SM just mind breaks survivors at this point. People just give up the monent they see her.
-
Every casual killer player who doesn't put his all into murdering everything that moves is either a hardcore mental masochist who likes losing all the time or will eventually be filtered by survivor bully squads.
Game just conditions killer players to be as efficient and brutal as possible, there is no sure way to tell who you are playing against skill-wise and when it's against people who know what to do - you'll have no breathing room at all.

Used Knight's ability to check on further gen, see it being at about 75% due to noise & cylinder position, then just a second after I spawn a guard and exit ability mode it pops. Must be magic.

I would definitely watch you!🤭 But I have to say I don't remember a timeline where Killers didn't claim that tunneling wasn't a "necessity in today's meta" even when, like I mentioned, during the gen-kick meta where they could turn their brains off and keep the game going for 30 minutes with CoB+Overcharge+Eruption until survivors gave up. Killers were still complaining about how fast gens were going. So I always take "tunneling is a necessity" with a grain of salt.
Again, I'm not against tunneling as a strategy when the Killer wants to gain pressure. I don't even mind being tunneled out of the game when some gens are done and Killer decides to get someone out because there are 2~ gens left. But hardcore tunneling very early on at 5-gens has became the norm nowadays and it is a problem.
Tunneling at 2 gens doesnt' work since it takes way more time to tunnel someone than for rest of his team to do gens. Unfortunately it is impossible to tell if survivor team will be sweaty or not in lobby, therefore not giving survivors any slack from the start is a default option.

They can and are seen as toxic behavior by many. Everyone is allowed their own perspective. No need to invalidate someone's feelings. OP did not say it's a fact but rather that they feel it's toxic.
Being tunneled for 3.5 hours must be very frustrating, and one must question why continue playing if that's considered acceptable game play. Idk about you, but I play games for fun, and I'd rather endure another EMG and NVC torture test then deal with that junk.
As my mom says when she hears us playing in a sarcastic manner, "your game sounds fun!"
It needs to be unrewarding and 3vs1 needs to become stronger, because doing something so easy should he a free win.
Like I keep saying on this forum, if my 10 year old niece can get 4Ks without tunneling, then that tells me everything I need to know.
I can get 4k consistently on killers I don't play much because they got no MMR. Mains though? Sweatiest SWFs for days, first gen pops within 30 seconds from the start if I don't run CI (how about that becoming a base kit, huh?), second gen usually follows in 10-15 seconds more, everyone and their mother has MFT, hexes never last more than 30 seconds, gen regression perks denied with touch, if you roll a big new/redesigned map - it's over from the start.
-
Tunneling is a requirement now to score at least 1K against a semi-competent survivor team.

MMR for what its worth is seperate for each killer.
If I queued into a game as freddy, then swapped to Wesker, it would be completely unfair, as the game would match me against newish survivors.
Damn. It surely doesn't feel like it tho.
-
Ability to swap killer in lobby, please.
-
Just got forcibly kicked & leave penalized in a 3k game proceeding to hook the last survivor (who was a very cocky Nancy with empty Steam account btw), I can tell it was not a sudden server issue because server-wide troubles don't apply leave penalty and it happened right at the moment I began the hook action.
-
imagine if classic pvp games like Halo or Doom LAN play balanced around using the same, 1 boring gun to kill everyone, every single timeIs my memory bad or it was exactly few superior guns overshadowing everything else in every classic comp FPS title like Q3, CS and UT?
-
Great, now BHVR just has to revise every map to fix these random collisions with tiniest objects preventing Wesker to use his power.

