So for example, why is Ghostface considered a weak killer compared to Blight who is considered a strong killer?
This might be a stupid question but it could lead to an interesting discussion which gives people a greater understanding to the killer power disparity.
A good blight player gets everything done quicker. Your chases are quicker. Finding people is quicker. Getting to gens is quicker. You get the point.

I would put a large sum of money on a bet that says the twins end up broken

Why don't people enjoy playing him?
I've been playing him since the day he came out, and I think he's the only fun killer in DBD. No other killer has appealed to me as much as him, but why don't people like playing him? He has style and a good power (if you're skilled and know how to use it, and don't spam it randomly).

To be blunt im terrible with him lmao. The design and music is cool but I'm just not good enough with his knives. I feel like the payoff isn't good enough either if you are good with him. He has the same counterplay as the other ranged killers except you have to hit them like 6 times. I suppose he is a bit better than others while out in the open.

Which is kind of funny. If we recommend the unknown gets some minor number tweaks we sound crazy to BHVR. But they will add the krasue the in and not bat an eye.,

Have you thought about it? because of every update that hurts the Killer side of things especially weak Killers this encourages them to use stronger killers or do unsportsman like things like slugging or tunneling in response
Pallet density and Generator repair speeds are part of this problem. skill or not. if it is based on skill how come more powerful Killers have became more popular/adopted recently the ones that depending on how you look at them, take more or less skill such as Wesker or nurse because of their high mobility?
Even I started to use them more often because I am not trying to slug as Billy sure Billy can destroy pallets instantly with this chainsaw but he still has to rev up the Chainsaw for longer than it would take to just break the pallet.
it does not help when the Survivor can just constantly pre-drop pallets and move on to the next pallet just 10 feet away doing this for the entire maps length as three generators can pop in the first minute of the game because of gen rush perks and tool boxes
I guarantee there's at least one peron, running weaving spiders in a third of every game anyone plays and on top of this.
the new survivor has not only a generator perk that can be paired with other generator perks and items to constantly get great skill checks that can complete the generator in half the time by Yourself.
But a perk that encourages you to be stealthy and not even take up chases but also lets you escape from chases extremely easy because you leave barely any trace or tracks to follow or go off of after the Survivor runs away faster than majority of killers to somewhere out of Sight, but can also be paired with perks that do the same thing without any requirement
I could literally run a circle inside of the shack and have my scratch marks disappear before I can Circle back to them because they disappear just around 3 seconds or less thats about the same amount of time it takes for a killer to damage a generator in

Let me know Your thoughts on this one
If you look at the math, when a game has a very coordinated SWF, it is survivor sided. The killer has to have extremely unrealistic chase times to get a 3k. Throwing perks into the mix and items make it even worse. ( Ironically the only thing that can change it in the killers favor is tunneling lmfao)
But the majority of matches when it's a killer vs random survivors or even just 2 groups of 2 friends I say the killer has the upper hand most of the time. The only exceptions are probably the super low tier killers like ghosty, trapper and skull merchant. I'll even throw in dredge after the pallet update since that butchered his anti loop entirely. It's just to difficult to coordinate against high pressure killers when you have no communication. And this truly is the majority of matches.
Overall though just being realistic ASYM games are hard AF to balance. Behavior has done pretty good all things considered. Look at games like VHS and TCM. The balancing was so bad it literally killed the game and queue times were terrible. The only other ASYM game I can think of with good balance was F13. BHVR have just put themselves in a bind because they have to choose to either balance around SWFS or randoms and they're trying to do both which isn't working. Example 4 survivors having BNP is completely different if it's a SWF or randoms.

Unknown seems to be in a pretty balanced state

Dbd 2 would be the end of most players who have at least some financial restrictions.
I would NOT rebuy this game. Not even talking about DLCs.
What BHVR needs to do is stop churning out chapters like there's no tomorrow. Spread them out. You have time to fix bugs in-between them.
This is probably the most feasible option in my opinion. I know people would love for this game to be perfectly balanced but with how many bugs this game has this has got to be where the devs start. I'm fine with going a few months with no new content if it ment every month there was a bunch of bug fixes

No it's absolutely not wrong to say your enjoying the game. I enjoy it to, there is really nothing like it. Sure there are other asym games but the vibe? For me, unmatched. I have so many memories in this game it's not even funny. Late night with friends on survivors or really close killer games. And even though I enjoy it and you enjoy it's okay to acknowledge the flaws of the game. If we don't point out issues or report bugs the game would die. And well since I enjoy it I don't want it to die.
Also don't let others make you feel bad about enjoying the game. Some people genuinely force themselves to play this game and let their anger get the best of them. It's probably best to avoid end game chat as both killer and survivor. There's more toxicity than positivity unfortunately.
Keep playing, keep having fun, ignore people and remember, it's just a game.

Yeah my issue is there's so many pallets in range now you don't actually have to play a tile vs a killer without a chase power because if they try to mind game you can just hold W to the next tile enforcing a REALLY boring playstyle. It's a shame some people don't like looping nowadays because not every tile is some super safe "you can only get mind gamed if you don't pay attention" tile.
Like MOST pallets are playable but obviously not the ones like the midwich hallway pallet. This is a great point. I really feel like this impacted the dredge the most. He was a little weak but still balanced but with this new pallet update it just kills his ability to zone with his remnant ability. Once they see you hold the power they can just W key to the next pallet and ignore it.

I think people who downvoting you simple are not aware of all the changes that have been made.
You can't seriously tell me that buffing map like Asylum, that has allready great main building and the map is pretty big is something that was good choice. Go look on Youtube or in custom games for your self, its absolutely overdone on some maps. Not all of them, like Haddonfield needed more pallets because that map was awfull for Survivors and now it's better.
I probably should of clarified what maps I meant I really wasn't talking about haddonfield. But yes some of these maps are just spawning every possible pallet. For a game that wants to encourage killers to chase more and get more hooks this is certainly a step in the wrong direction. It's really hurting low tier killers more than the A-S tiers

I think this was their attempt at taking a step to make a killer that could genuinely compete without tunneling, camping or slugging since they had some extreme changes related to that in the PTB. Unfortunately it was overtuned. What stood out to me is that she is the only killer that really feels like she controls the chase rather than the survivor. (I'm not counting spirit or nurse because they kind of ignore the chase aspect completely). Blight is really the only killer that rivals her in terms of pure M1 chase control. It defiantly ignored the typical dead by daylight killer formula in a sense. In a world where they added preventive measures against slugging, tunneling and camping, she might be tuned right. In the current dbd build, she is defiantly over tuned.
On another note I do find it a little crazy they implemented this killer at this strong of a state but when someone says something like trapper should start with his traps or pig should crouch faster or Freddy should have dream pallets and snares those changes either never happen or take years to even playtest in the PTB. It's not like thoes changes made Freddy or pig OP. I truly dont think that would even make trapper A tier if they implemented that. Oh well, that part was just a rant.
