I understand every killer has a limitation here and there but I feel Legion has too many in comparison to other powers. Its just every aspect of the power has more drawbacks then normal from basic function to add-ons and perks. Frenzy only boost you to 130% and has no add-ons to make it any faster. Spirit, since this is the example, moves at 176% at base (if sources are to be trusted) and has add-ons to go faster in addition to the post phase boost whereas Legion gets stunned instead. There's other factors of course, but no one in their right mind is going to say Legion is anywhere near spirit level of power. it seems like they took a ton of negatives and just threw it on legion because of the initial problems or something. Just a quick list of fundamental drawbacks

    Legion:

    1) Non-lethal

    2) slow moving

    3) long CD

    4) getting stunned takes you out and drains the gauge

    5) getting out otherwise stuns you anyway for longer

    6) waste of time on injured survivors

    7) not using the power and swinging normally drains the gauge, despite point #6

    8) can't read auras

    9) can't see blood

    10) can't see scratch marks

    11) can't use unless gauge is full

    12) Getting blinded cancels the power

    Spirit:

    1) is 110% killer

    2) can't see survivors

    3) can't see auras

    4)can't see blood

    5) can't use unless gauge is full

    Oni-chan:

    1) is M1 killer until power is charged (gauge is full)

    2) Global que on power use

    3) can't turn well

    4) Mini-stuns everywhere

This is off the top of my head so I probably missed a few here and there (not to mention I'm no Spirit or Oni expert), but there's just SO many drawbacks for such an underwhelming power and there's no real way to make it much better since no perk works with the power and half the add-ons are just a waste of BP I'd rather not even pick them up. I should be a least a little excited for a purple rarity add-on, instead its "Oh great, stab wounds study, oh and a mixtape. Greeeat. Oh look dirt! oh riiiight they nerfed it. Nevermind. Oh look a knife, oh, they nerfed that too." I get other killers have some high end add-ons that are kinda meh, but this seems like overkill.

Damn thats brutal, tbh being a Legion main, I never actually knew he could be blinded and that would cancel it

What I’m trying to say is, the devs’ regard towards Legion is somewhere between ”hateboner” and “literally who are they lmao” and these dumb, poorly-polished aspects of their kit are just one example.

    #########, you right

  • @Demogordon_Ramsay said:

The same reason why Legion loses all sights of scratch marks, blood, and I'm assuming other forms of auras.

    Because Legion.

That doesn't mean anything. Legion can't even down people with FF not to mention run nearly as fast as he should.

  • @Jejune said:

If i understand it correctly you can fill it up sort of like pebble but in this scenario you have to be in chase. And you can only use it for 18s in one match sort of like lucky break? If yes then it wouldnt be worth taking tbh, if on the other hand you can use this perk multiple times per match then it would be cool in theory.

no, much like pebble, it can recharge after it has been used.

I'm sure the devs will tweak how the bleedout timer ticks down, like making it a set radius not the terror radius itself. To be honest, I'd argue that they should buff the FF movement speed even more. It should let them cover a sizeable distance considering you can't even down people with it.

I AGREE WITH THIS, I WOULD EVEN GIVE UP MENDING TIME FOR MORE DISTANCE

  • @Peanits said:

I'm not necessarily against the idea- it could be very nice for solo players- but the distance would have to be much higher than 40 meters for it to be useful. To give a comparison, Bond is 32 meters and shows you the location of all survivors within that radius all the time. For this to be picked over bond, you would need to have a significantly higher radius, otherwise it would just be preferably to give yourself the extra information and go to them instead.

    Activate-able perk

Those who seek guidance will always come around

Whistling allows survivors within a 52/62/72 meter range see your Aura and only yours for 10/15/20 seconds (there will even be a little symbol beside their perks letting them know that someone has whistled and they are within range)

You may whistle every 30/30/25 seconds

Whistling while the Killer is 25 meters away will give the killer a notification to your exact location

Go to a goodwill and look for bicyclist clothes that are similar to his.

Buy a sewing machine and sew together different fabrics for his mask.

