So here’s the issue: I don’t know if you’ve paid attention or even care, but this update has been a long time coming. The god loops are being changed to have survivors and killers actually think about what the other side is going to do, rather than Survivors mindlessly looping at a window (Ironworks window, Rancid god loop, Torment Creek, etc). And your point of the devs only favoring killers is invalid, because if you remember a couple months prior to this PTB, Hex: Ruin was nerfed, which was one of the best killer perks in the game and was thought to be needed by majority of the killer cast to even be able to play the game. The killers that you listed above are powerful killers in the right hands, but not overpowered in any way, with the exception of Michaels with his iri add ons. But anyways I don’t know if you’ve been paying attention to gameplay from optimal survivors being able to five gen loop a killer (which I have done myself), but if you have, then just know that should never happen and any killer, no matter what rank or skill level, should always have a chance to get at least a kill in a trial, and people like you should not be able to have a skilless mindset of holding one button and holding forward at an exploitative window

I will go for each point:
"There is no real counter to his power, since you can be exposed while literally standing in front of him and staring at him."
This is 100% correct and needs to be reviewed. You can look at him the whole time and dont reveal him, or simply look in one direction, dont even see him, and he gets revealed. His Reveal-Mechanic is simply broken and dumb for both sides. What is kinda frustrating as well is that the Reveal Process starts again when he hides for a short amount of time, but the Stalk-Meter does not reset when doing it. But I dont know a fix for that, because it should not be too easy to reveal him (maybe instead of restarting at 0, let the Revealing gradually go down).
"This killer is the ultimate tunneling machine, since he can easily counter BT and down people right off the hook again."
Sadly this is a problem with every Stealth Killer, but I highly doubt that you will get friends here when proposing that BT works with Killer Distance from Hook. This would be totally the correct way, because only because that Ghostface is in Nightshroud, or this Wraith cloaked, or this Pig crouching, does not mean that they are not camping. That Doctor which is using Distressing is also not camping, only because his TR is huge af. But like I said, I doubt that this will make people happy when BT actually works against campers.
"GF should not be able to hide his red stain and his TR. It benefits the killer way too much without requiring any effort any effort."
While it is correct that going into Night Shroud does not require any Skill or Effort, this is how he works. He is stalking people while hiddin (or at least he has the ability to do that), and therefore he needs to hide his TR and Red Stain. This is a basic mechanic and should not be taken away. I mean, this is like saying that Hillbilly should not be able to use his Chainsaw until he is 8 meters close to a Survivor - because it does not take any effort or skill to run around the Map with it.
"The ability to crouch spam should be taken away, since it is abused by almost every GF killer."
Eh. Thats a BS-argument. Same can be said for Survivors, people just need to learn that they should not be offended by teabagging in general. The only thing that would be dumb on a teabagging Ghostface is, when he complains about getting teabagged while doing it himself.
"I can see the devs' original intention when creating this killer, but sadly these things are abused by killer main players."
I would not say "abused". The way of playing him without much stalking and just running around in Night Shroud, spreading damage, is the best way to play him, not gonna lie. And this should change indeed, but not by nerfing him. The Stalking Mechanic needs to have some form of impact, because currently you might stalk people, but when they are at a loop, you might not even get anything from it. Or they see you before and then you just wasted time stalking them. Currently Ghostface is only using half of his power, and this is something that should be changed. If there would be more changes than "Make his stalling meaningful" (like nerfing his Stealth Potential) would be up to the Devs.
And, of course, his reveal mechanic should work. Because it is quite clear that new players cannot understand what is going on and why they cant reveal him, when this is not even understandeable for players like me who have over 3k Hours and who reveal Ghostfaces here and there by just looking in a random direction or not by straight looking at him without ANYTHING (not even the own character model) blocking the line of sight.
Who’s mans is this?!
bro you gotta be playing in rank 15 get you jail bait paragraph outta here

my honest opinion on this subject
I personally think a lot of people are jumping the gun with the Ruin change and in-general the Killer player-count.
My builds used Ruin so often because of how effective it was, eventually because of this... 80% of my builds incorporated it... only some of my Killers like Legion, Spirit, Billy, and some others were spared from this, mainly because the builds I had for them didn't require Ruin AND I personally didn't want to use Ruin on them.
I haven't used Spirit since her road to P3-50 and for some dailies... and I haven't used Billy since probably mid-2019 I think? For dailies yeah, otherwise not so much in terms of one or two matches.
And Legion I have used a lot, even after his various nerfs and buffs.
here's the point though
I personally believe this change is for the better, since Ruin was so effective that most of my builds incorporated it... it really dried up the potential for any "builds" besides something like Ruin, BBQ, ???, and ??? depending on the Killer.
BBQ for points, and Ruin because it was effective and helpful for the mid/low tier Killers that needed it. But here's the thing, other perks that do this "less effectively" or the same exist, Corrupt Intervention exists, Huntresses Lullaby with 4-5 tokens exists, Devour Hope builds exists... there are options!
Yes Devour and Huntresses require a build up, but Hex perks were never meant to last more than 1 minute on average, Hex perks are just a gamble... if they last above a minute than the gamble paid off, if not, than the gamble failed for that match.
so why does this tie in with the "killers leaving the game" issue?
Because this wasn't a "big thing" until Ruin was announced for a change, so I feel people are just jumping the gun because of this change. If Killers honestly couldn't play without Ruin... than they were following a one-sided meta that had no variety.
But now... NOWS THE CHANCE FOR CHANGE! Now Killers can use more than 2 perks that're random, we're now able to expand and use 3 or 4!!! Many builds can be spawned from this, and long since dead niche builds can be revived once more!
Think about it, if the game was "dying", than wouldn't the player-count be drastically lower than the average? Wouldn't we be in the lowest point in DBD history with players? This game has the most consistent player counts for a multi-player horror game to date, and that's quite the accomplishment.
I think we're fine tbh, this always happens when a meta perk/power is nerf, changed, etc. The fires start to rise, but eventually only ashes will remain. In due time, people will accept this change... but the ones that can't will still remind us, so it's a double edged sword.
But hey, that's how it is for any meta changes, so this is to be expected.
I do want to say though, since Dead Hard has the survivor meta changed? Yes and no. But if we have a nerfed ruin, then what’s going to even the odds? Killers can still be rushed and either way no one likes a slug meta, it’s boring and I know this too well.

