I know this isn't the best rework idea but I was only trying to make him more fun to play and better to go against. To give him the easy gameplay but also more counterable at the same time. Honestly though this will be my last post on The Ghoul because I honestly just give up sadly. mainly because all that happens no matter what if it's good or a bad sight on the Character I get voted down and basically screamed at each time I say the killers in game name. I just give up. I will play him when everyone is happy with him. Morely the community ruined the killer for me

Bro dont give up, push for a rework so they can ruin another killer how they did with Onryo.

They already do that, and you can already get around that.

May i question what and how you know what they do and what they don't do? Or you are supposing everything you think its the truth when its not?
As far as i know the only way to see if something works or not its to test it. But clearly you have clairvoyance to know what works and what not.

    You're not realzing;
Making new accounts to avoid these pools (and avoid bans) is very easy in DBD, both on Steam and Epic
Placing people in pools makes it obvious you're being placed into cheating pools (another reason this isn't used very often)
Cheaters can already place themselves into other peoples queues, pools aren't going to do anything to them
    Plus everything else I mentioned

Better anti-cheat does more than a system that will do more harm to normal players than cheaters lol. If DBD had systems that were watching people for their "insane stats" you're much better off just removing their accounts than some wishy-washy queue system.

And making a track system on hardware its also very easy, so no matter how many account they have, its their hardwate that get moved into the pools. And if they move into people lobbies, Ban hammer.

If a cheater already wants to break the games anti-cheat, what stops them from faking the game out and making it think their cheat software is a whitelisted app? The reason stuff like this isn't used in anti-cheats very often is because its not that hard to workaround. All you'd do is punish someone that has some weird CPU application open, putting them into the "cheater" pool. While you would get longer queues because of the short list of acceptable applications that can be running (which, again, isn't really going to prevent anything).

The anti-cheat on our clients and BHVR server validation should just be their focus. The server seeing an Ace fly in the sky and screaming 500 times a second should probably set off some red flags.

Man, the cheaters dev update alongside with the anticheat develop team. If cheaters dont get banned but moved into pools they won't realize their cheats got discorver and they will not update it, or if they do it will be at a slower pace.
I'd rather wait 5 min in queue for a clean game, that dc and get dc penality for leaving a match where 2 survivors are cheating.

The someone who has to be moved into the "pool" should still have insane stats(flying moving around faster every time he get into a corner, coz cheaters are bad at the game, but they most of the time aren't stupid to use the cheat on plain sight, and get free boost on loops when you lose line of sight, and i've seen cheaters UI that does that automatically)
So if you have weird processes running, as long as you get no reports and no ingame weird stats, you'd still remain in the normal pool.
On the other hand, cheaters will get to fight other cheaters, having insane loooong queues, and eventaully and gratefully stop playing the game and go cheat at CS or COD.

Not making this pools, and having no way to spec a game during its play its giving them the ego boost they want, and while they break the game, making it look poorly and embarassing the DEV team, the fair and legit players unistall the game out of frustation to not understand what's wrong with them.
While in High MMR pools basically the 25% of players are cheating since the current system is actually rewarding and welcoming them.

So you want to make ghoul a worse legion? And kill all his skill expression and skill ceilling

Dude, legion can only vault pallets during power, he has no leaps at all time to go all across the maps. And its a only m1 killer.
giving him fatigue after leap its just fair considering all other killers has a downside when not hitting with their powers.
Also Legion need to hits 5 times before downing someone with power, and if you deepwound you can just cancel power to go after that survivor, still you have fatigue animation.
He simply can catch you from the other side of the map, give you deep wound, and then leap free hits you. How can you even compare the two killers?

I guess people like to have a broken killer for easy wins, regarding the needing of having any skills at the game whatsoever.
Basically this version of the killer is so easy that even a 90 years old who never touched a pc in its life can get a 4k.

  • I think the power its ok as it is, no need to rework it.

I'd rather want him to get fatigue like nurse when he hits no survivor after he uses its power.

Having him be able to catch up to any survivor after a vault or a pallet stun and free hits after a power miss its just unfair.

Unfair as well as he is able to go through hooks and gens with power and start the chase right away.

