the killer is close to the hook.
In reference to your post it seems you had a couple of bad games in a row with a couple of unsavoury team mates and I understand how that feels like you most of my friends have dropped off from playing the game as of late as they were not too impressed with the new chapters and changes to the game. You have to make the best of a bad situation and expect that it is harder solo Q because you won't have that communication or assistance of an SWF lobby. In one of your comments you said were red rank and that's good man I'm stuck around rank 5. It's the roll of the dice sometimes you get a good teammate set who gets hook saves can be in chase for a while and allow gens to be completed but 70% of the time your gonna have at least 1 teammate who is either genuinely bad or doesn't know what they are doing and that's just how the game is.
It isn't a case of "get good" or run DS and BT it's just how the game goes. I run kindred because it helps my team understand the scenario at that time when it comes to unhooking and if anyone is on their way to help me. A trail is a collection of events or scenarios e.g. 1 hooked , 2 on gen , 1 in chase. If everyone can see those scenarios better then it helps get across what they can do to help much faster.
Best of luck in the future

I think for myself I think once I kind of got into the game so post 20 hours or so I forget to just enjoy the game for a while and got genuinely upset at how games turned out.
Been a long time but just sometimes people "like me" need a reminder to just enjoy the game and being immersed in the gameplay, also not to read or involve yourself in post game chat it almost never ends well

I submitted a support ticket as I also had the same happen alongside my cosmetics being missing, I have been informed it is a visual big they are aware of that is being looked into - I had a response on this at 21:50PM UK time reading :
"Thank you for reaching out. We're really sorry that you're experiencing issues with your currencies and cosmetics going missing. For now, please know that this is a visual bug in the game that the team is currently addressing. We understand that it's important to know the exact balance of your currencies and we have this issue as a top priority for a fix. The good thing is that your currencies are still there and they didn't disappear. We hope to have it resolved in an upcoming patch. Rest assured that everything is being done to have it fixed at the earliest possible time.
Please continue to check http://forum.deadbydaylight.com for updates.
Until then, thank you for your patience and understanding.
See you in the fog,
The Dead by Daylight Team"

I always wanted to buy it on my Switch after 1500 hours and getting all the teachables on PC but I won't purchase until this is an option, would be nice if DLC carried over too but i don't know how that would work

Why do you let 13-year olds get to you?
That's part of the problem, be more supportive dude, I have a rule of if I have a bad game I just re q and move on but for some people it has a really negative impact on their day or mental health.
I certainly hope the people in the above screenshot a do have some punishment because it's almost rediculous they can spout words like that without A having some action taken place seriously dude I would open a ticket with support and get these cretins taken off the game and B anyone who can roll words like that off their tongue with no remorse and sleeps at night doesn't deserve a damn thing.
Enjoy the game OP remember the avg is 2 kills per game at red ranks and my rule is don't read the chat and re q. Be safe

This is pretty spot on I would have trapper in top tier for sure, maybe swap huntress for trapper but also most comments in this seem based on how hard they are to play against
On general terms this is accurate but it would change depending how good the killer player was
I imagine this is accurate for green and purple ranks though

facing a killer with ebony mori is one of the most un fun things in the game. Unless the killer is really bad then you’ve basically lost as soon as you’ve loaded into the game.
if you want to remove keys to make it fair then go ahead. Ebony mori is just an insanely unfair mechanic that needs to be removed.
I think it should be changed , I play both roles at red ranks and the same way the key is a long haul for getting most the generators done and having to lose some team mates to possible get use out of it , maybe have the mori work after 2 hooks or after the survivors blood counter reaches a certain level?

I think the current idea is too strain the game and make it more difficult for both sides which means taking more power away from both sides, It just comes in waves to each side, I think arguing that things have been a "good year" for either side is not the best point of view given how many changes come with each mid chapter update.
The BIGGER changes like the ruin nerf or generator and item changes will stand out but there is always little things being changed, Sometimes it is a loss for killers and sometimes for survivors.
Until proven overpowered or under powered by playtime and testing I would not rush to assume this is gonna be a bad change but survivor mains tend to be a little whiny, I play both sides at red ranks and just have a rule of just playing to enjoy. In the long run both will get use too the changes and the game will feel normal again it isn't gonna break the fairness of the game otherwise they would not add it in.
But you are correct in your approach to survs saying get good apply pressure about ruin, They complain about this well it is only fair , if games are shorter then chases need to be shorter too to even it out

Please add in an icon next to players' names in lobby that let Killer knows which one is in SWF mode.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/448/G0M59R1CBKG4.png
Or even less that just give us an icon to know if there are any SWF at all
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/624/39GW0Y8SA9RV.png
So at least we can bring in a better Killer, add on
As a Trapper main, for me those coil add on makes disarm trap slower are the most useless. Many time I use double coil add on just to get rid of them. And vs a hard core SWF with 3 head on.
But this would only serve to triple lobby dodging, mori use etc. I play both sides at red ranks and both are as bad as eachother. To an extent it would be nice to know pre hand it was swf but you would also wanna know what killer it was pre hand. It goes both ways so this would only serve a negetive impact if added

Playing with friends, It's almost the only game we play together now and how we spend most our time and what we spend most our time talking about