Yeah, and this needs to be replaced by a punishment, the more gens that are remaining when the first kill happens, the stronger remaining survivors are in pushing gens and lasting longer in chase untill all gens are finished.
That way, killing 1 survivor ASAP is no longer the best strategy and could even turn the game around if the killer is too greedy for a kill.
I personally believe the healthiest balance for the game is if, on average, the first survivor dies with 1 gen remaining, then the second dies, on average, when all gens are done, then, again on average, the 4th survivor will escape and the 3rd survivor has about a 50% survival rate.
That would give 2.5 kills for killers on average, keep the gameflow fun throughout the match in general and punishes greed.
The slowdown patch literally made survivor greed much harder by slowing down gens, making chase overall shorter and granting a basekit mini-Pop on kicking a generator. So why not a patch that punishes killer greed by granting a mini-DS on being tunneled? And if they still push on to kill due to whatever benefit they gained through soloQ by increasing all survivor action speeds by 10% for each generator remaining when the first survivor dies, untill all gens are done?
Slowdown patch? Excuse me, last I checked dedicated solo survivor can do a gen in about 50 seconds and two can do a whole gen before killer can even walk to them from across the map.

I know. I just played sadako last night. Discordance pops and it literally finished before I made it.
Sadako at least has teleport options. I can't imagine how sad is Myers or Trapper gameplay is right now.

Perks: Nurse calling & gen regression of your favorite flavor.
Addons: shoes, hands, anything without effects for crow quantity/idle duration
She's 4.6 speed so don't try to get a crow hit every time and chase with W more. Always use only 1 crow for initial swarming (unless you just need scout the gens quickly) then wait for cooldown and throw a spread pattern of 3 crows towards swarmed survivor location for higher chance of a hit.
Antiloop: place crows against pallets, along window & door walls, around the corners. Don't expect to hit with the crow though, it's mainly there to discourage survivors of using some loop options and force them to pick the route you want.
btw crows flying over lockers will highlight hidden survivors with killer instinct heartbeat

So the generator increase did nothing. Wow.
It's even worse than before. M1+W killers right now can't even reach the gens on some maps before they get done after Discordance pops.

Educate yourself please.

I shouldnt be running perks to counter this 24/7 in all my matches. Especially jow most perks have been nerfed into the ground to where they are useless
And I shouldn't be running gen slowdown & repair detection perks 24/7 in all my matches, but here we are both.
-
Whenever I feel pity for the obviously new survivor player (especially Leons, they look like puppies when they play silly) unless it's Steve, Feng or Claudette. I hate those three even in their infancy with burning passion and will indiscriminately eliminate them and whoever tries to save them from my wrath.

The math ain't quite mathin here.
A gen takes 90 seconds solo. And you said that the whole team had medkits so not toolboxes or BNP in play. Only 2 people had Prove thyself....
How was your match 3 minutes long??? were you standing in a corner not pressuring anyone? and even then, I still don't think you can get out of a match in 3 minutes
90 seconds without skill checks. However, if you have Prove along with Hyperfocus, repair together with someone and win perfect checks consistently it's entirely possible to complete the generator faster than m1 killer can traverse most maps between generators.
-
I am fine with rekindlable boons. Problem lies in hexes being waste of a perk slot or requiring a 3-4 perk hex build to be relevant and then you still may fall victim of mapgen putting your hexes next to survivor spawn or somewhere visible from orbit.
IMO hexes should not be tied to totems on the map and shall be persistent, while cleansing any totem on the map shall turn all hex effects on killer off for 90 seconds or so.
-
Then basekit BT has to go.
-
Hyperfocus has perfect syngergy with those free undetectable auto skillcheck scripts, which I believe are plaguing the game now. My claim can be easily verified running Call of Brine on antiskillcheck Doctor builds and seeing seven perfect pops under ten seconds in a row on a recently kicked gen going from near 0 to 100.
-
Better than Trapper, Pig or Myers i'd say.
One advantage of Sadako is that she's rare and most survivors don't know her mechanics well.
Otherwise she's a somewhat stealthy m1 killer with decent map navigation ability, definitely not the rock bottom of tier lists, I rate her somewhere above Legion and just a bit weaker than Nemesis.

What exactly do you mean by being tunneled?
There's a big difference between killer going for you and you only while there are other pressing objectives at hand or simply being the most lucrative target among survivors. Maybe you hang out in close to the killer too much after getting unhooked, or play too aggressive when you already have been hooked once or twice.
By all means, survivor who keeps rubbing killer's cheeks after getting unhooked and gets hooked again doesn't deserve a moral right to complain about tunneling.
