  • It shouldn't even be a thing in the first place, the whole thing about STFBL is it's strong if it reach full stack but can be countered by (smart) obsession taking hits, the fact that killers can bypass the counter by using M2 is so dumb.

  • Modding is not going to happen because of the licensing issue. Unless dbd release a big license chapter or a completely new game mode the playerbase is just going to get smaller and smaller, it's a 7 years old game after all.

    Edit: Now that I think of it the licensing issue can also apply to the new game mode. They would probably have to update the contract for every licensed chapter.

    Exactly If I want to do gen I can just play the normal mode.

    Maybe something like if you get downed as a survivor, you become the killer's minion, you have to help killer to find the other survivors, minion can grab the other survivors and send a notification to the killer. In this mode there's no perks, no heals, no scratch marks and no terror radius. You have to survive certain amount of time to win.

    Imagine being the last one alive and hunted by killer and their minions.

    I remember there's a similar game like this many years ago but can't remember the name.

    Yeah it's like a basekit kindred but it won't show the killer location so it's not that strong to replace kindred, since it wouldn't show killer location it wouldn't be effected by openhanded neither.

    It would also give the hooked survivor a reason to stay and not be punished that hard just because they got found first. So if they are really getting camped they are at least getting some bp out of the match.
