Just to confirm, this is still happening. He loses virtually no speed and can just insta-phase through people and keep chase.

There's a bug with challenges where you have to select a different challenge and then go back to the previous one in order to make it work. It's not tied to the survivors from what I know.
In the past they were tied to certain maps. Some challenges didn't work on newer maps but now they all should work except the challenge to hide in a locker after "x" seconds of being in chase. That doesn't work since forever now. It's been acknowledged months ago and it's still broken.
This fixed it for me. Thanks!

I still disagree, there are lots of things that deserve a depip.
DC - either side
Early hook suicide
4 man slug bleedout
The teammate thats hides and plays for hatch from the start.
Killers that try to facecamp survivors to death from first hook.
It's actually more unfortunate that thise last 2 will sometimes safety pip.
Depipping already doesn't work as a strategy "against" those things. They're going to happen regardless. The devs are not going to be able to implement a system that nuanced (they've already shown that by explaining that matchmaking is too "nuanced" to do anything other than count escapes and kills), so it only makes sense to remove depips and fix those issues elsewhere (such as the obviously very rough draft of the new mori mechanics, which in its final form likely will still help prevent 4-man slug games).

In my experience reports always worked. Every cheater I encountered, got banned (later confirmed by a "game ban" in their steam profile).
Not that I had any doubt but today I got confirmation that BHVR does ban people for griefing / unsportsmanlike. Someone shared their banned message over reddit.
So I don't know what you get out of going around saying reports don't work (other than potentially demotivating someone from using the system and by extension giving cheaters/griefers a feel pass) but hey, you do you.
I don't need to demotivate people. I know I'm not the only player who's never had anything done about reports made even with valid evidence (I have three email threads with no response from them to prove this before I stopped bothering altogether). This thread is about a potential bug in the reporting system, so if they're taking a look at it, it seemed like a good time to mention some people have lost faith in this system altogether.
Fair enough, though - glad you've gotten responses.

Good question, but unfortunately, reporting doesn't do anything anyways. I've had people throw slurs around in end-game chat on more than one occasion and even with screenshots, their support doesn't respond. They don't care.

This perk was fine the way it was—it wasn't even that strong when you did get use out of it. Y'all nerfing it to the point that it's literally useless now makes no sense, which isn't helped by y'all providing no explanation for it.

This happened last week to a streamer and to one of their viewers and tonight to me again, 9 months later.
And there's another thread about it already. https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/233529/cant-disarm-trap-under-exit-gate-lever.
Here's a video showing it:

Relatively newer player here (about a month of play and generally loving it). I don't have any new ideas to add, but as this is the place to provide official feedback, I want to echo those in favor of combining elements of the new HUD with the layout of the old HUD. I really don't understand the reasoning behind spreading all the information across the screen when the data itself allows for a concise layout. As survivor, there is no way I can enjoyably keep up with each corner of the screen, which has definitely taken away from the experience a bit. I'd imagine y'all completed user tests to indicate this was helpful/appealing to some people, but no devs have explained the reasoning behind these decisions, so it only leaves room for frustration and speculation. I also am a little disheartened seeing that a lot of players voiced concerns in the test build but then BHVR simply ignored those concerns? It doesn't inspire a lot of confidence as a newer player that the devs really care about the core playerbase, which is concerning to me.
In terms of improvements I'd like to see to the new HUD elements, the blood bar is definitely too small (and generally the HUD doesn't get as big as I thought it would on a TV). And while I love the addition of the character portraits, they become a bit useless when you have multiple of the same character in a game and once again have no idea who is who. It'd be useful if the portraits adapted to show the cosmetics the user has picked for their character.
