I never said that, you just got super defensive because your argument is used against you.
What you are not taking into account is that to get good survivors and good killers, you need to help the mediocres getting out of that pit. Or you maybe just don't want new people at your party so you can just keep using the same excuses to complain.
MMR is not helping in that regard either. Sink one good survivor in low MMR and he rather single handed runs the killer for 5 gens, or when the killer get's to them facecamp happens. The killer improves 0, ranks up, only strategy is to tunnel camp if they want to keep up.
No one is screaming about tunneling or camping, but as long as you or others only see things in one color, ignoring everyothing else, this is never going to be sorted. And using baby excuses won't help in any way.
Maybe it is you who shouldn't be speaking, at least without really thinking

People want killers to act like cute little pets, always prioitizing the other party's enjoyment over their own. Winning is the most enjoyable thing and as it goes, killing survivors is no matter which way u do it. The only reason u are angry and u stroke post on the forums is because u lost. Either quit the game or consider improving at it. Honestly if u managed to get tunnelled and lose against nemesis on the game it screams skill issue.
One could say the same the other way around. If your only way to win a game is make sure you get one hook and then keep taking down the same person before he can recover, it screams skill issue. Specially taking into account the way you talk, as it sounds like the only way a hook happens is survivor poor skill and not a good killer player

Another bad Survivor who keeps losing chases so you run off to the corner of the map to heal while your other teammates gen rush lol
Gen rush = Doing gens at the only speed they can be done while the killer fails to put pressure on the survivors

This would make it a lot easier to find survivors sneaking around in the Boon healing area, would make it easier to find which totem to snuff out and would prevent games turning into HIT SURVIVOR, Survivor HEALS, HIT again etc.
Alternatively, increase blessing time of Boon totems to 60 seconds but buff their range and some of the weaker Boons.
Sure. Let's mark all killer areas as well: BBQ, Discordance, Terror radious, Jolt... If killers can see affected places, so should the survivors.
Also, why an area? Assuming that you can find the center of a circle, why not showing the totem already in blue for the killer too?

I hate to break this to you bud, but killers are the only ones who have different MMR. Your survivors all share the same MMR...
Give it a try. And even more, play that one survivor you hate. See what comes.
Now, look for a game with the one you rock, and once you have your teammates assigne, change to that awful survivor and tell me what happens

If you offered a map that is of great advantage to you and you disconnect the second you are not winning its just funny, they offered coldwind, but when things didn't when their way they just dipped, its quite humorous.
It doesn't have anything to do with winning. I've escaped plenty of matches where I was hooked within the first minute, sometimes being double hooked before the second gen popped, and a few of them even being the only one surviving, so "winning" is relative.
But one thing is playing a disastrois match because the killer is playing you like a punching ball, qnd a different thing is being unhooked in the face of the killer, without BT. Because basically, you are not playing, someone is just being an idiot and running your game.
On the other hand, we are ignoring the real punishment: MMR. Once you start to drop, it's a nightmare. I main Jake and my MMR is decent, usually getting nice matches with nice teammates. The moment I play Leon, for example, escaping becomes a utopia, because I barely user him and I'm paired with worst players and it's really hard to move up on the ranks with him

Me. I would want to play. I don't go into solo queue with false expectations, and I've never once quit early in anything remotely competitive because the other team impacted my fun. Play the game out and don't queue again. I honestly cannot believe how many people never got this lesson in sportsmanship from their parents.
It IS DC culture, because there is a whole slew of players (The majority of the community) that do not do or complain about this nonsense.
It is not my style, even if I understand where it comes from.
Also, I think you use "the majority" pretty lightly. I don't get people like this even in 10 percent of my matches. And even if I got 1 in every match, it would still be 25% of the people, which is far away from the majority.
Also, in all fairness, when someone does DC, it's as frustrating, if not more, than one one is farmed on hook

I never understood cowshed until I had a bubba archive and cow-tree was connected to a strong window on another tile and THEN, then, I understood the complete and utter nonsense that is cowshed. Every single survivor knew how to run it. I was bloodlust 3 for at least a solid 2 minutes.
Edit: To the people defending DC culture. Shame on you.
It's not DC culture, but being unhooked to be taken down immeditely again, or left to slug for a whole minute because of DS fear because a bad teammate wants to farm you is not fun. It impacts how the rest of the game is going to be for you, and changes of it happening again are high.
Why would no one want to pay with someone who is going to throw your game?

Can you lose your powers for the entire game with Myers? Yes or no.
Only if you keep feeding without making good plays with it, gotta learn how to use it effectively, 50 / 50,
Can you lose your powers for the entire game with any other character? Yes or no.
Piggy, Plague with red vomit, (only killer in the game that can be stunned to lose said power,) tech GF since he's just mikey but dumbed down and stalks infinite but can also be broken outta stealth / stalk with bs camera angles,
Legion can be put off their power by being stunned. And Oni don't need to injure anyone to get power. Just to gens that have been worked on, for example. Survivor actions release blood orbes.
Plague prevents people from healing, rendering med kits useless; they are also noisy and dangerous to others as they will infect windows, pallets, lockers and gens, which can affect others, plus you just need a buñit of puke to set a timer on the survivors until they are broken. And then if they cleanse, they power you up. And if every single fountain is used, you can't go collect your power in any of them but you get it immediately for free at the moment it happens.
The pig can lose her power for the rest of the game, but RNG can play on your favor, as you don't need to be chasing survivors to get them killed, and every time you scare them and they let go of the box, they need to restart.
None of this makes this killers better, specially pig, but one has to be fair to what the powers do.