If they are, than it would be said somewhere in a current patch notes under "known issues."
That's not to say they aren't, but if it was on their "next to do" list, than they'll let us know. Right now though, the PTB will conclude soon and than 3.5.0 will come to the LIVE version.
Maybe they'll have something about it for that patch notes? Who knows.
Yeah you have a point but I’m hoping I can get a response to at least have sounds as something for them to keep in mind, that’s all

Imma be honest and say my flaws:
as survivor I tend to get really tense with my teams and the killer I’m playing against
and as killer my only flaw is working on big maps and that’s about it

We now have Grandma Laurie and Grandma Nancy. I wonder who will be next. I want to collect them all.

If they even acknowledge the fact that a killer is weak I will never listen again. Doctor didn’t need a nerf I think that they should do what they’re doing with it but make it playable at high ranks as well.
The Ruin nerf was so uncalled for because it was never a core issue in the first place. I have agreed with legit everything everyone is saying as well because it’s all true; they are showing favor towards one side and not making both sides fun and viable, they don’t listen to the other side of the community because they are sucking off low rank survivor mains, the devs don’t even have good reason for the nerfs their giving aside from rank 15 excuses, which really shows their rank. The main issue is the people able to learn skill aside from getting chased while their teammates rush the gens. Now there are a couple of survivor mains that really don’t like the change but there’s others who are going to take this, and play with weaker killers like a kid on Christmas

I would have no problem with them holding off on releasing anything before the current situation isn't solved properly. Which will not happen as, as I've said, bhvr has no clear vision of how their game is even supposed to be.
How would you change the game?

Freddy went from being one of the weakest killers to one of the top killers. I don't see many people complaining or dcing against him.
Eh you'd be surprised

The amount of killers I went against who dc'd because Ruin was destroyed, could not catch someone in a loop or got an inconvenient DS is off the hook.
Yea it's nowhere near survivor disconnects, but still happens.
It's a casual game afterall and if you're feeling competetive about it while failing to play amongst people who do so too, then that's your own fault really. I can understand some disconnects.
When you absolutely know that the game is going nowhere, you will depip no matter what and get next to no BPs you might aswell save yourself the time and head on to the next game.
You cannot ban this because nothing is at stake. If you were to start dishing out bans for Disconnecting I can see people leaving, thinning out the community even further.
IF there was a competetive mode, yes ofcourse, stackable bans for consecutive DCs like in CSGO for example. But in the current state of the game (which will probably not change for a long ass time, if ever) there is really no way you can enforce bans without people dropping the game.
Survivors love to think that they have to survive and escape every single time.
That's not even how I play the game. When I get a pip despite the fact that I died I still win.
Lorewise the survivor is endlessly trapped in this domain. "Death is not an escape".
Neither is escaping. This has not at all been made clear by the game or the developer and so you will find many newish players who, by misunderstanding this become frustrated and choose to save themselves some time to play another round.
Many interesting changes can be made to this game. I have some ideas, many many people brought forth great ideas. BHVR is too busy juggling the implementation of more cosmetics and trying to learn how to code in the first place without creating a proverbial Hydra of Bugs.
And I agree, a competitive mode in DBD is a big thing that I think needs to be implemented into the game.
It would not only make a safer environment for casual survivor players, but also create an environment for the competitive player to do just that; compete.
I see you're point about behavior not doing much and how to run their game and as I said I agree a lot, but you gotta think after mid-chapter patch they only have a month and a half, not even, to come up with balance changes, quality of life changes, and putting the finishing touches on the newest killer about to release on the PTB.

Why get better at the game when you can disconnect and demand nerfs?
Ah yes, the way of dbd life. If you're not disconnecting you need to go play Roblox

I don't remember people dcing against nurse that much unless they were using omegablink or additional blinks.
Survivors dc for 2 reasons:
1- they are super salty
2- they don't enjoy going against something and they dc
The second reason is why a lot of people dc against spirit. Majority of people dislike going against her. That's not to say dcing is a good thing but it's why people do it.
And I agree very much with you on that one. But if anything I tend to have fun playing survivor bc I am a balalnced player and I enjoy both sides
