Where did I say they shouldn't fix it? Just because I ask for one thing doesn't mean that I don't want another. I expect them to fix the game, that's their job.
I have already put my two cents in about what I think of this update in a couple of other posts I made, covering both the countless gameplay flaws and bugs and some of the idiotic cosmetics they gave Élodie that bear practically no difference to one another yet must be bought separately.
Not only that but the posts covering the devs faults in this update all say the same thing over and over and over and over again. I for one am prepared to forgive BHVR if we are compensated in some ways, whether it be blood points, iridescent shards, auric cells, or even changes to features disliked by many (such as linked outfits). For a company that has given us so many good things over a number of years, people seem overly happy to instantly turn on them for this update.
I along with the majority of the community have seen BHVR make decisions that the community don't like. This chapter was obviously the one that tipped the community over the edge, and they have received serious backlash for it (as evidenced by these forums alone). If they decide to fall in line after the current backlash, I will be more than happy to forgive BHVR. If they don't, the community is obviously going push even further for change.
TL;DR: I don't like focusing in on mistakes, I would rather hope that the devs decide to take the right decision after this wakeup call, if they do, I'll forgive them. If they don't, I won't. Simple as that.
If 'the right decision' is making a skin, you're BHVR's target audience and they will be very happy to redeem themselves to you.
Those who insist that gameplay in a game matters more, on the other hand...

Tried to boop a Pig's snoot at the end of a round once. Gestured it to come over while approaching. It insisted on staying back and motioned me to leave already. Guess not all Pigs are used to humans.

the other killer are too weak...
2 killer are to strong (op isnt funny to play vs them)
Nurse: are no problem because you never see a very good nurse player... the nerf was perfect
Spirit: take stridor with a headset and ez win, because surviver dint know where she is, she has a nerf, what where was the nerf ? "haa i thing she has a nerf...yah i dont know where is nErF for her xD"
About the Spirit "nerf":
On versions 4.3.0 and 4.3.1, a bug with Spirit emerged where you could hear her breathing while she was phasing not from her husk but from her actual location, so you could potentially determine her position while she uses her ability. Many were aware of it but the bug remained for long enough (and maybe the ability description changed?) that people became convinced it was a nerf to the Spirit's denial of information. Version 4.3.2 fixed "an issue that caused The Spirit's breathing to be heard while she was phasing" and this nerf vanished.
Scott Jund has a video on the 'nerf' and how it works in practice:

When a match against a Demogorgon lasts more than 3 minutes and without any DCs, I'll probably tell you what I think about his theme, but for now I'm gonna agree and go Pyramid Head. It's always great to stealth around a Pyramid Head, and the chase music is enjoyable, erm, punishment.

People seem to chalk this up to bad memories being more memorable than good ones, or not encountering toxicity personallty, but OP is referring to an easily observable recent trend in threads about toxicity. We should focus on what is causing this to happen just recently and not before. I wouldn't know as I have been playing for about a month, but was toxicity just not a thing years ago, or did a coincidental influx of toxic players happen just now? Maybe it's related to a relatively recent game feature?

As killer, maybe you aren't being saved because even though you're not being camped, I am in pursuit of your would-be saviors and, well, their hands and legs are tied up at the moment with some extra work. Hope they are brave (or stupid) enough to unhook you during the chase, optimistically with BT.
As survivor, I understand if you don't run Kindred to get better odds for yourself outside of the hook, but if you do, you're still increasing your odds on the hook on average by giving info. Sure I see what the other survivors are doing but there are easier-to-control substitutes for that effect and I don't need that info all the time. Oh, and I think I'm going to wait a little before coming to save you to be sure that the killer is not waiting for an overly altruistic player who answers the call for help too quickly.

You're going to get a lot of backlash.

I've had some absolutely miserable trials as killer where o kill everyone and get told that I have no leg to stand on because of that.
One in particular that sticks out was against a hacker. This dude had everything: speed hacks, no collision hacks, instawiggle, instaheal, instagen, intasabo, you name it and it was probably in the game. Long story short, i refused to DC and managed to trick him into getting hooked, after which he ragequit about 10 minutes into bis nightmare trial. I killed everyone, because they basically just didn't go gens. And his teammates got into the chat and practically screamed about how fun it was, how hilarious it was, and just had absolutely no empathy whatsoever, didn't care about how miserable it was, they just told me that I should have DC'd and eaten the penalty and that they basically didn't care because they didn't escape.
Would love to see that recorded. Screw those guys. You went above and beyond the call of duty.

This is a good thread to see as console player, no doubt, but why would you censor the killer's name?

Is playing SWF actually harder than solo or what? SWF defenders keep saying 'git gud' regardless whether or not they acknowledge the benefits of communication. If SWF objectively gives an advantage over solo, you have no right to say that.
You can defeat (or play well against) SWF as killer, but it gives them advantage great enough that players need to study particular strategies with particular killers that expect survivors knowing more than they can from in-game means.
You can defeat (or play well against) a killer as solo, but you lack the advantage from the above group and, even if you're playing with a 3-man group, you'll need to bring perks that locate important objects and allies to have as many information as a group, and as fast as they can have it (especially on console).
Communicating externally during a round when you cannot do so in-game clearly affects the gameplay balance, and since there's no reliable way to prevent it, and no guaranteed way to detect it, the game should be redesigned around it, not the players.

They're not cosmetics, they're consumables, you're meant to use them. If you want to hoard them instead, then it's like hoarding in any RPG: Your problem.

Your post might have some meaning, but the screenshot is just an ego boost making you feel big because you dominated one match. Congratulations.
The screenshot is proof that he did perfect by the game's standards, even though he felt like uninstalling at the end. You can't reject the point because it looks like a flex.

As a console player, I don't really have a reliable way of finding out who's SWF as I don't get endgame chat, and I would definitely love one to find out if I'm being outplayed by a 3-way of good solos who know when to save someone else from a chase or simply had no close friends in mind when bringing BT or OoO.
A point bonus (scaling depending on two-man/two pair/three-man/four-man teams) would be great, but at minimum there should be a visual indication in the post-game scoreboard which people were matching together, so that I no longer have to guess whether Dwight was teamed with Meg, Claudette or neither.
