@orion I'm guessing you're a leatherface main ya big ol baby
-
@Orion I average a 3/4k a game. I'm pretty sure that makes me a killer too bro
-
My (age appropriate) offspring take to the camping methods when playing as killer, despite me showing them they get more BP when continuing the patrol after a hook.
Different logics and gameplay ideas I suppose
-
Is it mean that I like to toy with new survivors so I can get more BPs? Of course I'll eventually try to kill them but it's fun!
-
Damn.. MoM has upset some killer mains
-
I dunno dude.. as the killer I'm in control of the game so I get to decide who dies and who survives (to a point obviously) I like to praise them for good surviving, like if they're the last survivor but it's about to be their first hook I would instead put them by the hatch to crawl out.
But as a survivor I'm surviving! I ain't giving them pity sacrifices.. surely it's like popping a dummy in their mouth n telling them it's gonna be ok. It's not going to be ok.. you need to learn how to kill more efficiently it's so enjoyable once you do!
Praise good behaviour not bad ;-)

Thanks for the tip @Petraaahh I have to take an hours break sometimes until I can work my hand again properly! That hour without dbd is frightening..
-
My bf has to have sprint burst no matter what and plays very effectively with it but I personally think it ruins my style of play when the exhaustion steps in. Self care being standard however would be more beneficial and realistic, though I see killer mains wanting to scrap self care altogether?
-
I've always laughed at the points system on daily rituals.. there is no logic lol
-
Those perks would be pretty damn sweet!
-
@kaelum with my stealth build as solo I'm able to save and heal my TMs quietly and quickly. Because I am aware of what my own youngsters shout at the game when it's not going there way does not make me a bad player because I do not want to communicate. Do survivors have walkie talkies in horror films? The option of mute would be pointless.. people will play more childish and unsportsmanlike because they'll assume you're listening to them. I read your post fine and it begun with a very narrow minded opinion.
-
Please do not suggest in game comm - allow me to enjoy my horror games in an isolated manner. The gestures we already have encourages childish moves.. what next? Emotes?
I have options to SWF but sometimes solo is more fun on a stealth build.. change up your styles it's worth it

@KreepyMF fun fact I use to go in online with a sword on cod black ops I think it was 3. But does the same apply if you’re a killer being gen rushed/pallet looped/DS strikes by all four?
I play as killer and survivor and even when a solid team of survivors are pummeling me it's still enjoyable because I'm able to learn from where I made mistakes and to pick up tips from them as a survivor - the legion does not provide anything for me, as a gamer.. I do not believe there is any game play or skill

@Aven_Fallen it isn’t the killers job to care about your “fun” just like how it isn’t the survivors job to care about the killers fun.
I dont play games for anything other than fun - no one should be forced to participate in a match where only 1 person enjoys the game play. Playing against a tunnelling, camping legion is like playing call of duty but you have no gun - I don't understand the point?
-
Camping doesn't pay the killer.. they soon realise that when they try other styles of play. Having a good team of survivors can always out smart a camper so just up the skills bro

Well what if we kept the reward for frequently switching targets, but eliminated the penalty for hitting/hooking the same survivor over and over again.
In this way the killer won't feel punished if they decide to tunnel down a player, but in a scenario where they can easily choose between two targets, they might be incentivized to switch targets.
Thoughts?
Exactly my thoughts as I read the original idea. Sometimes it is unfortunate that the killer frequently comes across a survivor because they're either n00bs or teammates can be ######### for not taking those hits or distracting the killer. There's always going to be style of play disagreement but rewards for creating a spread out blood bath would encourage more fun surely
-
Definitely need to temporarily disable lobbies to those who dc though. I repeat.. DCers are LOSERS
-
Those who disconnect and lose bloodpoints are losers. However, so many legions use their frenzy attack to tunnel instead of causing fun blood baths. I am not ashamed to admit I do not struggle when hooked against the legion. Even the killers themselves hardly seem to gain much bloodpoints.. it's a waste of game time. There is some great legions who murder the ######### out of me and can still make it enjoyable, but as a whole.. you guys ruin it

The 1st skill check should be a fail no matter what as a notification of location - not that the doctor needs anymore opportunity to overpower survivors ha
