  • I love being tunnelled, I want to be chased all game, I literally have not had fun playing survivor the past 3-4 months except for the games i got tunnelled

  • it's fine, i want to get tunnelled, being chased is the fun part of the game, i don't want to hold a button all game. Even if it's a killer that's not fun in chase then i get to die first and go next and find a killer i like versing lol

  • ezgif.com-gif-maker (2).gif

learn blink deadzones, there's like 2-3 on most maps that you can extend chases with that the average player could learn to counter nurse :D

  • An important part of medkits is that you don't need a 2nd person, this is important for 2 main reasons.

    • The extra time spent trying to find another survivor to get the heal, and time to get to the place you are healing and back. It also let's the killer know that 2 survivors are together as soon as they heal, so if they're mid chase they know there can only be 1 survivor currently on a gen, which then let's them estimate how much gen progress survivors have, and whether they should drop chase or not
    • You cannot leave an injured person zoned, for example if we think of ARP, if an injured survivor is on shack side, and you know no other survivors are on that side of the map, and the killer is focused on main side for whatever reason, if the gens are all on that side, or there is a hook on that side, they can basically ignore that survivor and focus on the others, or the injured survivor has to run past the chokepoint and risk giving a down to the killer, or a healthy survivor has to basically give up a health state to cross to the other survivor
  • me going out of my way to 1v1 nurses in custom games for hours straight cause every other killer bores me :D

  • most brain numbingly boring killer to verse, i love holding W for a full minute because they're a 110 killer then i just either die on short wall tiles, or i just hold W on a tile and they hit 1-2 knives every loop around until i go down then there's 1-2 gens left

  • just remember self care got nerfed, and COH untouched :D

  • imo people rarely verse twins, therefore don't learn how to counter them to addition they are a killer that requires more coordination to counter, solo queue impacts them even more. Twins will either 4k a team without coordination / solo queue, or will struggle get hooks vs teams that know the counters

The general counterplay that you rarely see despite it making twins the most miserable killer ever to play

    • Forcing locker when charlotte is far away, no injure from victor, and no power for a bit
    • Running in duos, injured person takes down if charlotte far away, healthy person picks, or if charlotte close heathy person takes victor then both run & repeat with a different healthy person runs to the person with victor and the other heals (coordination reliant)
    • To guarantee the 2nd point, when charlotte nearby, injured person crouches in a corner or jumps in locker, and healthy person stands in front to take victor hit
  • 60 seconds base kit corrupt goes away on first down, the perk extends duration by 80 sec

  • dead mans isn't even that good now, it's only decent on very certain killers, doc, artist etc

getting off the gen as you see the aura of getting hooked is not hard to do, then if you consider the 10-15 seconds it takes for the killer to actually get to the gen to actually push someone off the gen, then how it would take another 10-15 seconds for another survivor to even get to that gen, after the killer is no longer in the area, the gen is unblocked

    OP is right though.

Even in tournament play, killers are consistently tunneling, also camping the hook quite commonly. Just watch this game:

    https://youtu.be/fXlLWcQLufo?t=406

In the first 4 games of this tournament every time the killer would try very hard to tunnel only one person. And the only game where they didn't manage to tunnel was a 4-man escape:

    1. Game 1 : straight up facecamp, then tunneling despite DS, teammates body blocking, and even using For the People on Nea. Nea gets hooked 3 times in a row with only one person getting hooked in between. Result: 4 kills
    2. Game 2: straight up tunneling, Jake gets hooked 3 times in a row before anybody else gets hooked once. Result: 4K
    3. Game 3 : killer downs Adam but decides not to tunnel him for no apparent reason. Then decides to tunnel Claudette, who gets hooked 3 times in a row despite DS. Result: 2K
    4. Game 4 : No tunneling. Result: 0K

I didn't watch the other games but I imagine the trend doesn't change.

Keep in mind, this is not against random solo queue players who don't know how to counter tunneling, this is a SWF who all run DS and try to protect the tunneled person by body blocking / hiding him / even using For the People.

i don't remember the exact rules in that tournament, but tournaments have perk balancing, all survivors don't have DS, tournaments either only allow 1 DS, and some even have DS banned completely. The exception to this was the wispy tournament which was a free for all with minimum/no balancing.

  • if they're good loopers, it's likely because they only play for chases, so they want to always be healed for a full chase, and do not care about doing gens or escaping at all. idk about the no botany part though

  • force yourself to swarm & use one bird more until you're confident with hitting one birds, makes people that don't play a single tile free hits, and less slowdown placing more birds, and gets power back faster

i've been having the most fun i've had in ages on dbd maining artist the past 4-5 weeks

  • vs the average blight player that flicks everything, you literally just go wide, stop hugging things, then people will realise flicking with blight is the most overrated thing ever, and how much better bump logic is.

Another thing is learn how to bodyblock rushes, learn where on tiles blight has to bounce on or pay attention to what they have to bounce on.

Example in this clip is shack where blight has to bounce off either the corners, doorway, or nearby objects, just stand in front of it so you catch them, or they slide off you away

  • Nurse is a killer that requires you to actually dedicate time practicing versing, add ons like range are undeniably broken, but otherwise nurse is not as uncounterable as people make her out to be. There are some things that could be nerfed, that are not related to anything most people will say, double stun from pallets back, as well as not keeping progress for 2nd blink if nurse blinks with only 1 blink back. I'm not going to extreme detail of every single counter to nurse, mainly cause that is something that you have to directly show, and not just tell someone as well as the assumption there will be people that will just go, lol nurse OP not gonna read anything you say xdddddddd.

2 things I can guarantee majority of people that people that say nurse is OP and needs to be nerfed have not practiced doing is, using pallets, and using flashlight to stop blinks. I can use some clips as examples, but due to the complete inconvenience uploading from PS4 is, they will just be what I already have saved.

Pallets are not useless verse nurse, they definitely aren't as good since they removed double stun (pallet stun + fatigue) which is one of the changes I would advocate for, any decent nurse will not monkey first blink into the pallet, meaning the 2nd blink you can bait out by being patient, and paying attention to what direction the nurse is facing when blinking, or with pathing to block LOS such as like this

    Streamable Video

Or if you do not have LOS, you can mindgame by faking dropping on one side, which you bait on the side further away from the nurse, as it gives you slightly more time to reaction time drop the pallet if the nurse short blinks into the pallet

    Streamable Video

Flashlights which take a lot of practice, is predicting where the nurse will land from first blink based off what direction they're facing, as well as how long they charged the blink for to stop them from using 2nd blink. An easier method of using this is when the nurse is chasing another survivor who is injured, is holding the beamer on the nurse so they are forced to walk, so the survivor you're trying to help can just W away.

  • People need to learn the difference between in game 'toxic', and actual toxic, if you got someone clicking and bagging all game, but says gg and is a good sport in end game compared to someone who didn't bm in game, but throws insults and slurs in end game, which one is really toxic
