I agree with you 100% when I play a video game I don't go out my way looking for what sexuality a character is, I play a video game to enjoy it. I could honestly care less if Nea was lesbian and Dwight is gay. I'm actually fine with them going into depth of their orientation so long as they don't push this agenda in game such as Tome lore etc.

Our existence, that being the mere existence of LGBTQIA human beings, is not an "agenda"

  • I would love a chapter dedicated to John Carpenter's The Fog, one of my favorite horror films of all time.

It could also make for an interesting and different map, with environmental flavor not seen in other maps (and via the killer, an environmental tweak that would affect all other maps he's playing in). It'd certainly be a cool place to play The Trapper's sea sunken skin.

I imagine it would take place on Antonio Bay's coastline. There'd be a water element, maybe a quarter of the map submerged in traversable, shallow sea. Lighthouse in the distance. Fog horns. Stevie Wayne could be a survivor, thus bringing Adrienne Barbeau, another Scream Queen, into the DbD fold.

But what would make it really different (and really different every time you played against this killer) is that the entire map would be blanketed in an impenetrable fog, Silent Hill style. Thus forcing players to be more cautious, more stealthy with no long distance line of sight past 10 or 15 feet. The killer, one of the ghost pirate / lepers from the film would function similarly to The Wraith utilizing invisibility and when he decloaks he would materialize from out of the swirling fog next to you.

I think that it would be super atmospheric (I'm always wondering why the devs don't utilize environmental changes in maps more such as fog or lightening storms etc.)

My dreams of a Night of the Demons chapter was detailed here:

  • Some existing horror properties which likely aren't big enough to warrant their own chapters or are too similiar to madmen / survivors already in the game, but whose killers and characters maintain a loyal fanbase all the same.

For instance, The Hag from Curtains.

The clowns from Killer Klowns from Outer Space.

    Pumpkinhead

    Cropsy from The Burning

    The Strangers

Pluto from The Hills Have Eyes

    Angela from Sleepaway Camp

A black gloved giallo killer with a black trench coat, fedora.

The parents from The People Under the Stairs.

    Those sorts of things.