After almost 3k hours, I've finally leveled all characters to lvl 50 and got all perks on them, got prestige on 5 killers and also on 6 survivors
A friend of mine started playing a few days ago with the lastest Steam promo, well, I was teaching him how the bloodweb works and... I just forgot how boring and massive it is to level all those characters to lvl 50 and take all the perks, he almost quit the game that day
DbD is turning 6 in June and I heard the devs already know about this massive farm and they're probably going to solve this (but this need to be implemented in the game sooner than ever, in the anniversary event if possible)
This massive farm makes a lot of people quit the game before they even start to have fun with the meta perks
SOLUTIONS: 1 - Remove perk tiers and make all them tier 3 in blood web (removing yellow and green tiers)
2 - After unlocking lvl 40 on a character you already unlock the option to buy those 3 perks on another character without rng
3 - Increase a little bit of bloodpoints earned in matches, actually you can farm 27-30k, maybe increasing to a maximum of 40k-45k will also be helpful
4 - Grey addons (surv and killer) should be base kit, remove them from blood web (PLEASE)
5 - Reduce bloodpoints items cost: grey (base kit), yellow 2k bp, green 3k bp, purple 4k bp, irridescent 6k bp with rng rarity
This changes would reduce drammaticaly the massive farm this game is dealing with
All suggestions are welcome here! 😉
I agree with you.
We have a bloodweb developed for a handful pf perks, and not for the over 90 we have now. Plus there has been no evolution at all, nor an increase on the amount of BP that can be made per game.
I have all the surv lvl 50, some prestiged once ad 4 completely prestiged and with all perks.
And here is the thing, I want to prestige others and get all the perks, but I don't want to throw away BP looking for a perk that is not showing up because eventually I'll prestige them and the idea of the waste makes no sense.
By lvl 50 you have around of 20 purple perks and 5 yellow, that means there are 70 perks missing and the amount of hours ahead...
I hope you/we are heard

I think NOED is fine as is. Survivors have a ton of second chance perks, so killers get theirs during the end game. The big 3 are: NOED,No Way Out, and Blood Warden. Yea I agree it does kind of reward bad players, but eventually most will get better at the game and move away from it. If it gives them value, then that means they’ll enjoy killer more and Que up more for it. Even in 2022, knowing NOED exists still gives me a bit of an adrenaline rush and anxiety (in a good way) if I’m in chase healthy, and the last gen is being worked on. I can usually\ tell who may have it by t\he way they play. Yea it sucks running them for 3 gens only to get smacked by it because of the speed boost. But I just take my medicine and move on to the next match. Sometimes you get lucky and your teammates find the hex and get you off and out the trial. Makes for really good games.
‘I have a few small game/counter force builds too, that are really fun when you prevent NOED from even popping, then seeing it on the post game screen after everyone escaped. Feels good.
I'd argue that if new killers rely so much on NOED, they might not move on ever as they will still play in a way that will keep a fallback, and once they see they actually needed as they learned that way, there might not be going back.
On the other hand, you have new survivors that might get crushed every time and get discouraged from playing as everything was for nothing.
And I am just mentioning that because it's your same argument on the other side. You could even say that about DH, for example. But then it becomse meta.
My problem with NOED es that it gives you all in exchange for nothing. All you need to do is equip it and sit back. You don't need to build it up, nor protect it because it's not there, and sudenly you become faster and get instadown, negating even saves from healthy surv.
I am OK with the existece of the perk, but I despise it's state because as I said, all for nothing

I don't think you were meant to reply to me but you did so I'll respond anyway
Solo queue shouldn't have to use perks, items, or addons to get information that SWF get for free and thinking they should only perpetuates the lack of balance in this game
Yes, sorry. I meant to mention the same person you mentioned. Thanls for replying though. And as you agree and replied, let me answer as well.
Using that logic, we should also be able to know who the killer is chasing, where in the map, what pallets are being dropped, where thers surv has seen the traps for the hag or the trapper, as well as if someone has passed by a hex whilw running or looping the killer...
Yet again, as I said, the problem is not about having that information. I don't mind sacrificing that perk slot, the problem is that once I am on the hook and that perk is active for everyone, a huge amount of players don't know how to use all that information. I've seen guy running to safe me, while another one is standing, and the first one turning around running away from the killer, while the other keeps crouching around unable to understand that this means free way to come and save. If you turn those explicit auras into icons that won't give the second survivor the position of the killer (you can guess accurately where he is because it should be within a few meters from survivor one), that sirvivor won't do any better.

Hopefully it takes less time to appear after anniversary than Boon Totems and/or the basekit Mori and key rework they've been going on about for a while
Sure do.
I run kindered because I soloQ and never, while being on hook, have the other survivors done anything stupid like stand still, walk really slowly or even crouch towards the hook or something alike (all of them together). What people need is not babysitting, but to learn to play.
If that information is also fed, what else than pressing a button is left to do while you are sitting on a gen?
Learn to read the map, who is working there so you can pick up when you finish whatever you are doing, or where not to run to not run the killer to other survivors. Even seeing which direction the killer is leqving the hook helps a ton.
The only way to solve this is by smarten up in game, or communicating. Otherwise, even if you know 3 people are on gens, which one will be the one who decides to go for the rescue? Who will consider to be the most fit to do so.
Want that info? There is a perk for that that I already mentioned, kindered.
-
If you can hear the terror radious, why do you need spine chill? That perk allow you to make a move before the killer comes. Once you are on the terror radious, the killer might be coming while looking away so you don't get anything from it, which is the workaround already suggested.
Someone suggested that it shouldn't work when you are oblivious, which is a great idea. Plus maybe nerf some of the buffs it gives to the survivor.