You wont find an exact outfit for joey, that's the whole point of cosplay- making the outfit come to life from nothing.

    Good luck

well yeah i wasnt expecting to find his straight up outfit online somewhere xD

i meant good clothes to use as a base for everything, like what kinda hoodie i could use as a base or for the love of god i cannot find that pant style anywhere online

Any kind of bandana or headband should do the trick.

@Spotsy https://youtu.be/cHlScT5KfuE?t=57 This is a video of the render of the Legion members. I already bookmarked Joey in the link, this should help you greatly!

thank you for the link! this should really help c:

    Legion <3 Susie and Frank.

    but Joey :'c

  • this is pretty reasonable, i like your idea

  • i also think that with this new version of the legion, they should make it take chunks out of the bar instead of draining the whole thing upon missed attack

The focus of Legion was switched from Deep Wounds being their main power to Killer instinct being their main power (the red aura when you stab people). Therefore while Deep Wound itself does not contribute to gametime all that much now, you have an exceptional ability to keep people injured.

Legion also has slightly more mindgame potential than the average killer due to their size. All the small killers suffer from a speed loss but Legion runs at average speed making them able to do mindgames at low hanging loops that most killers cannot do. For instance some of the junk on Autohaven Wreckers goes above your head and makes you unable to be seen by the survivor, whereas every other killer would still be visible.

To take advantage of Legion's strengths, you want to run perks that keep survivors close together while making healing difficult to encourage people to stay injured. Running Sloppy Butcher alongside Feral Frenzy time addons allows you to keep survivors injured for longer and reach them easier. If they heal then they waste tons of time due to Sloppy Butcher+the small amount that deep wounds adds, and if they don't heal you are a 115% speed killer with instadowns. So basically a perma T3 Myers. Corrupt Intervention is also fantastic for pushing survivors towards you in the early game while preventing some gen progress, allows you to get people injured faster. Other than that you can run standard looping perks but I perfer Bamboozle and Discordance for shutting down powerful loops and further taking advantage of survivors grouping up.

On how to play them, Use Feral Frenzy to locate survivors, sometimes hitting an injured survivor into deep wounds with Feral Frenzy is worth it to get the Killer instinct to proc on a healthy survivor somewhere else. Legion benefits from switching targets most of the time. When using Feral Frenzy make sure to fake pallet dives to get people to waste pallets (as they are looking to stun you.) And when you no longer need to use Feral Frenzy get as close to a survivor as is beneficial before canceling it. Often if they are no loops in the immediate area they will gain at most a 2-3 second head start on you, meaning you can quickly down them from injured. Otherwise take advantage of your small size to mindgame survivors. As a 115% speed killer you have a lot to benefit from mindgames such as light hiding, double backing, moonwalking, etc... and very little to lose. Your small size only further increases the chances you get to use it.

It's definitely a big change, but I think the main reason why people think Legion is so much weaker is due to their playstyle being completely different. I've actually done consistently better as Legion since the update once I got used to the playstyle.

gotta say, im not fully changed to think this update for legion was good, but im happy you took the time to give a suggestion on how to play him now, some of the things you mentioned seem like they might actually be a good idea, thank you

DS needs to ######### destroy the Killer, their computer, and account completely.

"BAD WORD" LMAOOOO thank you for this xD

  • I really hate going against the Doctor, mainly on the game because it almost feels like there is nowhere you can go. Other than that i feel every killer is unenjoyable to go against but thats the point of the game. You are supposed to feel worried and unsure of your fate.

  • killers should have the option to play with a swf lobby or just solo's

  • @ZiNc said:
While this is a nice idea, I believe that any speed above the standard 115% when uncloaked would be a bit overkill. He already receives a 126% speed when cloaked.

    Any thoughts on that?

yeah thats why i said its probably far fetched. the cloaked speed is nice and all but i really feel if there was no uncloak speed decrease or it was atleast far shorter (even with tinkerer and the two best reappearance addons i still feel sluggish) i just really hope they make Wraith good again. He's my fave killer, the idea of him, his power its just so cool and it sucks i cant enjoy him because how bullied that killer is.
