What is the issue?
More of a "heads up" if anything.

Seriously!? How?
No idea. I loaded into a trial but had no idea. Came back as the game loaded into the scoreboard screen, said my apologies to everyone, went back to the menu and had a 5 min penalty.

Then "just bleed out me" button is not a right suggestion because that punishes those who deserves 4k, finisher mori is exactly what you would want.
What you've suggested just punishes killers in lot of arbitrary situations, just bad change.
Simply allow the bleed out option to grant the killer the equivalent of a 4k??? You and old mate Not_Requested49 are clearly missing the point. It's beyond me why you both even commented tbh.

If the killer sucessfully downed all 4 at once.. then there must have been some severe misplays on the survivors' part
*Laughs in Infectious Fright, A Nurse's Calling, Sloppy Butcher, Star Struck Nurse*
I can't help but notice you completely ignored the question.

We do not need another way to avoid the DC penalty, thanks
Respectfully, to you, what difference does it make if players DC when being left to bleed out, or if they bleed out?
I'd much rather move to the next than wait 5 minutes for bleed out. I'm not talking the killer having one person slugged, and allowing that person to give up. I'm talking the killer has all 4 survivors slugged and refuses to pick anyone up, leaving all players to do nothing for 5 minutes.

Intersting so it's a massive middle finger tonsef teams that run all 4 of them to messs u overCorrect. Making the perk a high risk, high reward perk instead of a "let's get out of gaol for free with no worries".

So all i gitta do is dribble this annoying obsession to a hook abd camp them with a ebony or ivory and kill them fast and I don't have to worry about it anymoreCorrect.
High risk - Obsession being juggled and dying on the first hook thus removing other survivors' Decisive Strike.
High reward - The free escape.

Only when cloaked.
I mean, I know it sounds good at first, but with other add-ons it'd probably be a broken combination.
Yeah, I guess it would be somewhat "op" if it were mixed with Coxcomed Clapper, but it's pretty much the same with The Hillbilly's insta saw, Huntress' Iridescent heads, Trapper's bloody coil, nurse and her extra blink addons (she can have 5 blinks!), Myers' tombstone and fragrant tuft of hair, Hag's rusty shackles, Clown's redhead's pinky finger etc.

@George_Soros said:
Yea I was wondering why they didn't make an addon like this. Quite an obvious addition to his kit, and I doubt it would be that "OP". Should be purple, possibly with a slight penalty for uncloaking or some other debuff, like with many stronger addons.
I mean, if Spirit has Prayers Beads...It would mean survivors would have to be more aware of their surroundings when they know they're versing The Wraith. They'd have to look at the grass when working on a generator, listen to the sound of his footsteps etc instead of just looking around for the shimmer which isn't very hard to miss.

It's supposed to ensure if the obsession does die, the killer still has something good happen on their side.
You keep the obsession alive - you get cooldowns and faster movement speed (PWYF).
You kill the obsession - The gens are slowed down, other survivors suffer.

I like the PTB itself. It's nice being able to test features out and, honestly, I was dubious about this whole rework but this might get me and my wife back into DbD. The cosmetics store has a ton of neat options for characters. The one drawback is that you're playing against the DbD community. And while a lot, I'd even say most, of the people on the PTB are there to have a good time and test stuff out you will encounter your veins of dirtbags and try-hards who are just there to ruin the fun for everyone (camping killers, survivors who just loop and teabag, etc).
Overall, however, my experience has been pretty positive and I've been a huge naysayer of this game for a long time now.
How are you finding the pallet and their layout change?

Doc doesn’t take stealth away at all?AlexAnarchy said:@SnakeSound222 said:

A lot of survivors (myself included) want to DC as soon as they see a doctor. The doctor is not underpowered nor is he overpowered. He’s just annoying. Sure, his ability to shock survivors and prevent them from performing certain actions is semi ok, but the thing that’s most annoying is how he is able to find survivors without even looking.I’ve seen survivors just roast the killer because they played The Doctor and don’t like the doctor.
Looks like someone can't accept the loss of their precious stealth.
and doctor really does'nt take stealth away at all...it just takes survivors being actually skilled at stealth too beat doctors.
> Survivor hears a heart beat
> They move behind cover so they aren’t seen.
> Doc switches to treatment
> Survivor screams revealing their position when trying to hide.
no, doc definitely doesn’t take away stealth. You’re completely right. -
Technically you’re right, because Dead by Daylight is actually a game of hide and seek, and when playing hide and seek one needs to stay hidden and be sneaky when moving around. However, that can’t exactly be accomplished when there’s a character which takes that whole aspect of the game away.SnakeSound222 said:@HUNGRY_AS_A_HIPPY said:

