  • Yes I have! Curving Billy around loops is indeed tough to do and does require a skill to preform. That’s not the issue I have like I said. It’s the infinite saw span with no cool down whatsoever especially considering how small maps are getting. Thats why I proposed chainsaw charges. Does not effect curving and hitting survivors around walls, but mostly his map pressure so nothing huge changes besides running around the map nonstop and a few more seconds to get a charge of his chainsaw back to try again at a loop for instance.

I like playing Billy for the massive amount he provides, but in today’s Meta it just is a huge power creep problem and behavior should address that whether people like it or not which some won’t.

spoken like a true survivor main who never touched the killer in his whole life. Well done!

I’ve actually put six years into playing killer so what you just said is false, haha. Nice try though!

  • I never said that, haha. Point out where I said that please and thanks! Having a form of not completely spamming a killers power is a completely terrible implication, huh?

Ever heard of the overheat times? They tried this. It ruined the character to the point they became a hazard to play unless you used them for just curve testing. Which you didnt really care you lost you were just there for survivors enjoyment to see if youd curve or not. Both survivors and killers did not want that for a killer they wanted him to be threatening again. (And for good reason) so we got the overdrive update which was ironically one of the most popular midchapter ptbs not just because we got Alan wake but because of the billy update as well. And he got some changes afterwords to make him not as overbearing. Which is how he is now and I think hes still the most balanced of the A to S. Not good on indoor maps or high condensity unless you really know how to curve compared to killers like ghoul or blight. So, agree to disagree.

Yes I do remember the overheat mechanic. It was implemented to prevent using constant power spamming. Though it was clearly unpopular, but I understand why they did it. His chainsaw back then and today is by definition power creep being able to use it non stop with no downside. That’s a problem… imagine having Oni’s demon dash all game long. Thats pretty much what Billy is essentially. Just maybe slightly harder to use.

It was met by high praise because most killer players nowadays only find things “enjoyable” if they’re clearly very strong and if it’s not their excuse it’s “boring”

I’m not asking for the overheat mechanic to come back, but chainsaw charges to tame the amount of times people just spam chainsaw everyone microsecond.