As far as i know ghoul is a 4.6 killer with the ability to leap from one side of the map to the other, its power literally can't miss since it gave a prompt that makes the survivor go in deep wound and its not avoidable, has no fatigue at any point, gets rewarded when survivor dodge its power, close any distance the survivor makes and get a free hit after it.

  • Oh also she has i think 2 or 3 addons that give her more stacks and make her able to return to her first blink position wich is a great and tricky way to play as nurse. Canceling the animation will make those break or become unfair to survs

Blight is different, you don't charge up his power. It's "point and press\click" ability.

The good examples are: (again) Ghoul, Wesker, Pinhead, even Demo and others. The thing is - they are all much faster than Nurse, they can literally just cancel their powers and hit you right away. She can't, she is slower than survivors.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3939197#Comment_3939197

    1. She is much slower than survivors (already a big handicap)
    2. Charging her power makes her even slower.

When you play against Nurse, you never run towards her when she charges her blink - you run towards her (double back) once she already teleporting. It's pointless to make her go into fatigue once you canceled her power, because she's not going to reach for that survivor anyway, she needs her power to make hits.

What I'm saying in my suggestion: just add a cooldown on 1 blink charge whenever she cancels her power, so she can't cancel her power more than 2 times in a row. No fatigue needed - she is slow as hell anyway, she can't hit survivor without her power.

The reason she's different, its because she can phase through walls. Meaning you can skip an entire loop where there are no windows and pallets.
So having the cancel animation and going on fatigue and losing the stack would literally not change at all as watching down as soon as you want to cancel the blink.
You just need to get used to her power and train it a bit, then you'll realise how unstoppable this killer really is.
And i feel that having her not be able to cancel its power is a good downside that should remain, punishing bad use of powers its what makes killer fun and hard to play.

Then again if you want to play a killer with jumps that is almost unstoppable as her without downsides, play ghoul. Its unfun to play coz its literraly a no brain killer, but at least you will not get punished for spamming your power even when its not necessary.

  • Tunneling and camping should not being either punished or rewarded. There is a counterplay to all of those, wich is genrushing. Most of the time i end up using one of those strat because the survivors are just "bad". They lack on something.
Camping an hook(especially if its the first one) Will make you loose 3 gens, tunneling is the same. Slugging people is the only bad thing here(reason why knockout was destroyed as a perk completely), You can finish the game by just hitting them all once with exposed or double hits without any hook stage, so my feedback would be, as the bar its filled, and you still have hook stages left, you can consume a hookstage to get on your feet by yourself(so unbreakable still can give you 1 free up with no downside of this).
For the rest, its up to survivors to learn to not unhook while killer has not started another chase, and to not immediately unhook and use the time on the hook to make progress on gens, also they often tend to heal under the hook, wich is a great help to the killer to go back and tunnel the person.

  • Played very few games the last months, still got lvl 80+ pretty quickly. Missions are a big boost and you do them without even trying so. Id say its pretty bad XD. Now i have 8 weeks of mission ahead with no rift prices :D

  • TBH the complain about ghoul imo is about that unlike other phases/rush killers, he gets rewarded when failing to use its power.
You miss the blink and attack with nurse? You get fatigue and have to wait for another blink, you miss your shot with deathslinger? you have to reload and slow down A LOT, you miss wesker grab? you have to wait to pull off the tentacle.
This killer just have no downsides and its unfun to play against(and i played it and pulled off the adept without even reading its abilities or perks just to clarify how easy and unfun is to play it).
I always talked with other people just by saying, give him fatigue when he misses a leap and then it would turn into an OK killer, instead we have a nurse that can rush to all side of the map, with 4,6% speed, and no fatigue at any point.
And all of this its not fixable as you said "ask the devs to creat more perks" since you don't know what killer you're going into before the game starts, and the idea of having 3 perks for character is to make sure that people won't end up using the same 4 perks everytime everygame.

  • I agree with the pause, go next shouldn't be in the game if they don't fix the cheating problem first. At the end of the day i will be punished for not wanting to play against some subtle survivor/killer cheats? That's insane BS. Fix or find a solution to the cheaters first, then think about the "go next thing" BTW i hope my suggestion will come thru so we can have fun playing this game without having to use cheats ourself to pace off the others.