So yes, I suppose I can’t accept the loss of my precious stealth in a game that’s supposed to aim at being stealthy. Am I right or am I right? -
The thing that makes SB “op” is that when a survivor breaks into the sprint, there is a built in Dead Hard effect which will prevent the killer from hitting the survivor as the sprint begins.
With the hillbilly’s chainsaw, when a survivor breaks into the sprint, the chainsaw will cut itself off, like it does when a survivor activates Dead hard. Same thing happens when the killer lunges with the melee attack. The lunge stops.
Sprint Burst could also be said to be op because it can outrun The Pig’s dash attack.
IMO, the killer’s ability should always have priority over the survivor perks - unless, of course, they have Dead Hard -
I believe the dev team want to release dlc to keep the players from getting bored, while fixing the bugs inbetween.
Every time a chapter is released there’s always a bug fix list to come with it. And since this patch is now going to be bigger and game changing, I think we’ll see a lot of good changes. -
An Ace with the p3 head and the suit outfit - I know exactly how they’re going to play.
A legacy p3 head Claudette with the Shmock and the purple cords - I know exactly how they’re going to play. -
The Doctor and The Nightmare. There’s no in between, they’re both number 1 of which I hate versing.
Theyre both not op or underpowered, they’re just annoying.
The doctor can find a survivor without even looking, and Freddy is kinda the same. -

The default layout is probably the most easiest one to use, unless you’re able to create one that suits you.
How long have have you been playing on the PC for? I have over 5k hours and I know that if I don’t play for more than 2 days (even just having 1 round) and come back, then it’s like I’m starting for the first time. after a game or two it starts to feel normal again.
Just keep playing, you’ll get used to it eventually. You’re rank 20? It’ll be a good start to get used to the controls. I’ll say don’t try doing all the amazing jukes (360, window juke [where you spin and the killer hits the window], etc.) as you’re still getting used to everything. The more you play, the more you’ll adjust. -

However, I’ve also read some hateful comments from killers about survivors playing stealthy and completing the objectives without the killer being able to find any of them, which makes them a “pussy (cat)”.Let's face it... part of the enjoyment is finding people and chasing them.
I played super stealthy trying to get to Rank 1 and I've had people complain about Urban Evasion or being "immersed Claudette".
Exactly. Stealth is the way I play when I enter a trial, and I’ve had killers call me a “pussy” because I wasn’t out there being all look-at-me-look-at-me. I mean, if you want me to loop you through 5 gens then just say so, lmao.
-
Just to clarify, by “stealth”, I mean actually doing objectives, not just crouching along hugging the wall doing nothing.

+1
good idea. Would be awesome if self care wasn’t usable in the dream world, yet medkits can be. Out of all the things that make Freddy weak, self cares first on the list. -
I don’t even think the perk “Spies from the Shadows” picks these crows up. These crows are like an animation I believe, because not even calmspirit prevents the crows from triggering.hMM said:"Hate" perk wouldn't be a good idea, because there is that big ship in the swamp that always has like 15-20 crows standing

The dbd community is like a school bus. You’ve got the people down the front of the bus who play how they want and don’t care about any one else (the quiet ones).
you’ve got the people in the middle of the bus. They’ll play fair but only if the opponent plays fair (the “normal” people on the bus.
then you have the backseat bandits, ie, the bullies. The ones that can dish but most certainly cannot take. The pallet loopers, the ones that ruin the killer’s fun yet have something rude to say when the killer ruins their fun.

T-bag at the exit gate

Favourite thing - probably the emblem system (FOR SURVIVORS NOT KILLERS). Now (suvivors) actually have to do something in order to pip.
worst thing - the vacuums of any kind lol -
The males are bigger than the females, that’s why the females hide easier than the males.

It is realistic having the killer hit through the window. But the weapon doesn’t even hit the survivor. I’ve been hit after I’ve vaulted a window and began to run, and I’ve done this to survivors when I’ve played killer also. Feels great when you’re the killer (obviously) but there appears to be something wrong with the hit box.Trundler said:I agree that it sucks vaulting through a window leaves you so vulnerable, but it's actually kinda realistic. If you had a sword in your hand there is no magical force preventing you from stabbing someone behind a window.
It's already really easy to loop killers on pallets and windows - I disagree that vaulting should be faster. I think that would cause survivors to just run to windows and hop back and forth every time they're being chased.
-
+1
I agree with the killer being able to hit through the window and over the pallet, but not much so on the window vault speed. Any faster and it may turn into a window vacuum like there used to be.
-
Nea Karlsson.
Can’t explain why haha. We have a connection. -
Definitely The Shape.
-
I quite agree in all honesty. I believe that the killer goal system should have stayed for killer and the emblem system should stick with the survivors.
-
+1 would be awesome.

Something that would count a player's escape : death: kill ratio would be fantastic to have. Even showing how many trials a player has entered as survivor and killer.
